Baby time????? HELP!!!

Ok, a few days ago I posted on someone's thread that I was happy to hear she was expecting and that I was jelious cause I've been trying since november...

This is my issue: I wasted alot of money in the past on tests cause I thought or just wanted to be pregnet, but never was..

Today we ate at a chinese restruant (we eat there all the time) and I feel so sick to my stomach.. I had tea, brocoli and beef with no sauce.. My husband is fine....

I just want to puke so bad... Could this pregnacy??? I don't want to waste any more money on tests.

Is it normal to get sick in mid day?

Could be about a billion things...

If you're trying, and you're late...maybe??

I dunno? Ditziness is another common symptom...I seem to have that one a lot myself.

Well then - I honestly wouldn't think that nausea would be kicking in yet if it were a pregnancy. Then again, I'm no doctor.

Whatever it is, I hope you feel better soon.

I didn't really start to get sick until I was a couple months pregnant....that was with all 3 kids.. If you aren't late yet.. I doubt that it would be sick from pregnancy.... But everyone's body is different though... and yes if you are pregnant it will happen any time of the day.... most of mine were right after lunch... best of luck to you.. I will keep my fingers crossed you are a soon to be MOMMY !!!

I would wait, but

I would get my "morning sickness" in the early evening. Nausea could be from anything. Any pain related? Chinese is what I had the night I had a major gallbladder attack. Go see thread about the gallbladder surgery that has been around the last few days. How are your breasts? That was my first clue with both my kids, they were slightly sore for no reason (actually it ended up being for a wonderful reason).

Since everyone is sooooo different, it is sooooo hard to say!

I remember when I was pregnant and working night shift at the hospital. I got morning sickness while I was working it was unbelievable - so YES you could be pregnant! I felt like throwing up all evening so just ate saltine crackers.....anything salty helped.

Those darn tests are expensive arn't they! I took 3 tests with my first, 2 with the second, and one with the last. Your nausea could have been from many things MSG perhaps?...I also had the tender titties as my first sign (started a few days before I was actually late) and had it with all 3 kids. Let us know if this is "the real thing" when you take a test (come on you know you're gonna do it! )...Best of luck!

You probably already bought the test, but for next time I would just recommend that you miss a period and/or you are late and then take a test. Usually it is a good sign when you miss your period that you are pregnant. I took a prego. test one day after my period was late and sure enough I was! I hope you are. If you are not there are some times that are best for conceiving, about a week after your period is the perfect time, when you are ovulating! Keep us posted.

I actually saw pregnancy tests at the dollar store!!!

I cringed when I read your post. I remember feeling just the way you do.I was married 10 years before my son (now 17) was born. It is so hard , I know, wanting to be pregnant and then not knowing if you are or not.... Just when I thought I would never have kids, I did get pregnant! I have a 17 year old and a 10 year old It seemed like everyone I knew was having babies except me.... How old are you? I was 36 when I had my daughter 10 years ago. Keep trying, and if it is meant to be, we will all be happy for you when you tell us you are pregnant!!

OK, i got clear blue..i know ur suposed to wait till the morning.. but I took one now and I plan on taking one in the am too...

clear blue uses the plus sign.. well the plus sign has a strong line that is going up and down and a faint one going across, which the one going across is suposed to be for negitive.. so I bought 3 tests... I'll take another one in the am.. and post then.. early of course! (pac time)

From: http://www.clearblueeasy.com/FAQCBETOPICTop5FAQs.cfm#3

If you see a blue line, even a faint one, in the square result window, this means that you are pregnant. The line may be faint blue if you are testing on or around the day your period is due. If you do not see a blue line at all in the result window, it means you are not pregnant. A faint line is caused by a low level of hCG. This is the hormone that your body produces in increasing amounts during the first part of pregnancy.

I'm hoping you get the answer you want!

After being childless (not by choice) for 6 years, I can tell you, when it happens, its definitely worth the wait. Our miracle baby is now 21 and has been a total blessing since day one.

Oh and btw, I *always* got sick in the early evening, never in the AM.

Gabeho--Judging from the Clearblue Easy site you gave us, this looks like the test you take the day your period is due. Didn't you say yours is not due for five more days? I hope you are pregnant, but if you are, the test may say negative because you are taking it too early.

BOTH times I was pregnant, I KNEW right away because I would literally wake up throwing up. With both girls, I threw up 3-5 times a day for about 8 weeks the first time and for 22 weeks the second time!

Somehow, I STILL managed to gain about 32 pounds each time though! (I am an overachiever....)

Good luck to you! Hope that sick feeling means something special!

So are you saying it was negative? Just remember that you could still be pregnant. When I was pregnant with my second daughter, the pregnancy test was negative. I just went about my business for the next week, keeping busy by painting the walls. It was after my period was late for a week that I took another test, and it was positive. So you may be taking it too soon still.

Pregancy test pick up the amount of HCG in your urine. If you test to soon before your missed period ( depending on your cycle at what time you ovulate) if can give a fale reading if your indeed pregnant because you will not excrete enough HCG to detect. The most accurate readings come from first urination when you wake up. Relax is the best advise i can give you. Your body will respond to any stress of worrying or anxiousness.

Have fun and and good luck..
