3rd Time's a Charm? Asking for good wishes

Hi everyone. I'm a lurker mostly. I was hoping for some good vibes, prayers, ANYTHING to help me along. Just found out I'm pregnant a couple days ago. Only about four or five weeks along from my calculations. I've had two prior miscarriages.

I want this baby SO badly. I keep getting emotional thinking I may end up losing this one too. Both times before, the fetus wasn't viable. No heart beat. I'm trying to be optimistic, but at the same time prepare just in case... How does one do that?! It's really hard. Well here come the tears again. I've been crying off and on for three days... Darn mood swings.

Anyone else had a couple miscarriages and then a healthy pregnancy? Reading your stories would make me feel better. Any encouragment or support from you all would be most appreciated. Thanks so much.

Celia, sending lots of good wishes for a sticky baby.

There are several moms on LCF who have miscarried then carried healthy babies to term.

Oh and yes I have mc'd and went on to have two babies.

Did they ever run any tests when you mc'd to see if there was a reason they could find?

Hi,

I know just what you're going through.

I had two mc's followed by a great pregnancy and a wonderful little boy! You just have to keep your thoughts positive and remember that this is a different pregnancy, just because you mc'd before doesn't mean you will again!
