Ok we are going to a monthly thread without a mom's list as it can change from day to day.

This is a thread to talk about having baby fever, TTC or just plain getting ready to sometime in the future!

A brief list of related abbrieviations:

AF = Aunt Flo (menstruation)

AI =Artificial Insemination

BBT = Basal Body Temperature

BCP = Birth Control Pills

BD = Baby Dance (sex)

BFN = Big Fat Negative (usually with a pregnancy test)

BFP = Big Fat Positive (usually with a pregnancy test)

BMS = Baby Making Sex

CF = Cervical Fluid

CM = Cervical Mucus

D&C = Dilation & Curettage

DPO = Days Post Ovulation

Dx = Diagnosis

ENDO = Endometriosis

EPT = Early Pregnancy Test

FTTA = Fertile Thoughts To All

HPT = Home Pregnancy Test

IF = Infertility

IVF = In Vitro Fertilization

LMP = Last Menstrual Period (start date)

O, OV = Ovulation

OB = Obstetrician

OB/GYN = Obstetrician/Gynecologist

OPK = Ovulation Predictor Kit

OTC = Over The Counter

PCO, PCOD = Polycystic Ovary Disease

PCOS = Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

PG = Pregnant

PID = Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

PMS = Pre-menstrual Syndrome

RE = Reproductive Endocrinologist

Rx = Prescription

TTC = Trying to Conceive

Uncle TOM = Time of the Month (menstruation)

US, u/s = Ultrasound

UTI = Urinary Tract Infection

WBC = White Blood Cells

OK Cool, well I am still in the 2WW, According to OPK I am 11DPO, so I am wondering when and if my AF will make an appearance, waiting was never my strong suit

My mum (who knows I am TTC) brought a little pair of booties...sooo cute ...she couldn't help herself

She brought yellow ones, I told her she might as well resign herself to our fate and buy blue ones . My family always has boys first, there has been no girls born first in ages, and not many girls born at all, I am child number 5 after 4 boys!!!,

I think I miscalculated my ovulation

this time. According to fertilityfriends and my temp chart I ovulated the day my DH broke his foot or somewhere around there

. And not this week like I predicted. So I think I'm out for this month

.

Oh well I'm out too, AF made an appearance, now at least I know my Luteal phase and all that, ah well back to CD1

Hi all, I had my first sonogram today and got to see the heartbeat, it was VERY cool. I didn't get this far with my last pregnancy so it was a big milestone for me. I go back in 5 weeks for another visit, until then I am hoping I can stave the m/s off while at work. Working at a vets sure does bring some interesting smells.

saltire, that must have been amazing to hear the baby's heart beat. How far along are you??? You must be sooo excited!!!!!

Fertility Friends adjusted my oculation date, so now I'm just totally confused. I might still use the OPK starting tomorrow just to see what happens
