Going to the Spa this w/e - anyone done a wrap before for w/l?
I'm treating myself to a body cleansing wrap and a massage at the day spa this w/e. The wrap is supposedly for w/l - I know I may lose an inch or two of water being in it and I know that I will gain it all back after drinking/eating but it's supposedly for the skin to help tighten it up after detoxifing you. Anyone familiar with it and do you know if it works for the skin? I'm excited!!! Any tips/suggestions for before or after?

Oh yeah I know it will come back, I'm just curious if your skin felt tighter afterward? THAT's what I'm more interested in.

I was addicted to these things, wierd I know, when I very first did atkins I was 23 (7/8 years ago) and I tell ya if you keep doing them they will help shrink the skin!!! I enjoyed them to. Take a hot shower before having it to open up your pores and the clay soaks in even more!! I plan on doing them again when I get to my goal again, and before vacation! Have fun!

Oh yeah I forgot to add they suggest not showering with soap for 3 days
!! No it's not that bad, just sponge certain areas with a rag and soap, if you do get in a tub or shower make sure it's very cool water so your pores don't open to much to soon, also limit exercise that will make you sweat and make your pores open up! HTH!! |

I noticed big results after a few wraps, and you are in your bra and undies, if I remember correctly they are around $60

I did a wrap once and honestly, it had absolutely no impact on me--my measurements were exactly the same afterward. Hopefully you'll have a different experience.
Massages on the other hand.... THEY ARE FABULOUS!!! I usually go get one 1-2 times a week. I don't know if you like Las Vegas or not, but if you do, check out the spa at the Wynn--it's one of the nicest I've seen. Have fun! SFC |

Yes! I bought a package maybe 5 years ago....was thinner and in better shape then...BUT...I did see results. I wore a pair of shorts that were too snug. They fit great afterwards, and I believe my cellulite was reduced, too. My skin just felt tighter and smoother. Not sure how long it lasted...but I was going on a vacation to the beach a few days later, and it was worth it to me. Enjoy!
