Morning Mommies!!!!!

Meat/Egg Fast Weight Stats
Monday: 278
Tuesday: 277
Wednesday: 273
Thursday: 271

Total as of today: 7 lbs.!!

Appetite is definitely affected...not so sure I'm in ketosis tho, but I've never been one to show it on a ketostick. I've decided to go through Friday then add in some salad/veggies over weekend.

As you see on my sig, I only claimed 273 and hopefully will claim 271 tomorrow. This is literally the lowest I've seen on the scale for over 10 years!!

How'd you do Emily?? Are you stopping or going on?

Well, Elana slept from around 7:30 until *looks at watch* well, she's STILL sleeping!! This growth spurt must be tuckering her out.

OK ladies...have a great day. Chelsea, hopefully the drama is over and whoever was sending the emails will now be forced to step away from the box and get some fresh air and a life! Glad you're back

Morning Girls~

Chelle~ You are so awesome!!! 7 lbs!!!
I'm gonna go ahead & continue through tomorrow, & then I'll re-asses. Since it's a holiday weekend, I don't know if we'll be traveling, & if we do, it's easier to eat salads. Plus, I'm really looking forward to a salad! Yay, Elana! So she didn't wake up last night at all?

Here's my meat/egg fast stats for the week so far:
Mon - 216.4
Tue - 213
Wed - 210.8
Thu - 210.0
Total - 6.4 lbs lost!

I'm not sure of a menu yet today. I'll post one later.

Morning Chelle~ WTG on the losses!!! That's awesome. Congrats on Elana sleeping!

Murphy slept from 9pm - 2am. We are back to going in the right direction. He was a monster at daycare. They were only able to get him to take 3 bottles and they had to fight to do that . So I nursed him right when we got home, he took a nap, and then I nursed him again (taking advantage that he eats better when sleepy). I guess that helped. I just have to be careful because when he falls asleep on the breast he "nips" me with his teeth. (Dar....just when you think you have them figured out, they pull something new on ya ).

Loved all the pics from last night!!!

Morning!!! I'm on vacation, so I'll be sporadic probably in the afternoon/evening at least today as I'm not sure what our plans are with Andrew's best friend and his wife.

Wow, that was fun last night!!! I didn't get any cleaning done, but got a lot of chatting in!

Chels- I am so glad that you will be able to chat some more. I reread what you posted yesterday and don't think anything was offensive.

Dena- Are you okay hun? If you are lurking just pop in to say that you are okay.

Hi Kiwi!!

Welcome new people! I'm Melissa, mommie to (almost) 14 month old Hunter.

Emily/Chelle- GOOD JOB!!!

KJen- I love your pictures from last night also!!! Glad that Murphy is getting onto a nice sleeping schedule. Just so you don't worry, Hunter went thru a phase that he wouldn't eat, so maybe you are going to the same sort of phase. I had to fight to convince him that he was hungry and when he decided I was right, man he would eat.

Mornin' Ladies,

Drumroll please!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +

I tested last night and it was super faint, dark + this morning. I'm vascillating between ecstatic (I'm going to have another baby. Sophie will have a sibling!) to Good Heavens, what have I done (Can I take care of two little ones? Am I crazy? And if not will I go crazy with two under 2?!)

Seriuosly though, I'm so happy.

I've gotta go over to my mom's later (nonchalantly, so she doesn't suspect) and tell her the news.

chelle--You're doing so awesome!!! I remember when you had a reevaluation period with yourself recently. Must've worked!

blueeyes--You're on a roll! Dontcha love the meat/egg thing? It has always worked well for me too.

kjen--Ahhhhhhhhhh, sleep. I could write many an ode to sleeping, beds, and all things regarding slumber. Glad you got some.

melissa--vacation?! where? or just a vacation from working? I haven't been too good with keeping up lately. have fun!

CONGRATS HOLLY!!!! WHOOO-HOOOO!!!

Hey Melissa~ It has been hard with the feedings now that Murphy doesn't cry to eat anymore. Thankfully I have a very understanding daycare teacher. She and I talk alot and realize that we almost have to make a schedule for Murphy each day to get in what we think is an appropriate amount of food.

I read on kellymom dot com that it is very common for breastfed babies to be very distracted at this age. They will only eat what they need to keep the hunger pangs at bay and then will nurse all night to make up for it. While I hate that he is doing this, at least my "not getting enough to eat" theory has been validated. And this too shall pass.

WOOO HOOOO!!!!!!! Congrats!!! How exciting!

And congrats to Chelle and Emily.. the incredible shrinking women!

Melissa, have a relaxing vacation!

Jen, that's awesome he slept well last night! I hope it continues.

Sorry I missed out on all the fun last night. Alison was awake all evening, but finally went down at 10. She was STILL asleep when I left the house at 7:30. Must be nice!

My stats from yesterday: 1341 cals, 14 net carbs

Plan today:
B- hb egg
S- string cheese
L- tuna w/ mayo, egg, celery
S- celery w/ cream cheese
D- pork chop, veggie, maybe a salad

All of that totals to: 1223 cals, 14 net carbs. That leaves me some room for some LC ice cream if I feel like it.

If I can remember tonight, I'll upload some pics of me when I was younger. It's a scary sight. I have some that my mother sent me when I was a baby, and I see some of me in Alison when I look at those pics. I scanned them and they are on the desktop (I usually play on the laptop at night).

Here's a couple that aren't too old...
our engagement picture, I believe this is fall 1998 so I was 24:

and this was fall 2001, I was 27.. come to think of it, this is probably the best before picture of me (although you can't see my tush).. I probably was at my heaviest:

Huh, at least you had some sun yesterday! It rained all evening and night. Yuck.

QOTD!.... We had not bought a bumper because we kind of thought they were frivolous and weren't sure if we'd really need it. Especially when Alison was smaller, she wasn't mobile to warrant it. Well, you guys remember the picture I posted a few days ago where she had turned herself 180 degrees in her crib? Pretty much every night, she spins herself around at least 90 degrees. This morning, her feet were banging the rails of the crib. I'm wondering if I need to invest in a bumper? She doesn't seem to mind it, but I'm afraid there will be a day when she'll get a foot stuck. She's just such a wiggle worm.

Dar- We actually had to take our bumper pad off because Hunter would stick himself underneath it and wake himself up because he was stuck and frightened...me too because I was paraniod about SIDS (note, he didn't get anything in his crib with him, blanket, stuffed animals, etc until he was 1 years old).

Morning All!!

I'm feeling pretty crappy today. I got a head cold and a runny nose. I think from DH. I feel lousy and very weak. I hit my head climbing into the truck this morning. I swear to God I blacked out for a second. I just closed my eyes all the way to work.

Now that I'm at work I would love to take a nap. I have this conference call at sometime today and I have a lunch date with a high school friend at 1pm. Don't worry it's a woman. But I may have to cancel because I don't know what time the call is.

I am so looking forward to tommorow. To sleep late and then get up and clean my house. During the week, I have no time between fixing meals and bottles and taking care of husband and baby there's no room for house cleaning in the evening after work. On the weekends, when Calyse and I are home alone it's even worse. She doesn't give me a minute to do anything she's always 1 step behind me. I feel so bad when I bump into her and she falls. So Calyse will be at my mother's and Ev and I are going to clean every room in our house.

It turns out Dh's mother, brother and sister will be coming for the party. So there's is no way in hell they are coming to my house and it's untidy. That's just more fuel for the fire.

Menu

Breakfast ~ 1 HB Egg and crab salad
Lunch ~ Dont' know yet
Dinner ~ Don't know yet.
Exercise ~ No yet.

I did get in the 1 mile last night. No change on the scale though. I'm going to try to do 2 miles tonight. If I feel up to it. I know there will be plenty of calories burning tomorrow.

Michelle & Emily ~ You guys are doing sucha great job!

Trolly ~ Congrats!!!

Cynthia ~ Hi Girl!!

I big big(((( wave))))) to everyone else.

Yeah, Melissa, I remember you telling me that. That's why I wonder if it's worth the expense. What if she hates it?

I had been putting a blanket over her legs at night, but now that she's doing all this movement, I'm putting her in a sleep sack. It seems to work well.. it moves with her and her tootsies don't get cold (I think our house is SOOO cold). At least until she can turn over, I'll just do that.

Aw Colleen, I hope you feel better soon

Cynthia- big hugs to you. I am sure the funeral was terribly, terribly hard on everyone
How are you feeling now?
Missing Brice badly too I am sure

Dar- I don't like the way the crib looks without a bumper, plus Katie smacks her head on the railing w/out one.

Dar- If you want a bumper pad, but are paraniod like I am, you could get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...559626-9842204

Tracy- Yeah, I loved the way his crib looked with the bumper, but he just could never figure out how to keep his head out from under it.
