Thrilled!!!! Now, may I join you?

I've been following a maintainence type plan for the last couple of years. It has made an enormous difference in how I feel physically and mentally.

I've been eavesdropping on you mommies and mommies-to-be for a few months now, hoping to some day join you. I was very excited to learn that there are in fact many women that believe this is a better way of nutrition for you and your baby. People "on the outside" don't seem to get it. I have way too many friends that just gorged on pasta and junk while pregnant. It's never good for you.....Why would it be now?

Sooo, three weeks ago we started trying, and WOW! I'm pregnant! Sooo Happy!! I assumed that, getting ready to turn 37, trying to get pregnant for the first time, it would take a while. I wonder how much was genetics, luck, or this great way of eating the best nutrients that had more to do with it?

All of this said, I wonder how tough it will actually be to stay 'mostly' on plan. I would enjoy hearing from some of you.

Yippeee!!

Thank you ladies for the kind words. I am just so floored.

Re-reading my original post...I hope I didn't come off as insensitive with my "first try and got pregnant." I know there are so many TTC here. I just honestly wondered if this WOE was part of the reason it happened so quickly. I've seen other posts about how LC helped regulate cycles.

Interesting...
