next step?
I did Atkins reached my goal and have maintained for 3 years until now.I hurt my back in Oct. and had a fibriod embolization a month ago. I have not worked out regularly since Oct. and have gained 8-10 pounds depending on what day I weigh.I got the ok from my Dr.to work out .
I don't know where to start when it comes to taking the weight off.Atkins for life and keep my carbs low?protein power maybe?I have always done only Atkins .I changed my way of eating rather than go on a diet. I used to suffer from irritable bowel and have not been sick in 4 years thanks to low carbing.I am used to a large variety of low carb foods and don't think I would do well on induction .I am also at a point where I am tired of the same foods. I would love any suggestions ,guidance and or support.I am pretty frieked out because now I have weight to loose rather than being a maintainer.I lost 35 pounds in a year.I never really counted or kept a journal ,Just guestimated and chose my carbs carefully.I also used the carb ladder when I began to add back carbs. I am only 5 ft tall and weigh 128-130.I am petite but curvy.Any advise? |

Yay that your doc has given you the ok to workout!!
Have you thought about just continuing with your current WOE but adding in exercise? If you're worried about changing your eating, too much, I bet that just working out would be enough to re-shape ya a bit and ditch those few extra lbs. GL!!! |
