Pregnancy and Foreign Travel

Hi Everyone!

Just a question for all of you who might know the answer. My husband and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this October. To celebrate our 10th, we booked a trip in December to Cancun, Mexico (not exactly Cancun, but the Mayan Riviera about 30 min. from Cancun) Last week we found out that we were expecting. I will be in my fourth month when the trip rolls around in December. I was just wondering whether or not it is safe for me to travel to Mexico being four months pregnant. I know that I am o.k. to travel, but was worried about the destination being Mexico.

Any thoughts?

Congrats on your pregnancy, First of let me say Cancun is beautiful, I went there for my honeymoom and loved it.

Anyways DO NOT DRINK THE WATER!!!!! Bring bottled water with you or pay for bottled water! I don't see how the food would cause any problem, I LOVED eating while over there. The food is awesome!
