I'm going to repost this if no one minds, I should have waited to post it till today in the first place lol!
From yesterday's thread:

I can't believe i'm second from the top of the list! I'm not ready yet! I have apparently dropped, though, according to most people with a nice opinion. I also think I've started losing my mucus plug, no bloody show though. I've had some odd cramps today, and have been kinda nauseated off and on all day. For the past 3 days I've had stronger BH's, and more frequent, and I"ve been drinking tons of water! I don't know what this means, if this is me preparing for labor or what. I don't remember this with dd, so I'm wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom? I have a little over 4 weeks left, so I can't imagine this means anything serious, but I'm a bit nervous.

Luna, thanks for your input. I had heard that nausea sometimes starts right before labor, but I am still 4 weeks away so I thought maybe it was in my head. Not to say that a baby can't come early, but considering my 2nd was 2 weeks late I just never thought that I might be early!

Are we still waiting to hear from Anastasia, or did I miss her birth story along the way? I was hoping to see some pics!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I'm stuck at work again, but only 2 weeks left and i"m outta here for a year

Unless Starfire posted before the site went down... we are all still eagerly awaiting her story!!!!!!

Those two weeks left at work are going to seem like they drag on forever!

We so far guys my main symptoms have been bouts of extreme exhaustion out of nowhere... some dizziness.... some queasiness... and boobs that hurt alot. At least the headache went away!

lol gotta look at the bright side, right? At least the headache is gone! I had the headache at first too, but none since then.

These next 2 weeks will seem long, although I have 4 days off in a row for the first time since May, and those will probably fly by, but my 4 on afterwards will drag. I hope it's busy, even though that means bad things for other people. I'm a 911 dispatcher, and I work shift work, to explain it a bit!

Hi all!

Ok.... birth story time.

I started having contractions in the early morning, kind of off and on, I guess. I called Lara (my OB) to check in. She said to call her when my water broke or my contractions were 7 minutes apart. Also called the best friend, who was my labor coach. Had to interrupt him at work, but he didn't mind. Put in a call to daddy in Hawaii, and he took emergency leave and packed to catch a plane inland.

My water broke a few hours later, and I gave Lara a call. She headed over to the house with her bag of tricks. Contractions were steady, but nothing hurt too much. We had set up an extra large childrens swimming pool indoors, and I settled down in there to take the edge off.

Chris, my labor coach, did an awesome job talking me through the contractions, and he led me in a guided meditation, which we began at the end of transition and kept up through the birth of all three. It was a strange experience, because I was aware of the people around me and what was going on, I also felt totally disconnected. It was like I was floating, and kind of watching everything.

Kai Peter was born at 7:15pm, the exact same time as his daddy called from LAX to check in. He was able to hear his son's first cries over the phone. Kai was 5lbs 6 oz, and was 19 in. in length. Aidan Christopher was born at 7:53pm. He was the quiet one. He was alert and looking around, but he didn't make a whole lot of noise. Aidan weighed 5lbs even, and 21 in. in length. Ciarra was born at 8:43pm. She took a little longer because she had gotten turned, and Lara had to manipulate her into position. She was the smallest of the three, weighing 4lbs 14oz, and 18 inches in length.

Lara had made arrangements to spend the night at the house with me, and we all rested peacefully. The next few days are kind of a blur, but I did manage to get started on breastfeeding. So far I've been doing it exclusively, but that'll depend on how production goes.

Josh arrived 23 hours after I called, so he missed the births, but we did manage to get it on tape for him. He's been a big help around the house, feeding me and the like.

So far, so good - Liam isn't real sure what to think about his new siblings yet, but he's always asking to hold them.

Hope everyone else is doing well, and I'll try to check in when I can.

Dal, it's funny how the time's flying by now. I can't believe it's mid-August already!

Ok, so I can't remember if I posted this, but my c-section has been scheduled for Sept. 19 @ 12:30pm, if I don't have PIH or pre-eclampsia again and end up going sooner.

So I have just over 5 weeks left! My fluid levels were a bit low at one appointment this week, but they did a re-check yesterday and they're fine, so the doc thinks there was fluid that was hidden from the u/s.

In other news, my 19 month old DD has graduated to her "big girl" bed -- a twin mattress on the floor (so she doesn't fall out and hurt herself!

). She's done really well sleeping in it. We needed to get her out of the crib before the baby arrives, so she doesn't feel like we're replacing her or anything.

Gods - talk about time flying! I popped in here to read StarFire's birth story and saw this and got teary. That's my son's birthday - he'll be 19 this year. Of course, my due date was August 28th, if you can believe that. Yep, I had a history of going way late - the only one born near his due date was the last one, and that is likely because I went on a camping trip one month before he was due thinking I probably had at least another 2-3 weeks beyond my due date to go, and walked all over creation.

And yes, I still remember them all like they were yesterday - you really never forget, ladies.

Anastasia - Wonderful story! I'm so glad it went so smoothly for you, too bad daddy wasn't there in time, but he's there to spoil you all now!!

Jenn - it makes it more real when you have an actual date, doesn't it? And congrats to your dd

! It's such a big deal for them when they finally "graduate"! I wish I would have thought about putting my youngest on the mattress on the floor, she spent the first few weeks on the floor anyway! Oh well, you've put the idea in my head for when this one "graduates"! Oh man, I can't believe i'm even thinking about that now!!
