Periods

Any ladies notice a change in their period since starting a low carb diet? I am about 4 to 5 days late on my period and it’s driving me crazy because I am usually on time.

Low carbing tends to play games with TOM.....
For myself, it helps TOM. I have a condition, called PCOS, and with it, insulin resistant, so therefore, if I'm not eating starches and sugars my body is totally insync...
You are not crazy. Also, any chance you could be preg?
Also, if you have begun to workout, and up till now you were leading a sedentary lifestyle, that too, could play a part.

Yes, it definately has messed me up. I had been regular up until I started the diet and exercising. I've skipped my period for like 5 months. I went to the doctor and she put me on progesterone to get it started again.....but I stilll haven't started.

Just the opposite. I've been regular every month. I usually have to take Provera to make my body start, but not lately. I am a little late this month though. I'm gonna' give it another week before I take any Provera to see if it happens on it's own again.
