prenatal Omega-3 pills on Netrition
Has anyone used these or Coromega or anything like this? I am just curious, because I read an article or two stating that fish oil is good for you , but you have to be careful about most of the fish out there (because of the toxins and mercury) Any opinions or advice? My DH and I are thinking about having another baby pretty soon and I was doing some research. ty in advance

I have been taking ground flax seed every day for the last year or so. I was told when I got pregnant to not take so much. Not sure why. Maybe the same properties in flax that ease PMS symptoms are not a great idea while pg...?
I haven't yet tried the fish oil from netrition that you mentioned, but am very interested in that as well. I did ask my midwife if she thought it was ok. She said yes after the first trimester. Good Luck! |

Look for the enteric coated fish oil capsules -- they dissolve in the intestines, not the stomach, so you don't get "fish burps" or have it coming back on you.
I got the okay from my doc to take fish pills while pregnant, and am continuing now that I'm nursing. |
