No doubt

Well ladies, one - of the seemingly million - of my friends, just had her baby this weekend. She's gorgeous!!! Can't wait till I have one We're really enjoying our month off... actually, we're "enjoying" it a lot more than we were able to "enjoy" the trying, since we were trying to space the BDin out to every other day before and haven't had to this month if this ends up being a long process, we're gonna have to remember to take these little interludes every once in a while
Unfortunately, DH's car is caput and we're having to car shop now Wish me luck!

Eden - Sorry that you had to pack then unpack, but I bet you're sooooo relieved to at least know what's up. and heck, 'financial consideration' for your DH's trouble is never a bad thing!

Baby dust all around ladies!

Ya, I am kinda dreading the get organized task but I know I will be SO happy once it is done. I am normally a very organized person but over the last years little jobs were avoided and grew, add in 3 moves and a collector, unorganized husband and some major procrastination and whamo....you have a big job ahead of you. All for the better I suppose. I will feel much better when it is done and we have been wanting to simplify so here is our chance right

We are going to Door County WI tHis weekend for our family renion. I'd like to say my relatives will be noticing my weight loss but they never saw me at 210 so they won't know. I need to find a bathing suit to fit me. I am not looking forward to wearing one. I have terrible stretch marks on my arms, legs, bikini area....even on the side of my knees. How embarassing!!

TOM is here and I have major cramps. I am down in a bit of a slump. They are saying my dad has only a week or less left. We have been there everyday. He isn't in his right minds anylonger. One minute he is happy to see us, the next he's yelling at us. He looks bad, like he is in a LOT of pain and he moans and groan all the time but he says he's not hurting. That's good. Also, I haven't excersised in 15 days and have cheeted by eating a carb meal at least once a week for three weeks in a row. I decided to really get back on track now but getting myself to excersise is hard. It is hard to get back going. I just wish it wasn't over 100 degrees each day. That is no excuse though....I must start my videos!! I will start them! Luckily I haven't gained any weight...just stayed the same. Missed my first goal for JULY.
Sorry I wrote so much...I think I may be a bit lonely

OMG I'm glad you asked. I had a major revelation this weekend!!!! I had tried spag. squash in the past, but couldn't get past the texture being crunchy. So this weekend I made one the "regular" way, then scooped out the "meat/spag" and boiled it like regular pasta for another 5 minutes or so in heavily salted water. They came out tender like real pasta, and just tasted like the salt water. Tossed in some garlic olive oil, wilted in some spinach and added some shrimp. IT WAS DIVINE.

Have a lovely morning, ladies! Baby dust all around!

Checkin in to wish everyone a good Monday and a great week!

GB - Good to see you! Sorry life's hectic, but it's fun that way, too

Not much to report here, except that I went to my foster care review board training and it was wonderful. I can tell that it's gonna be hard to read some (ok, most) of the cases, but it's such an important thing for those kids. It also taught me a TON about the system itself, which I know will make it a lot easier when we start the process of fostering. There was actually another lady there who was a foster mom and had adopted 2 infants that were placed with her, so that was EXACTLY what I needed to see One of the presenters was about 5 months PG, and I didn't even break down
AF is on her way, cramping starting last night. The not-temping has gone great this month, though, I'm so much more relaxed and actually looking forward to AF getting here and gone again so we can get back to it!

Baby dust all around! How's everyone doing? Feel like checking in briefly?

Hey ladies

I think I haven't visited in a while....hmmm, must have forgotten last week.

Tarrah - Loved your picture! Glad you had a great weekend How is Kyle and his green snot? Hope he's feeling better.

Kat - Glad your foster training was good So what is the next step in the process? Your month off of "trying" sounds like it was good for you. So I guess next week you'll be back to temping and all? And I too LOVE spaghetti squash. Just saw some last week at the grocery store, so I guess I'll have to pick some up.

Godsbeloved - Nice to see ya Good for you getting your business up and running. Hope things are going well.

Eden - How was the family reunion? Hope you had fun visiting with family. How is your dad? I do hope you are okay

Hellos to Jenn and Janette

I planted some new perennials yesterday. Caught a sale at the nursery. Next up are spring bulbs which I'll do next month or in October. Today it was sooooo hot outside so we are in the air. I'm baking some banana bread to freeze for my mom...I promise I won't eat it I think I'll do some low carb zucchini bread too. Just passed my O day...and on my anniversary weekend no less Now that should be worth some good baby karma if you ask me

Have a good week
Niccole

Hi Ladies!

All is well here. Been approached by many lately, with the "when are you going to have a baby speech?". Not a nice feeling, but I know God is in control.

We got our first account with the cleaning business this week.

BaBy DuSt!

Well if we are in agreement it must be so! I'll assume that good things will happen for me this month

Okay so my scale and I are having a disagreement I'm eating really well, and not over eating either, and exercising and it gives me no change. Nada. And I'm getting more annoyed every day Today it had the nerve to go up half a pound. That scale is on thin ice with me I'm hoping it is O water weight that will be leaving me now... Oh yeah, and I did NOT even eat the banana bread and still I gain weight?? Makes me want to eat the bread

Godsbeloved - Congrats on the account There are those questions people ask that are just endless..."when are you getting married", "when are you having a baby", and then when you thought it was over because you did the first 2, "when are you having another baby". So it never ends

I'm going to exercise now..and then throw away my scale.

Niccole

I never even knew this thread was here!!!!

My name is Paula. I just recently got married this past Saturday and we are TTC as of now. DH is 36, I'm 25. We've been together 6 years and we're ready for kids!

I've been off the pill since Feb. because Dr. told me to get my cycles regular. They're about 25-27 days each time.

Well - hi!!!

Paula HI! Welcome! Congrats on tying the knot!

Well, I had been visiting my father for hours each day. One night they were sure he would not make it through but he held on for four more days. The day after we left for the family reunion he passed. My grandmother is catholic and she had the priest come in and anoint him and not even 5 minutes the annointment he died, he stopped breathing. I wish I was there but I am glad his suffering is over. His funeral mass is this weekend and my sister and I are singing and reading some verses from the bible.

I did really good staying low carb the first two days we were in Door County, then one morning I woke up starving and the hotel had those mini-muffins and I broke down with the, "it's vacation" excuse. After I binged on them I was going to go right back on track until my husband and I made a stop at the candy shop....I had a sliver of fudge. It was amazing. Then I got a bag of my favorite candy hearts which I gobbled for the next two days. I got back on track Tuesday when we arrived home. I gained 2 pounds and I deserved them. I need to kick it into high gear now!! Wearing a bathing suit in public was one of the hardest things I have done since child birth. I need to change that since I love swimming!!

Godsbeloved, that's cool that you started a cleaning business. That is a great market. My husband and I started one too and we called it The Office Cleaners...but we never followed through with it because we decided after registering the business and getting together all the paper work that we would do an investment company instead. We did a lot of research though and you can make a great living with a cleaning company!! Good luck!! I'm sure you will flourish

Niccole...I bet you are about to get the best visit from the woosh fairy that you've ever had.....and remember, you earned it!

Hope you are all well, babydust all around.

Well today we took a trip to the zoo. We have a membership and this is the 2nd visit for us this year. It wasn't too hot, but there were quite a few people. We ate lunch there and I had a grilled chicken salad, fat free dressing and an apple. So pretty good

Paula - Congrats on the wedding And yahoo for TTC! Good luck to ya You'll find we're a mix here...some TTC for a long time, some not so long, I have one son and we're trying for a 2nd baby. Stop in and chat so we get to know you better

Eden - I'm sorry about you losing your dad but his suffering is over and he's in a better place It was nice that you could spend so much time with him, for your peace of mind and his. I think your "mini binge" was probably due to stress and being on vacation. Two pounds isn't so bad. Just jump back on track and get into shape for the next time you wear that swimsuit

Oh, and I'm waiting for my whoosh....impatiently tapping my toes.

I have to go cook dinner. Baby dust to all

where did everyone go? Lotsa baby dancing going on? I'm gonna test today. I'm about 12-14 DPO. We weren't trying- but I'm going to test anyway. It isn't so stressful, I don't expect it to be P so no dissapointments. I just feel a little "off" and want to rule that out.

How is everyone else doing?

Well, I'm glad someone came to check in! I thought the thread was dying off.

I'm in my 2WW. Not too much to speak of either way so I'll just have to wait and see. At this point I'm slightly negative and think it's not my month.

Tarrah - If you are 12-14 dpo, how long is your cycle generally? For me 12 dpo means its TOM time. You must have a longer cycle or O earlier. Maybe you feel off because TOM is coming early for you??? Or is this your lucky month?! You'll have to let us know about the test. Test, test, test...let's all chant!

Kat - Your race day is coming up. How are you feeling? How goes the training? Are you nervous? Since TOM is here are you going back to temping this next cycle or are you waiting until after the race?

Hey to all the other TTCers! Baby dust all around...and for me too since I'm trying to keep TOM away!!!

Who the heck knows. I've only had one cycle since the miscarriage so I'm not sure I'm predictable. I just tested- neg. I actually am really okay with that......i still need some healing time. I haven't had a "reliable" cycle since before Kyle was conceived- well, I'm not sure even then . Spotting has stopped. lol.

Niccole - don't remind me! I feel off the training bandwagon for a while. I got a little sidetracked with "bootcamp". But I learned a valuable lesson; I do much better at taking care of myself and being healthy if I really just focus on the exercise. So, I live and learn I'm back to training, and feeling good! (but definitely skeert). I am temping but trying not to stress, cause I'd really rather get PG after the race (altho, I'd be ecstatic WHENEVER . How's that 2ww treating ya? Don't be too negative, don't forget about your extra anniversary dust!

Tarrah - Hang in there I know it's cliche, but it'll happen when it's right. Glad to hear you're giving yourself plenty of time to heal
