Spotting after intercourse (Sorry if TMI)

I don't know what to think. I have light brownish spotting after the deed. I do PAP's religiously every year and they all came back fine. I had a D&C recently and they got some cervical cells there too, and those were OK, so I have no clue why this is going on. I don't see my doc until August and I will ask her then, but in the meantime, any ideas? TIA.

Sasha

i think you should give your doctor a call now, not wait till august to talk to him/her. let the doctor decide just how soon you need to be seen.

i had this and it was a prolapsed cervix...mine was a bit more then spots and then i started failing smears .. when they took a biopsy they noticed the prolapse.. basically all they do is cauterise it, it doesnt hurt and everything has been fine ever since

i amnot saying you have this but it could be so i think you should get it checked

good luck

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a prolapsed cervix?

basically as i understand it u have an inner cervix which is soft and more sensitive then the outer bit.. the inner bit drops down and becomes raw as its not used to the less sensitive use it gets outside

so everytime u 'do the deed' yr partner pushes on the softer part which has collapsed down and makes it raw and bleed.... when they put the camera up there i could see it looked like if u had fallen and grazed yr skin by sliding if u see what i mean

sorry i know thats not very technical but i hope u understand what i mean, if not feel free to ask more

xx
