Hi Niccole,

I'm still here. It's not my time yet, but we are keeping the "Faith". How are you doing these days?

Thanks for starting a new thread .

Godsbeloved - I'm not ready to leave you guys yet so I started the thread. I want someone to come with me!! Keep the faith and it will happen. Fortunately I am feeling very good and no morning sickness so I hope it stays that way. I'm not ready to radically alter my diet or give up the exercise so I hope I continue to feel good.

Take care.

I'm here.............now CD5 for me again. I got TOM on Saturday morning I was sooooooo sure I was PG, but I think I was talking my body into thinking that too!

So........I started charting this cycle, and started temping yesterday. We'll see how this cycle goes I guess.

SOrry I've been AWOL when there was so much going on!

Paula n Eden -

Tarrah - you're my psychological mentor! You've really got your head in the right place about all this. I'm getting there, slowly but surely

Niccole - you're such a sweetie to be thinkin of my race! I'm starting to get nervous, but I'm really excited. We're going on vacation (so of course TOM is due any day now ) so I'll get to be running on the beach for the next week. That always keeps me motivated.

Hugs to everyone! Jenn - are you out there? Been thinkin bout ya!

Eden - Saw your post on the pregnancy thread. Thanks for the congrats! As far as hints...the biggest thing I can suggest is to try the ovulation predictors, even if you are temping. They can confirm that you are ovulating when you think you are and then you can target your BDin appropriately. I was lucky because I got a "positive" on my ovulation sticks 2 days before I actually ovulated. So I had some advance warning. I also was taking the chaste berry to help with my cycle. And it made my ovulation consistent from month to month. Lastly, I tried taking an expectorant for 5 days prior to ovulation and the day of...it helps with CM, which can be a problem with the chaste berry. And time...it took 6 months using the ovulation sticks every month and targeting that "moment".

That's all I've got

Hi to everyone else...Tarrah, Kat, Janette, Godsbeloved, Jenn (if you are still lurking about).

Take care.
Niccole

Just dropping in to say hello. DH and I finally took the plunge. I am a little over a week post ovulation and I am having some major breast soreness. I get this before TOM but it usually happens only a day or so prior to TOM.

I am not getting my hopes up but am amazed that this could be it on the first try We'll see next week!

I'm happy to report that I did in fact run that race this weekend, and ran it in 34:40, which is WAY better than I expected Thanks for all of your support over the last several months!

Hey ladies! Just wanted to jump on and join this thread. My hubby and I are TTC! We have been trying off and on since March 06. I say off and on cos he left overseas tdy for 4 months. he just got back two weeks ago so now we are trying again. i am sooo excited. this will be my 2nd baby. i have an 8 1/2 yo from a previous relationship. needless to say alot has changed. i am nervous and scared at the same time. i think about the labor and delivery and cringe. with my son i was only in labor for 2 hours and barely 1 1/2 pushes and he was out.

Anyway~ just wanted to join and say hi! baby dust to all of you!

angtonio, sorry about the negative. Sometimes it takes a little time.

mbolick! How long have you been TTC?

Tarrah, I'm kind of in the same boat with TTC. It's on the back burner because it was getting really difficult emotionally. I'm still praying for a miracle though!

Babydust to all!

Roxanne-- thanks! yeah this time i was fine with the neg. it was like ok, lets press on....i gave myself a little pep talk in my head. saying its alright, it all happens for a reason. we will have our babies when it is time. i am saying babies, cos we want 2 more. actually if they are both boys, then we are going to try for a 3rd baby, cos i want a girl. i already have one son who is almost 9.
y'all i am soooooooooooo ready for a baby. i keep telling all my friends to let me babysit. cos i need practice since its been too long. LOL

Tarrah,
Thank you! i remember you from the meat/protein thread with diana. glad to see you had a healthy happy baby boy. he is a cutie. i love the video of him laughing at the dogs. omg...i was laughing sooo hard. hee hee

i am worried too about not being "in the mood" for after we have a baby too.....cos right now both our sex drives, esp my DH's is high. i kid you not we have sex everyday. lately i been having to just say no every few days to give my body a break...LOL....i am 32 and my DH is 26.

Mbolick - You might be better off asking for advice on the PG thread, they got it right Just kidding, I agree with Tarrah, that taking it easy and trying as much as possible not to stress about it, is your best bet. A couple of wives' tale "tips", tho, are to prop your hips up on a pillow for at least 30 minutes after BDin and to try to BD everyday from day 7(ish) to day 21 or so of your cycle - if you have a 28 days cycle. How long have you been trying?

i am sure you will be preg before you know it. How long you been trying?

We've been going with the flow lately . Not using anything to prevent it. We were using the Oval. kits, but it was getting too . So we have let go and let God have HIS timing in this matter.

we are leaving it up to the good lord also. its frustrating though. it really plays with your emotions. you think you will be okay if you get the neg but when it does come back its upsetting. i try to be strong and all. but when your heart is aching for a baby its hard.

we tried the ovulation kits too and the doctor told us to look for the mucus for when you are ovulating. but it hasnt worked thus far.......

Sounds like we're all about in the same place. It's definitely hard; and just when you think you're pretty much ok, BAM something throws you for a loop. The way I'm looking at it right now (like, this moment, when I'm in a "I'm ok with whatever happens" kinda mood ) is that God has never not known what's best for me, and I'm looking forward to whatever challenges and
