Perimenopause Women, How Do You Do It?

Here is my story:
Very Anemic (HGB is 9 on a good day)
Numerous Fibroids (too many to count)
Other bloodwork and stats are great.

For the past 3 weeks, I've felt like crap. No pain. Just tired and slightly woozy and off centered. My doctor says it is likely the anemia, but I've been anemic for a while and never had this happen before.

I NEED RELIEF!

I'm starting a new job in 3 weeks and I can't imagine trying to grasp new things with the fatigue and brain fog. If you've been here before, please tell me how you got through it.

I have a good gynecologist. I had my blood tested last year and found that some of my hormone levels were low. I elected to use bioidentical hormones vs. synthetic hormones, and it made an immediate difference in the way I felt. I also just had a hysterectomy on 11/1. I had a huge fibroid growing on top of my uterus. My gyn gave me literature to read on another method of fibroid removal (can't remember the name of it at the moment) but if your fibroid and uterus are as huge as mine was, it cannot be used. Now, I take estrogen only instead of estrogen and progesterone.

I don't have experience with fibroids.... but hormones yes I do have experience there.

I took the synthetic estrogen and for progesterin I took Prometrium (sp)... felt like crap. Switched to the natural hormones (creams) and wow, what a difference. Within a couple of days I was doing much better.

That is how I am getting thru it....
