Pregnant or Trying thread for Sept 10-11th

I would like to start a new pg thread. The old one was last done about 13 days ago. I am not looking for any of the past bickering or fighting. I know there are still pg moms on here that would like a thread so I thought I would start anew. I am in no way trying to insult anyone or leave anyone out. I think a weekly thread starting each Sunday night (or early Monday) will be a nice start until we have alot of activity for a daily. I will (or whomever starts) will bump due dates up then and add in the new moms each week. I will also add in who had their babies that month or the month before. Anyone who wants to be in the new thread please let me know... also let me know if things have changed or if you do not want to be on the list! I am also offering this up to the 23 moms over in my old TTC thread that may like to be here too!


Now I would love to hear from the other moms and I HOPE that everyone is doing well! Please let us know if anyone else has had their babies! I have not been on much lately and alot has slipped by so I am not very up to date!

Hi there,

Thanks for starting this up Luna. Maybe the two of us sickies can attempt to keep it going until it catches on. I agree... please no bickering or in-fighting. My last pregnancy I really loved the pregnancy board and I really could use the support. I bled for a few weeks and worried about miscarriage and, thanks to the support of the ladies on here, made it through. Near the end of my pregnancy I had high blood pressure, had a failed induction and an unwanted c-section. Again, the love and support on the pregnancy board kept me going. Please pregnant ladies, join in!!!

I am Nicole and due I guess sometime at the beginning of May. My last period started July 30th, so I need to get a hold of one of those charts somewhere, but I'm guessing May 5th or so. May 11th will be our ten year anniversary. This is a shock because it took ages for me to conceive Bethany, but I got pregnant almost right away this time. The kiddos will be 19 months apart.

I'd like to join . I enjoyed posting on the TTC thread when that was still around.

My name is Maria I've been married for 4 years and I would love to have a baby in my arms before I'm 30, which doesn't leave me much time since I'm turning 30 June 19, 2006. If we somehow manage to get pg this cycle, I'll have my baby around my birthday, which would be an AMAZING gift .

We originally started trying in January, got a BFP but MC in March . We started TTC again in June, but so far no luck. My cycles are all over the place since the MC ranging from 35 days last cycle to 46 days in July, 42 days before that . It's very hard to keep track of when I ovulate, even though I temp and I started using OPK's but I'm having trouble guessing when to start using them and they can get a bit pricy .

My first two children are 19 months apart as well. It really is a nice age difference to have. We started right away on trying for our second child since it took me forever to get pregnant with our first. Now we are expecting our third in May. Lots of women I know that have had problems getting pregnant with their first have had a much easier time getting pregnant with their second. It is almost like the hormones are kicked back into place after a first pregnancy which allows you to get pregnant easier the second time around. It could have been that for me, or it could have been the fact that when I wanted to get pregnant with our second, I started taking thyroid support supplements (since I suspected that I was hypothyroid, which caused the infertility problems with my daughter). I was pregnant with our son within months of trying. Last year I finally hooked up with a doctor that actually believed that I had thyroid issues and was put on Armour Thyroid. Now I am pregnant with number three, without even trying at all (we were going to stop at two, but are being blessed with a third child)

I haven't been to the doctor yet, my first appt with her is on Oct. 4. There is a nice due date calendar on a website called babycenter.com That's where I got my due date from. I am overjoyed with this pregnancy!!! In shock still, but overjoyed!!!

HI! No longer TTC here, have gotten a positive test and believ my due date to be May 5th...

I have 2 boys but had 2 miscarriages before I had them and I am spotting now off and on so I am cautiously optimistic....

Congrats to all who are expecting and hang in there to those TTC! I have had it both ways, forever to get preg, then miscarried then forever to get preg then miscarried and finally, preg again and my first son! So, it CAN happen, even when you are feeling VERY defeated.

FWIW, my second son, we got pregnant right away with him! So it seemed to be true for us that once we had a healthy pregnancy, it was much easier to conceive...

Q: I have had morning sickness this time around, just nausea, not vomiting and the only stuff I want to eat is CARBS! AAAGH.. So much for my fantsies of eating lean proteins, fruits and veggies and the occasional grain... How is everyone else doing with this?

I was a lurker for a long time and was sorry to see the other thread go away.

I am 36 years old and pregnant with my second child....girl. I have a 3.5 year old boy. I am due December 19th. This will be my last pregnancy as it's been a tough one. I had horrible "all day" sickness until around 15 weeks or so. I still have days that wipe me out.

I was doing low carb for a little over a year and lost around 40 pounds.. got sick, gained a little, then got pregnant... I've gained all that weight back. And I'm sure I'll gain some more.

I'm mostly a lurker, but I try to post when I can. It's been pretty busy at work though, so how do I find the time to read but not post? Who knows..

I'm due on 12/10 with a boy, Samuel Thomas. We have a 2nd ultrasound this Friday that I'm really looking forward to. Right now, I'm just sitting here mesmerized by watching him wiggle around all over my belly! :-)
