Not to rain on your parade... but 18 weeks is really early to be 100% sure! I was told by two different techs on two different u/s over a whole month when I was farther along than you, that I was having a girl (they told me my #2 was a girl too). I even have u/s pics that look EXACTLY like the "genital" white line of a girl. Well as you can see I have all boys. Saying its a girl when its really a boy is the most common way they get it wrong. So just make sure you have a boy name picked out too!


farasha to the group! I don't think many of us had an eating plan written down... we were all over the place as to what we ate. Do not freak out too much about ketosis. If you are puking then you are in it. Its a natural thing. Please do a search on the past threads of the last year and a half and you will see what we all ate!

I am still here. Little man is 8 weeks old today. Time FLIES by! I have lost about 20 pounds. Last two weeks I ate horribly though... my depression is rising. So this week I am trying some new things for that. I keep meaning to update the breastfeeding thread.... arg... will get over to that now I suppose! Just dealing with life... I will have a new website/blog up soon that will chronicle my journey while bf'ing. How is everyone else doing?

Luna-congrats on the 20 lbs. And thanks. Emily is a joy. I cant believe he is already 8 weeks old. Time does fly.

I am crampoing a little today...I have also have my doctors appointment on Thursday. Finally get to go and vent all my concerns. DH wants to pay for an ultrasound is one isnt offered. He really wants to put my mind at ease.

Anyways..I hope you girls are doing well. I have to go and do some dishes...

HI all.....I'm still around and still pregnant! lol! 33 wks now. Meeting w/ the surgeon in a couple weeks to set up the csect date. Going every 2 weeks now for the last month. Everything seems to be going normally (knock on wood) w/ no major complaints. (cept a few painful kicks, lower back ache, sore feet, numbness in my leg a few times, hard to rest, gaining weight, nothing to wear, shoes to small, rings too tight, peeing all the time....LOL!!) HAHA!!

yeah...I'm having "all day sickness" these days!! If I go to the gym in the evening or late afternoon it makes me feel even worse the rest of the night...learned that one the hard way! My biggest problem right now is that I can't stomach much as far as protein so my energy level is WAY down!! Not good when I have two little ones to chase after...but I'm hanging in there.

oh i totally craved spicy when i was preg. w/ my second son...this time around it's chinese food!!! i want it EVERY day!! last night i had steamed mixed veggies w/ chicken...soo good!

Sinnrah- glad you are seeing your doc soon. I bet, with the spotting, he will do a scan. Mine always did- so I had 2 scans a month. Are you getting a civi doc or military?

I'm still bleeding from the cyst (now going on 7 days). The pain is better- just a dull ache now, and I'll take that over PAIN anyday.

Tarrah-I am going to a civi doctor. DH likes for me go to civilians in stead of military. There are really good doctors here but they arent taking anyone else. So, we just went with a civilian doctor.

HI ladies... My name is Sarah and I am a newbie, never posted anywhere at all, so I'm excited to get my first post on here and meet all of you. I am currently pregnant and due July 17th with a girl. I have a son that will be 2 on July 17th. Yes I know exact date, just worked out that way...lol! My husband is a Marine and we are stationed in San Diego. I haven't followed low carb while preggers but want to start right after having her. I have 7 weeks to go til my due date and I have gained 12 lbs. so far, so I am ok with that. Anyway, hope to get to know you all better!

well, i'm still feeling pretty much the same as far as the morning sickness, but trying to keep something on my tummy so maybe that will help...DH gets frustrated w/ me because I am feeling too yuck to eat so then I don't eat and then I feel yuck from not eating...bad cycle

Hey girls. Sorry I've been MIA. I'm down to about 10 weeks! Things are falling together pretty easily though so I'm not stressing too much. We are in the middle of a heat wave though, so I've been hiding out in the A/C as much as possible.

He feels like he is up in my ribs already... I'm hoping he starts dropping sometime soon before my ribs get too beat up! lol

I lost 7 lbs but ended up gaining most of it back this weekend, eating junk. If I can go to the doc Monday for my next appt and weigh the same or less than last month I'll be thrilled.

I'm glad to see everyone else doing "normal"... lol

Howdy ladies,

Just got back from the doctor and I have to say I found a doctor I love. He is the coolest guy ever. He said that he would do an ultrasound and when he did...well, we saw the heartbeat right away. He said my uterus was tilted which would cause some discomfort and possible spotting...but he felt that the baby was in no harm at all.

He did say my uterus was big for me being only 8 weeks....that I maybe be a little futher along. Which is good. But I saw the baby and just had tears in my eyes. I am so happy that everything is ok.


But I got pictures of the baby and will see if I can post some later.
