Dar ~ What? You start us up, but you can't say "hello"?!?!

StarFire ~ That is great that you are still around and pregnant. I know you must be very uncomfortable, but the fact that you have kepts those three babies in there for this long is great!!

Daisy ~ I can't believe with your history, your doctor hasn't scheduled something earlier. Try not to stress too much. We are all crossing our fingers for you!

Well, I think we got the last of everything for Sara. Yesterday we picked up a bassinet. DH's aunt was going to lend us hers, but she lent it to someone who is dragging their feet. Normally, I would just hound DH's aunt, we are close, but she found out a couple of weeks ago that she has colon cancer and is going in for surgery this Wednesday - so I don't feel right calling her up with my petty requests - so we broke down and bought one.

I am also freaking - selfishly - that if DH's aunts cancer in not something that is cleared up with this surgery and it is deeper and she needs to do chemo that I am back to square one with the daycare situation. She was supposed to watch Sara for me - and she only wanted $125 a week. So I am a bit nervous that we are going to be stuck without daycare.

Anyway...got my massage on Saturday. OMG...it felt so, so, so good - but it didn't do much for my back pain. Oh well.

Well, busy Monday...YUCK...so I should go. BBL & hope everyone is doing okay!

Amy, I'm glad you got the massage! Did you find a place with a special table, or did you do the pillow thing?

I haven't been for a 'regular' massage yet. I want to go badly, but haven't found the time.

Smart A$$!!

No, no special table. She just had me put a pillow under my head and between my legs and I layed on my side - half way through she had me switch. I was a little dissapointed at first, but it still felt so good. I told DH I have to go back when I can lay on my stomach. LOL

The last couple of days, I feel really weak again. I don't know what it going on. I feel like my legs and arms are wobbly. And I get out of breath really easy. Just walking down the hall at work makes me winded.

Morning All,

Just a drive by to say Hello! Hope everyone is doing fine. I will try and go back and read what I missed. Nothing to report here. We went camping again this weekend. It was nice to get higher up and into cooler air!

Dar-Thanks for getting us started. How is Alison these days?

SmileyAmy-I hope your DH's aunt is OK. When will you find out if the surgery was successfull? Glad you enjoyed your message.

She is wonderful, thank you for asking. She's at the age where she is lots of fun, but doesn't get into any trouble yet. LOL.. she is all giggles all the time, and she recently discovered she has hands, feet, and a tongue. Her favorite game she plays with DH is they stick their tongue out at each other and laugh. It's hysterical. She also likes to be twirled around in the air.. I have a thrill seeker for sure!

I'm so jealous about the camping! DH refuses to go.

Amy, hopefully the cancer is not too bad. I had relatives with colon cancer, and there was no chemo involved, just surgical removal. Rob has skin cancer and has his second surgery on Friday.

Thanks Dar & Jackie...Yeah, I hope DH's aunt is okay. She is still young - 45 - so they hope they caught it in time. Her father had it, so that is why they checked early. She won't have any results until after her surgery. I guess if they go in and it's right on the surface, no chemo involved...obviously, that is what we are hoping for, but if it is deep, chemo will be involved. So, cross your fingers...she has a little 3 year old and a DH who need her.

Dar ~ OMG...does Alison, have that cute, squeely little baby laugh? I love that!! Sorry about DH.

So, I just PM'd the following people, to check in. Hopefully we hear from them. I tried to put when the last time they checked in either on LCF or on the PG Thread, and I PM"d them all this morning. I assume if we don't hear from them in a few days, we should remove them from the list.

brandyxoxo25 - July PG Thread & LCF - PM'd on 7/25

jadefox26 - April PG Thread & LCF - PM'd on 7/25

Karalynne7 - LCF & PG Thread March - PM'd 7/25

jojolw - 6/26/05 LCF - January PG Thread - PM'd 7/25

Yes, it's hysterical! She also has a really hearty laugh, which is funny to hear. She also loves to 'talk'. Sometimes we'll have to pause the tv and just talk with her, because you can't watch tv with a baby babbling in your ear. LOL.. she loves it. She squeals, coos, giggles, "oohs and aahs", etc. I imagine that, now that she's discovered her tongue, we'll hear some new sounds.

So true! I hope your DH's surgery goes well.

Amy-Thanks for taking the time to PM them. Hopefully we will hear from some of them soon.

I have read through the threads I missed:

littlegunshots-Congrats on seeing a heartbeat.

Celia-

Starfire-Its great to hear you doing so well with triplets.

Daisy73-Its hard to be patient. With DS I had absolutely no pregnancy symptoms until I started to feel him move. Don't let that bother you. Your HCG levels are great. Hang in there.

Hi gang,

Feeling really, really tired today. Just moving is so much effort.

Amy, my grandma had colon cancer. All they did was surgery, too. Good luck with that. Maybe you can look into a referral service, just in case? A massage sounds wonderful. I am so sore and tired lately... I'd probably fall asleep!

Jackie, camping sounds like fun! I miss doing things like that. Now that I'm 30 weeks, we're afraid to plan anything for fear of the baby coming early.

Dar, that's so cute about the talking and laughing! I miss that "not able to get into trouble" stage! At almost 19 months, Evelyn is into *everything* and tests her limits with us constantly!

Hi everyone else!

-- Jenn

Hello everyone.

I've been around, but just haven't felt like posting for some reason. Maybe I'm just lazy .

Dar--Thanks for getting us started. Sounds like Alison is growing up fast!

Amy--Glad your massage was nice. I thought DH was going to get me an appointment for one, but apparently he's forgotten . Sorry you are feeling weak today. Are you taking any time off work at all before Sara is born?

Jackie--Camping sounds fun. How hot is it where you live? It's been 95-100 here the last several days.

Jenn--Sorry you are miserable! Hope you can get some good rest soon.

Our AC went out yesterday. I told DH it was really hot in the house, but he just said it was because it was so hot outside. I knew the AC wasn't doing anything, but he didn't believe me. Well, by about 9pm he finally believed me once it was up over 80 in the house. Needless to say, it was a long night. The guy came right out this morning and fixed it though. I cannot wait to go to bed tonight.

I am so grumpy today. Seems like everything is just building up inside of me and I am going to explode soon . DH is on my nerves all the time. I asked him a couple of months ago to replace the dehumidifier in the basement. Well, with the AC off last night, the basement was really smelly and damp this morning. I am going out tonight to buy a darn dehumidifier myself. I've asked several times, and it just isn't a priority for him. These things usually don't bother me too much, but lately it just seems that everything makes me so mad.

Jenn ~ I hear ya on the moving just takes so much effort. My legs/hips are so sore, just walking around is a pain - litterally! Also, at the massage...I wanted to fall asleep so bad, but the lady kept talking! I wanted to tell her to shut up. I am hoping the whole colon cancer thing works out...I have heard that it is one of the more treatable cancers - so we have that in out corner. It's just that you never know.

Louise ~ I understand about DH not doing things I have asked him to do. Luckily, he got the car seat in the weekend, but I think this was the third weekend I have asked him to do it. And regarding everything making you mad...I HEAR YA SISTA!! Some days, just the way DH breaths makes me mad. LOL Don't worry...it's normal. Except, then I feel bad when I yell at him about something and he looks at me like some little kid who just got scolded and says "sorry". Then I feel rotten.

Amy, you should have told her to shut up! My massage therapist talked to me quite a bit the first session, but that's because I kept talking I was so nervous! He told me that if I ever wanted to fall asleep to go ahead, he'd just wake me when I needed to flip! LOL...

Well, I am glad I am not the only one. Unfortunately, I get the "I'll show him" attitude. I also asked for a new watch several months ago as the latch on mine is broken and will come undone several times a day. He told me he'd get me one, then he kept saying he was out of money......finally he told me he'd get me one Saturday. Well, Saturday came and went and he didn't mention it. I didn't ask again because of the money thing....then he went to Lowe's and spent $150 on "guy" stuff. Nothing he NEEDED, just stuff he wanted (tools, etc). I was so mad. He's going to a golf scramble this Saturday and I am going to go buy myself a watch . I have some extra money that I was going to use for maternity clothes, but apparently I am buying a dehumidifier and a new watch instead .

Dar ~ Yeah, I didn't know exactly what was normal. Is it okay to sleep? Do they normally carry on a conversation? She kept asking me about the baby and then she kept wanting to make sure she wasn't hurting me. I guess next time I will mention befoe that I would just like them to shut their trap!

Perhaps because it was your first? He was like that my first time, but for the others he just let me take the lead as far as talking and such. And like I said, I talked alot.

Jenn-Hope you are able to relax today. We camped up until I was 35 weeks along with DS, but I didn't have another one to run after like you do!

Louise-Glad the AC was fixed quickly. I have never heard of a dehumidifier, but our humidity is around 20% most of the time. Our temps are reaching 90-95 (very unusual here). I sometimes feel like such a nag. I hate asking for something to be done twice (don't ask me how I manage to stay sane with a 3 year old )! Enjoy watch shopping. Are you in maternity clothes yet? I am wearing elastic waisted things now but I don't have to dress up much.

Dar-I could never fall asleep in front of a stranger.

Amy-Were you sore from the massage?

It is very humid here. We live right by the Ohio River. I don't know what the % humidity is here, but I know it is high. I did buy some maternity clothes, but I feel silly in them. I have a few pairs of capri pants that have elastic waists and those are about all I wear for now. I am sure the people at work are sick of seeing me in the same things week after week. I am going shopping again this weekend since I think a lot of the summer stuff will be on sale.

Jackie ~ Nope...not sore from the massage. It just felt SO good!! It never hurt once. I didn't get any deep tissue done or anything. It was just very relaxing. I am sure it would help if you just had a sore back due to stress and not some mini human being pressing on your insides. LOL

Louise, where on the Ohio are you? I used to live in Newburgh, a suburb of Evansville. Cute little town. We could hear the barges on the river at night, and there was always the "Thunder on the Ohio" and catfish festivals to look forward to!

LOL, so you know exactly what I was referring to! I liked living there, we only lived there a few years when I was young. Do they still have Thunder on the Ohio?

Even when we moved to St. Louis, we often went back and were at Land Between the Lakes at least every other weekend camping with our boat. My parents still go back.
