Morning, ladies
Waiting to O and/or be able to interpret my chart! Janet - I had to laugh when I saw your post from last week. Nice to meet you, I'm the QUEEN of over-thinking everything! QOTW: Jenn - going away (and seperating from the temptation of POAS ) sounds like the perfect way to get ones mind off the 2ww! I'm jealous I'm probably gonna do what Janet's talking about and get my house in order. DH is going away from Thurs to Sun for his best friends bachelor party, so I can clean the place like I wanna w/o worrying about him messing it right back up Also, all us abandoned wives/girlfriends are gonna get together and have our own party TTFN Have a great day/week, ladies! Baby dust to all!

Hello everyone.
Hi everyone. Can I hang with you all for a while? I am in the pre-TTC.
I am "hopefully" doing a frozen embryo transfer in late september. Quicky version of my story. I had a fresh IVF last sept that did not work. My back started hurting and we did not do the frozen not knowing what was wrong. Turned out I have a herniated disk. My husband has laid down the law and said her will not sign the consent for the FET until I lose a minimum of 40lbs. He doesn't want to see me in any more pain than I am now. Theory is since I only gained 25lbs with each of my 2 kids that the 40lb loss will give me room for baby gain and take into account that the wait will be centered in my front and my herniated disc is low back. Hubby put it to me like this: "One of 3 things will happen. 1. you will lose weight, have fet and get pregnant 2. you will lose weight, have fet, not get pregnant, know that your body can't get pregant (my embryos were perfect, but I have had an a and p repair for prolapse bladder/uterus/vagina) and you will be 40lbs lighter and be healthy for a probable hysterectomy (my bladder has fallen again because uterus and bladder adhere together) or 3. You will not lose the weight because apparently you didn't want the fet bad enough, and you are still going to need a hysterectomy eventually. I figure 40lbs by the 1st of september would be 1.9lbs per week. My goal is 159, but 161 is 40lbs. I was 201 on monday and today wed, I was 198. So I am ahead of the game already. That is good because I have to tackle many events in the future, including 7 days at disney world, 3 camping trips ( 1 with family 2 with scouts) and a scout training weekend where they supply the food ( we can't bring our own since we eat what we learn to cook over the weekend). I will probably sneak in a couple carb control shakes to have for breakfast unless it's eggs.) I guess that wasn't so abbreviated. Bunches of babydust to all you gals who are TTC. Katrina |

Katrina!Anyone who's willing to send out massive quantities of baby dust is welcome here, I think We are in a similar situation with our TTC efforts, I'm just not at the IVF phase, yet. My goal is to get off at least 30 lbs before I go back to my OB (in September) so that hopefully I'll just get PG on my own, but if not, I'll be in the best shape possible for the next leg of this journey. I know that my goal is doable, I just have to stay focused right now and not get distracted by the "I want"s that tend to plague me Hope we can give each other some add'l support as we try to lose before we get PG! ![]() |

Hi ladies
I have not posted on your thread before but I have a question I hope maybe someone can answer. My husband and I are TTC #2. We have a 2 year old son. When I was trying to get pregnant last time I used the opks and discovered that I am a late ovulator. So I started using them this time too and again find that I am still a late ovulator. Like for a 28 day cycle I ovulate on day 17 or 18 instead of the "average" of 14. Which wasn't a problem..I conceived my son with the opks once I pinpointed when I ovulated. My current problem...I'm still ovulating about day 17/18 but my luteal phase seems to be shorter now than before. Something like a 26 day cycle. So if I'm ovulating on day 17 and my cycle ends on day 26 that doesn't leave much time for implantation and I'm thinking I need to lengthen my luteal phase. So do any of you use chaste berry? Does anyone know if it would maybe help lengthen my luteal phase? The reading I've done indicates that it could be helpful. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it?? Thanks for any input. I'll post to the pregnant thread too to see if anyone can help. Good luck to all who are TTC Niccole |

Hi!! Hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend! Well, based on some recommendations, I bought the Clearblue Fertility Monitor with 30 testing sticks. I was nervous and excited at the same time. Last night, DH and I went to a late movie and I was trying to set it up since today is Day 1 (new cycle
) I had bought new AAA batteries to go with it to be completely ready for this.Half hour later, I was almost in tears, it wouldn't work! Found some other batteries, tried those, started thinking where is my receipt for this thing, where is the nearest 24 hour store to get more batteries, etc. Finally, my husband came over to investigate. In a mere 60 seconds, he had it working, I put the batteries in the wrong direction! I was so nervous and wrapped up in this, that a simple battery change was getting the best of me. Well, no turning back now!! It's the very official TTC time! Raising a glass of ice water with lemon to all of us!! |
