I think I will leave pg moms up until 44 weeks and then take them off if there has been no word from anyone. I know a bunch of the ladies are not on here anymore. If I take you off but you come back... just let me know and I will add you right back up there! It's nice to know that people had their babies!

AFwife.......... honestly I would call today and see if you could have a blood test done to see if you may have mc'd or if you could be pg. If it shows up all negative I would make an appointment with the gyno and talk to them about the weird periods to see if anything else is going on inside!

You may want to wait on leaving the list until you are not still pissed..........but if you really want to I can take you off!

Sorry I have not been around much lately... I have been dwelling. I did not pass with flying colors on my glucose tolerance test (first time EVER) and have to take the 3 hour one tomorrow. I am also anemic. And they are doing a level 2 ultrasound next week. So I have not been feeling well and been pondering the universe in my head.


I am sending out {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}} and baby dust to all the ladies on the list and to all the ladies lurking.... I hope the new year brings you joy!!!!!!

LUNA {HUGS} I got the "positive" for glucose stuff with ds2 and had to go for the 3 hour test and it came back normal, so hang in there, it might for you too!

AFWife-good 'tude girl! Sorry you are so stressed right now, I like your plan, work on losing weight, try again next month, and let the chips fall where they may. What else can you do? And the next thing you know, you WILL be preggers. That happened for me. You hang in there!

I have my US tomorrow. Am most excited. Baby kicked a lot Christmas Eve and DH got to feel him/her and it was so exciting and wonderful, even though this is our third it was thrilling. For the first time, we are going to try and find out what we are having.... Very excited. I am 21 weeks and could have gone a week or two ago but waited for this week so DH could be with me. The boys are coming too [hope they behave!] and then we will all go to lunch for a nice festive occasion.

Man I REALLY don't want to have to get up early and have my blood drawn 4 times and sit in a office for 3+ hours so all that sugar I drink can make me VERY ill.................ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys. Had a little scare last nite. Had a small amt of brown "old blood" on toilet paper. I'd never had any type of "colored" discharge w/ ds or in this pregnancy so it sure startled me. Smelled yucky too (tmi...sorry). Wore a pantiliner to bed and had nothing on it this morning. After using bathroom, there was still some, but less than last nite (which was not much). Called the dr and he himself called me back (surprised me!) and said not to worry unless it becomes a large amt, becomes bright red or I start cramping. He said it is common from the uterus and placenta really starting to "do their jobs". He said to take it easy for a few days to be safe (which I've been doing since I took the preg. test! LOL!). Anyone else ever have this?

On a lighter note, I was telling my inlaws about my cravings for Chinese food from a wonderful Chinese place in the next town (about 25 mins away). I get home from the grocery store today and guess what's in my fridge????? A big thing of beef lomein and an egg roll!!!

I think I have chosen a boy's name (I'm sure I'll change my mind a million times, but I really like this one)..... Ian Brady....whatcha think? Ds's name is Adam, so Adam and Ian sounds kinda cute. Pondering Bailee or Hannah if it's a girl. Ds didn't have a name chosen until after he was born! Talk about procrastinating! lol!

Shancopp--yes I had a bit of colored discharge around 8 weeks or so...midwife was not concerned. Sure enough, it went away.

Luna--Yuck. That sounds awful. Hopefully this second test will have better results and you'll never have to guzzle that crap again.

Haven't been on in a couple of weeks--I'm just starting to come out of my wiped-out phase. I've been eating more iron-rich foods, and when I go to the MW I will ask about anemia. I work really tough hours (up at 3 am M-F) and while we can't afford for me to go part-time, I think I will work the occasional half-day to just rest up. I think what it was most of all, tho, was something Orphalie said. I had an ENORMOUS growth spurt after Thanksgiving. I think it just took everything out of me. Thanks to all of you that responded. Being my first, I'm just never sure what's normal.

Also, Orphalie, don't know if constipation is still an issue for you, but my prescription prenatal vitamins come with a stool softener in them. They are Cal-Nate (generic for Citrical Prenatal) and so far, I've been fairly regular.

Preggo goals anyone? I am TRYING to exercise. I had every intention of being a very fit mommy to be...but the couch has just felt soooo gooood for the last 4 1/2 months!! So, last week I began stretches and Prenatal Pilates. I think I just feel better knowing I'm taking back a *little* control of this morphing body!!!

Hi everyone! I've gotten a few PMs lately, so I thought I'd drop in and say hello to everyone!

The kiddos are doing just fine. We're still nursing, and its going much better than I thought it would. The funny thing about it: my three year old has been watching his sibs nurse, and asked me if he could try it, though he's been weaned since his 1st birthday. I let him, and he told me afterwards that he didn't know what the big deal was. LOL.

More news.... I might be pregnant again! Not sure yet, but I'm seriously thinking about testing one of these days. *sigh*

I see a LOT of new faces around... congrats to all the mommies to be.

DAYUM! You go girl! I am glad you stopped in as I have been REALLY wondering how everything went for you! I am so proud that you are nursing! Woooohooooo! So when are you going to test? Now we are all going to be in suspense!!!!





Shan.... I was just wondering because sometimes that can be the cause of spotting. Occasionally (TMI WARNING NOW)... a bit of um "hand service" when not feeling good can make your SO happy and keep you close!

Ok, you're making me blush.

I did have the trips in August, and they're doing fine. I haven't had a period since then, I'm guessing mostly due to the overwhelming amount of nursing I've been doing. I've been practicing 'safe' sex on the occasion that I find time to have it - lol - but as they say, nothing is 100% for sure when it comes to BC.

I've been experiencing almost all of the pregnancy symptoms except for morning sickness, but I've never had that before, so it wouldn't surprise me.

So yeah, I think I'll test today, just to put the mind at ease.

Anyone with experience here?

Oh yeah, and I meant to add, Luna, I missed you!

Well not sure what experiance you mean but I was still nursing my toddler when I got pg and did not have regular periods... I also was 4 days away from my IUD when I found out!

But since I did not have regular periods and had baby fever off and on I had gotten into the habit of testing for pg every month to be safe. You can get batches of tests on ebay, the kind they use with a cup at the doctors, pretty cheap.

Its kind of a running joke with my close friends and family that I'm the local "fertile myrtle" because I manage to get pregnant despite precautions. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally excited about it, but at the same time, feeling a little overwhelmed. I'll certainly send some baby dust your way!

Now.... how to tell daddy about the new little peanut. What do you all think? Flowers, singing telegram? Hm?
