Was surprised that he is trying his darndest to roll over but cant seem to get that arm up... he almost on queue demonstrated for him...lol So here are the latest pic...

Hi everyone,

Love all the pictures!

Are those pottys really necessary? Someone gave me this one:

And I think it’s absolutely disgusting! How on earth do you clean it?

Dar, you’ve totally got me craving cobb salad…I think I have everything for it for dinner!

Sherry, good luck at the dentist!

Dawn, congrats on your pregnancy! I’m not sure who it is, but you look soooo familiar to me.

Chelle, hope you’re feeling better. Stress sucks!

Sarah, your Birthday plans sound fun. Sorry about Tanners ear infection—hope he’s all better soon!

Vanessa, I think your tummy looks great! I can’t imagine you’d need a tuck…

Lauren, how do you check cell phone records online?

Melissa, I’ve been wondering about Dena too…

Chels, I’m so sorry you’re having such a rough time. **hugs** Men can be such jerks! Alex’s drinking drives me nuts sometimes—my father is an alcoholic—but at least he does it at home. I hope Payton has a BM soon! I think that can be common in BF babies, because all the nutrients get totally used up, there’s nothing left to poop! Oh my gosh, that is the cutest little hat! Where’d you find it?

Emily, Riley is sooooo cute! So’s the Birthday Girl! I probably would have made hubby take a cab to the resturant....you’re awesome, packing everything up to go get him!

Cecilia, good job vibes for your hubby!

BBL to whine about my marriage….

Some recent pics:

"What IS all this stuff!?"

ADORABLE PICS!!!

Chelsea

I'm not gonna whine about marriages...still working out things here. I'm hoping having Thurs/Fri off will help give us some time to "reconnect". Dar, I'm starting to understand more of what you go through physically in your marriage and I honestly do not see how you do it...you have my respect for understanding the situation and finding a way to deal with it.

Elana has been cranky as sin at night. I really don't know if it's her teething or her ear since she's now on meds. She hasn't slept through the night again in about a week and fights going to sleep something terribly.

Weight is still up 2 lbs. over sig but I'll take it seeing how crappy I've done since Saturday. I seriously need to get my stress level in check and stop abusing myself with food...even if it isn't major amounts, it's still not healthy!

Have a great day ladies!

Chels- Big hugs to you...I hope everything gets back to normal soon!!! I love the pics soooooooo cute!!!! And little man needs to poop!!! HA

Vanessa- My tummy looks the same except add about 20 lbs!!! I am not sure if all of my ripples will go away, I am afraid mine will just sag I think it depends on your skins elasticity if it will bounce back Braden just turned three the end of last month.....yikes, I truely believe the 3's are worse than the 2's!!

Martha- What a cutie pie!! Love the pics!!

Chelle- Hope you have a great day!!! I think it will be great to have some time off together so you guys can talk!!! Lowering the stress is always good. Sometimes babies go thru those stages of being cranky and awake at night....hopefully she will get her routine back SOON!!! Suround yourself with good food today!!!

Well, I guess I should go start on my list that has been sitting on the counter for a few days!!! I also need to call and try to find a sitter for Saturday night, we have friends that invited is to go see Stevie Nicks.....so that should be pretty fun, if I can find a sitter!!!! I will check back in later!!

Girls, popping in really quick to post my questions I meant to post yesterday, then I'll go back and check up when I have a moment free. It's good to see Chels posted... looking forward to catching up.

Regarding day care, I'm having tiny panic attacks all of the sudden.. and she won't even start for over a month!!

I know I need to take her formula and her diapers for her. I guess I need to find something to put her name on her bottles. And they have drawers for each child in dressers.. what should I bring for her? Extra clothes, probably. Not sure what else besides the diapers and wipes.

I didn't even ask if they have a microwave for her food, but I know they have a kitchen so they must. I plan on making her food, and I didn't even think how that would go with daycare.

And my biggest freakout, and I don't know why.. you are all going to laugh at me, I know... but she loves to be talked to and hold 'conversations'. She gets cranky if she's ignored sometimes when she's in the mood to talk. Will they take the time to do this with her? She has a schedule, will they follow it or change it?

I guess I'm just freaking out because if I can't get MIL to feed her properly (she NEEDS to be burped because she's such a horrible sucker), can I trust them to do it? I know... I know... breathe in, breathe out...

Ate on plan yesterday, menu set for today, weigh in was today.. bbl...

Good morning girlies.

Was busy working yesterday so I couldn't check in, imagine that!

Chels~ I am very torn about your story as it brings back some not so nice memories of my first marriage. But no one knows your husband as well as you do. Your wants and needs are going to be different from every body here. As long as you are happy with where things are going, then I am happy. I just worry about you alone so much with a baby. As mommies, we all need breaks to help save our sanity.

Hey Dar~

I can give you my experiences with my daycare if it will help. Ask away.

Get to know them. He has one main teacher that is pretty much there the entire time he is and a couple that do the afternoon shift. I went by 3 times (unannounced) before his first day. I had a list of questions each time and I really got to know the main girl in the infant room. I stayed about an hour each time and observed how they were with the babies. Because Murphy goes on days that DH works until 6:30pm, there is no hurry for me to rush home. So I usually am in the room at least 10 minutes when I pick him up before we leave. Sometimes, as much as a half an hour. It gives me a feel for how the teachers interact with the babies. I play with him and talk to the teachers and get "advice" from them. I don't want to come across as one of these mothers who thinks she knows it all. Just kind of a feel good type of chit chat.

I would think that you can make requests. I have worked with the main girl for the last 5 months. We discuss his day, things that work, things that don't, what I want fed to him and when, how much, etc. They also provide a daily worksheet on him that tells me when he ate, when he slept, and how many poops he had.

I provide diapers, wipes, breastmilk and food. I can send a bulk amount of food and let them decide what to feed him everyday, but I prefer to pick it out. I put the milk in their little frig and his daily food on his self. Just learn their system, work with it, and request them to tweak it to suit Allison's needs.

My daycare will feed him breakfast when he gets older. I see the little ones eating cold cereal for breakfast and even saw one this morning eating powdered donuts . Now, I have suspicions that he brought those and that the daycare didn't provide them. But I am sure if I wanted to send him a different breakfast such as oatmeal or scrambled eggs, I could. They are very flexible.

ETA: the infant room at my daycare realizes that everybaby has his/her own schedule and they don't try to put them all on the same schedule. I tell his teacher every morning when he last ate and she plans his first bottle for 2 hours after that. We discuss things everyday.

Oh, and calll all you want those first few days/weeks. I think what makes me okay with daycare is that I stay very involved in his eating/development/routine and of course that HUGE smile I get when I pick him up and he recognizes mommy. Awwwww....

Morning ladies... Man, I don't know what it is (or who, I guess), but I have been waking up at 7:30 every day, and Eli sleeps until 8 or 9. What's up with that? And to top it off, I actually have the URGE to get up!! (remember I work 2nd shift, so I should be tired!). I just don't get it...

Ok, I'm going to make you all jog your memories... when was your first OB appt? I called yesterday, and they said they can't get me in until 11 weeks . That sucks... I was hoping it would be in a couple weeks.

Chels... So glad to have you back (like I should talk ). Honestly, it seems to me like you are handling things very well. I think I would have had a nervous breakdown if Jason was missing all day or all night. He seems to be making an effort though? Great pics!

Martha... Nice to "meet" ya! Thanks for the congrats... I hope I remind you of someone good looking!!

Chelle... Aw, poor little kiddo.. I know sleep was not good at all with Eli's ear infections. Teething makes him a CRAB during the day, but never has affected his sleep...

Beth... I love Stevie Nicks!! Have a great time!!!

Dar... Can't help ya on the day care issue... but I can totally understand (and I'm sure most other moms on here can!). I would be a basketcase also!

Kjen... What.. you busy??!! Is Murphy back to his good sleeping habits?

Vanessa... Your tummy looks just like mine.. although I think we've talked about that before. I say just keep what doin' what you're doing!

Dierdre... Saw you snuck in last night... how are you doing?? We haven't seen pics of you and Audrey in AGES!!! (hint, hint)

Lauren... Any news for us?

One night over the weekend he slept from 8pm - 4:30am. It is pretty much hit and miss, but he is consistently going 4 hours before waking up. Sometimes he nurses once, sometimes twice, and every once in a while, three times before 6am. It really all depends how well or how much eats during the day. His nursing attn span is slowly getting better. But since he sleeps with us after his first waking, I am sleeping, happy, and don't really notice how many times he nurses. Progress is being made, so I have no fear that we will get the sleeping through the night down soon.

How's Eli doing? What time does he go to bed?

Ok, just breezed through trying to at least get caught up. Sorry I can't make personals to everyone, though. I really need to get back to work.

Chels, I'm glad that everyone is safe and you are working through it.

Emily, looks like you guys had fun, even though it was a delayed start!

Chelle, oddly enough, I was thinking about you this morning. I was wondering if perhaps doing the m/e fast, then going back to induction, then back again, is leading to you sabotaging yourself? I know work and home life is stressful, but by jumping around, you seem to be cheating alot more than you used to. Could seeing the quick loss be creating the mentality of either "I can just fast and get back to it" or "I lost weight so quickly, I deserve this"?? I just wonder if you should go back to induction (or whatever plan you were on) for a while.. stick with it for a few weeks. Instead of this yo-yo'ing you are doing.

Just my thoughts, hopefully you don't hate me.

Jen, thanks for the insight and advice. My friend Dani takes her son to the same daycare and they love it. We are taking Alison there two days before she really has to be, so we can spend some time getting her and us acclimated to how they do things and tweak it. I'm sure it will be fine, just scary!

Ok, on to me...

Weigh in day was today.. 172! I'm down another pound (well, actually, I was up three pounds last week, so down four from last week ).

Meal plan today:
B- hb egg
L- roast beef/romaine/swiss roll ups
D- steak, sea scallops, salad
Snacks - string cheese, BG blueberry cheesecake if DH hasn't eaten it all...
haven't plugged it into FitDay yet.

FitDay totals yesterday: 1390 cals, 17 net carbs

BBL!

Hey, Dawn, my first OB appointment was at 6 weeks, HOWEVER, it was originally scheduled as a follow-up to see if the Provera and Clomid worked. Um, it did. It had been scheduled before I was pregnant. So, I just kept the appt. but changed it's purpose.

Hey girls... Speaking of sleeping... Ezra went down at 10 last night... I usually don't put him down until I'm ready to sleep. Anyway... Woke him up at 1am to eat, then he slept until 8am!!! LOL!

MARTHA - I hear ya on the hubby/dad drinking issue. My dad drank a lot, and was either violent or overly sloppy when drunk... I hated it. So, Hank drinks a few beers after work (at home) most nights, and I can get b*tchy about it at times. And I've told him why. He doens't get drunk, and when he's serious about dieting, he ditches them completely, but still... I have some major issues with the drinking.

I just found out that Hank took off Fri - Tues. YAY! I actually have some time with my husband! Of course, Monday and Tuesday will be at his mom's, but that's fine too... Gives me rest from cleaning. LOL! The only downside is I'll be stuck in a room for a part of the day nursing w/no computer (like now - HA HA!) to keep me occupied.

DAWN - That used to be the norm, I remember... No appt., until around 3 months. Now it's usually different, but you'll be fine... Just don't let the waiting kill you! LOL!

OH DAR... Day care tips... I used to work in an infant room. It was my first job.

They might change her shedule, but if they do, make sure it's gradual.

Go to visit beforehand... Unannounced.

If they have a camera in the room, watch it for a while. Those are awesome for being able to watch what's going on w/o disruping your child. I hated it when parents would visit the older ones with separation anxiety. It would just make it even rougher for the baby and us. Although, some didn't care.

They should be able to handle the baby food just fine... Just put instructions in writing... Just in case.

Dawn~forgot to answer. My first OB appt was at 6 weeks. But I think they might make you wait a little longer when you've already had one. I think I would be fine with that. I just always thought it was a pain to go sit in a waiting room just to have my bp taken, pee in a cup, etc. Just remember to get your prenates.

Hi everyone! Checking in early in case my afternoon gets really busy. My oldest - Meg who is 12 is going over to my sister's todayto help with her new baby cousin. Meg is so excited about it and it will be good to give her a little separation from her sister.

Dar - I am having the same anxieties as you. Elizabeth will start next month too. She loves being held and I am worried she will just cry and cry because I know they won't have the time to hold her all the time like I do. She loves attention! I hope they won't resent her! But I am starting gradual too. She starts August 8th and that week is just a "get your classroom ready week" so I have some freedom to not leave her there too long to get her adjusted to that schedule. They told me that they will keep her on whatever schedule I have her on - but that usually the babies ended up scheduling to each other...we'll see!

KJen - I am glad Murphy is making progress. i remember doing that with Christian - I'd always bring him to bed with me when he would wake up to nurse and eventually he did get there!!

Jenn - You are so lucky! I wish my DH would take some time off to spend with us. He is actually so busy this summer. But I can't complain - he works like crazy in the summer while he can. During the school year he is great about helping me get the kids ready in the am and he will be the one taking Elizabeth to day care since he knows that would be hard for me!

Dawn - Congrats again!! My dr. doesn't schedule her initial appts until 11-12 weeks - but she will let her patients come in around week 8 or 9 for an early "confirmation" sonogram. Maybe your dr. will do that for you? I hope so - I know how nerve wracking those first few weeks can be.

Beth - Stevie Nicks concert sounds like fun! Get a babysitter and have fun!

Martha - That potty does look like it would be hard to clean. I haven't found an easy one yet - the one we used with Anna was one that had a separate "bowl" and then you only had to clean that. I am not looking forward to starting the process with Christian.

Chelle - Glad to hear that you have Thurs/Fri off to work things out. Time always makes the difference with us.

Chels - Those pics are so cute!! Where did you find that hat? I'll need to get one for my new nephews next year!!

See you guys later!

Sherry

Thanks for the responses ladies... I just actually got off the phone with the nurse. They are getting me in a week earlier (they are SUPER busy), so that'll put me at 10 weeks. I'm just one of those that doesn't really believe it is real until a Dr tells me, or I hear a heartbeat, and even then I'm sometimes in denial! They are also going to do a Level 2 Ultrasound at the hospital at 18 weeks, because there is a slight chance I was on my back medications when I conceived. All of the meds she said were somewhat ok to take when preggo, but just for peace of mind. What does the Level 2 mean?

Kjen... Those are great stretches of sleeping! I'm glad co-sleeping is working for you guys.. enjoy it! Eli goes to bed a little later, usually between 9 and 9:30, but also sleeps in til between 8 and 9.

Jen... I know, I'm SO impatient! Good for little Ezra on the sleeping issue too!!

Good morning ladies. Weight still the same, since I had a carb up day yesterday. Today will be carb down. My brother came yesterday to get the car (they bought Jared's car) and Alexis went back with him to stay with Delece (My MIL) since I will be going there on Thursday. She is so darned independent! She gets in the car, gives me a hug and kiss, says I love you..and then says, "Okay, you can go now!" WAHHHHHHHHH...My baby is so big!

Okay, I need you all's help today, seriously. I have going to have my haircut and highlighted today..but I don't know how I want it cut. Could you all look at my avatar and show me some suggestions??

Chels-Love the pics!!

Chelle-*hugs*I know all about self sabotaging...you can do it, girl. Just remember how good it felt to see that lower number on the scale!!

Dar-I can't imagine doing daycare, but I agree with the suggestions from others!! Is Rob going back to work?? Congrats on the 1 lb. down!!

Emily-Great pics last night!! Thanks for the words. I believe every marriage has it's difficulties...!!

KJen-Hi!!

Dawn-I always had all of my app. by 9 weeks! I'm sure everything will be fine though...it will just be hard to wait. I never really "felt" pregnant til I saw that lil peanut on the ultrasound and beating heart!!

Cecilia-Hey, girl, saw you posted last night. Prayers for your DH about the job!!

Beth (did I ever tell you that's my mom's name??)- Anyway, Alexis has been this way from the beginning. Very demanding and wanting everything done her way. It is very frustrating at times! Just find what works for you all, Braden will get better as long as you are consistent with what works!! Hope you can find a babysitter!!

Jen-Hola!! It is so very hard having hubby gone so much with little ones close together. I SO feel for you!! Has Allison left to go to her dad's yet?? Does Devon come spend a month in the summer with you all??

Martha-Great pics!! He is sooooooooo cute!!

Hi ladies...I really hope you don't mind me popping in here lately. It's just that some of my favorite mommies are in here now.

Chelsea ~ Sorry you had to go through all of that. Rob (my DH) is a total follower too. And, to top it all off, he looses track of time so easily. Don't know why...always been like that. Pisses me off sometimes. Glad things seem to be a bit better with you and DH. Just watch your back and do what you need to for you and Payton. And on a side note...how is Black Cloud!?!?! It never came to my area in full release, so I didn't get to see it.

Okay...to all you mommies, I decided after my couple of false alarms, I really should start getting a suitcase together. This is what I have so far:
Pads
Two nightshirts
Robe
Slippers
Toiletries - razors, shaving cream, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, baby powder, hairspray, makeup, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, chapstick, deodorant
Sara's going home outfit
Journal & Pen
Hard candy
Nursing pads
Undies
Socks

Am I missing anything?? I think I am going to pack some playing cards and a book and get some toiletries for DH too.

Oh, last night, we are laying in bed a little after midnight and all the sudden we heard a huge "THUNK." Couldn't figure out what it was. Jared goes out to leave to go to work this morning and sees the garbage can is knocked over! WTH?? Well, there is a broken rearview mirror next to it! Someone hit our garbage can (it isn't usually down where it was last night, only on Tuesday nights for Wednesday pickups), broke their review mirror off, and didn't even bother to pick it up! Serves em right!

Amy, you may want to add in anything to help you labor, such as photos, comforting item, focal point, or massager? I don't know what else. It's looking okay to me. I didn't use a whole lot. I brought books but never read anything. And I didn't use any of the pads or undies I brought. I used the hospitals. And I wore my hospital nightgowns the whole time.
