Morning Ladies,

I hope I didn't miss any updates that needed to be made!

Maybe jehcekah is holding her precious baby boy?!?!?

Daisy73-I wanted to answer the question you asked yesterday. I conceived on the first month with DS and this pregnancy took us 8 months to conceive. It is hard to see the months pass by with no results. Hang in there. I second the suggestion many made yesterday of charting. You learn a lot about your body that way. Best of Luck!

I have a very busy day today. We are leaving on a one week camping trip tomorrow and I have lots of packing to do. I will be back to check in.

Have a Great Day!

Moring ladies...

No time for personals. Haveing a really BAD day at work. My regular client account manager is out this week and I took that into consideration yesterday when I called it, but there was no way I was going to function. It isn't like him being out meant that my regular backup and his backup wouldn't be able to cover for me, it just makes it a bit more of a PITA. But doable...I have been in the situation myself. When I called in, I left specific instructions on what was pending and what needed to be done, but apparently the manager I left the message with - not my usual manager since he is out for an operation - didn't give the message to the people I work with, so I got my A$$ reamed for leaving them to cover for me!! She isn't even a manager...WTH. She made me so mad and accused me of not telling them what was pending. When I told her that I did, she gave me this look and said "Listen! We could fight about this all day, the point is..." Then she told me she wanted me to leave a list every night of all my pending items. I have never heard of this...everyone is supposed to leave pending items in their inbins. I kinda walked away, cooled off and then send her an e-mail:

Sorry you are upset about yesterday. I understand that it was difficult on you and Kristin and I took that into account when I made the final decision to call in, but in all fairness, I did list out for Carla everything that I had pending from Monday - at least what was at my desk when I left at 3:30. I even went so far as to list the pull requests that were done and what needed to be done with them. If she didn't relay that message to you, I am sorry. And if I mistakenly left Timber off the list of pending things, I apologize, but everything that was pending when I left Monday at 3:30 was in my in bin where I leave things every night when I leave so that if I were to be out, they are easily found. And, with regards to Payroll Transmittals, although it's a pain, it isn't difficult to find out if any came in yesterday, you just have to look in the public queue.

As I said, I understand it was difficult, I have been left in those positions before too, but I was sick and I called in and I left as much information as I could.

Sorry for any inconvenience that I may have caused.

Also, I don't think a list is necessary...I did however make some additional folders in my inbin to try and make it easier to see what is pending.

For future reference, anything pending is always put in my inbin at the end of the day.

Know you all probably don't care...but just needed to vent.

I will try to BBL.

Sorry about work Amy. Sometimes things just go crazy. Especially in the summertime. No one really wants to be at work and they take it out on others. Hang in there. Not too much longer now and you will have a nice little vacation.

Hey Jackie!

On the TTC question. I tried for 3 months with DS#1, tried 1 month with DD and didn't try for DS#2. LOL I guess I'm really fertile. LOL

Amy sorry to hear that work is so bad. How nice of them to pile on stress when you just returned from being sick! Good grief.

Jackie, have fun camping! I hope any nausea doesn't ruin your good time!

Becca, hope things are going well with Luke and your other 2!

Things are great here. Baby is moving lots now which is really cool. We are headed into the holiday weekend under a ton of rain! I can't believe how hard it's raining right now, sigh, but they promise it will clear by tomorrow so lets hope so.

Good morning, ladies!

Jackie, thanks for starting us off. Lucky you, going camping! I can't wait until our vacation in August. I hope I am not too big & uncomfortable to have fun by then. Are you doing tent camping or "car camping"?

Amy, sorry to hear about your unreasonable coworker. I remember those days from working in the corporate world. I would always gladly cover for people when they were out, but gosh forbid they had to help one of my customers when I was out! I usually just assumed that nothing would get done when I was gone, unfortunately.

I had a miserable night of sleep. I was gagging really bad from heartburn for hours. I feel yucky today, all achy, like I didn't sleep at all. DH was very sweet about it. I took a dose of Omega-3 after dinner. It is supposed to be good for the baby's brain development. But, it tends to upset my stomach, very frustrating!

Here's some info on it: Omega-3 Essential for Baby's Brain

Has anyone else had any luck taking this?

Amy-Sorry about your work situation. I think you handled it well. Are you feeling better today?

Becca-Good to see you.

vjfreddi-I hope the weather clears up. That sucks!

Grace-We are actually horse-trailer camping. Our trailer has living quarters in the front (much like a small camper). We will spend the week with friends of ours riding in the mountains south of where we live. Sorry your heartburn is so bad. Are you taking anything to prevent it on a regular basis? I am taking a DHA supplement with my prenatal vitamin, but it doesn't give me any problems.

I forgot to tell you all that I had my second OB appointment yesterday. He was able to find a heartbeat. All week DS has been telling me that I have "two in there". After hearing that for a week you can't help but wonder (and worry). Luckily only two heartbeats were found, mine and the babys! Whew! I cried after we left the appointment because the weight in shocked me. I got on the scale when I got home and it read the same as the OBs. This morning it was not quite as bad. I attribute yesterdays number to the fact that I had a huge lunch and about 2 liters of water about an hour before my appointment. Its just hard to see the scale go up after working so hard to get the weight off. Considering I'm preggo, I should probably get over that.

Hello, Ladies!

Jackie-Camping sounds wonderful! I am so jealous that you heard the heartbeeat . DH and I were just talking at lunch that July 18th seems SO far away (our next appointment). I am sure it was a huge relief to finally hear it.

Amy--I am so sorry about work . Every little thing at work sets me off. In fact, I just spent my entire lunch hour with DH ******ing about work .

vjfreddi--It is so cool that you can feel the baby regularly now. I can't wait for that! I hope you don't get rained on. You can send some my way. It hasn't rained here in weeks.

Grace--Sorry that Omega 3s are upsetting your stomach. My prenatals contain DHA and I have been fine with them so far. I take mine in the morning before breakfast.

Hi, Becca!

It is getting harder and harder not to tell people I am expecting. DH was in his weekly departmental meeting this morning and they sort of got to talking about things other than work, and he said "I am going to be a father.....someday." He said the other guys didn't even notice. Then I was talking to a gal, and she asked me if we were trying yet and I said NO! I felt sort of quilty, but hey, we technically aren't trying anymore! LOL!

I feel awful today. Heartburn is killing me. And I am so tired. It is like every time in the past month or so that I said I was tired was just practice. I feel like I am dying today. I even went to bed early last night. I wish I could take a nap at my desk.

Okay, maybe working will keep me awake. BBL.

Louise

Louise, the very day we found out I was pregnant, we met friends for dinner. We decided to stop at B&N on the way to look for some pregnancy books. I call our friends on the cell phone to see where they are (standing right in front of the preg. books), and she says, "you're not pregnant are you?" Completely out of the blue. Thank goodness it was over the phone so she didn't see my face!

ETA that this girl did the SAME thing to another friend of mine. I found this out later, but they were all at our house. Friend 1 says to me and Friend 2, "are you pregnant yet?" (we were both trying, her son is 10 months older than Alison). Friend 2 had found out THAT DAY that she was pregnant.

sorry you are so tired Louise. That makes it so rough to be sitting at work when you would rather be laying down having a nap. The tiredness took me by surprise as well. I used to walk my dog regularily and was pretty good about aerobics in the mornings, but I stopped aerobics when I found out I was pregnant (due to my history) and suddenly thanks to morning sickness (finally eased off , yay ,6 months later!) and exhaustion I haven't got in barely any exercise. sigh.

Jackie, yay on hearing the heartbeat. It goes a long way to easing your mind doesn't it! I am still reassured hearing baby's heartbeat each appt. even though regular baby Taebo has started.

LOL! My best friend called me the day I found out. I hadn't even told DH yet! And she never calls me. We usually email. Then she called me again the day of my first appointment! I was freaking out. I waited and told her in person a week later.

Thanks, Lou. I didn't realize that there were prenatals that contained DHA. I will have to check into those. I don't have any problem taking my prenatal. So, hopefully, that will help.

Hey, Val. You snuck in on me. Sorry about the rain. I think we are in for the same here this weekend. Glad to hear that your baby is taeboing.

Jackie, horse trailer camping sounds like a blast. Yay! on the heartbeat! Yes, I am taking Zantac twice a day, seems like it randomly helps. My doc said something about giving me a prescription if the OTC relievers didn't work.

Grace.... You can get the same Omega's from flax seed and flax oil... if you are taking the fish oil ones you can switch them out or vice versa. Oh and sometimes if you just mix the oil into something and not just swallow a pill, it can help!

Darlene-That is funny about your friend.

vjfreddi-Baby taebo! LOL!

jeniffer-in-wv-Sorry it didn't work out this month. Please don't be discouraged.

Luna-Hi!

Hey ladies.

Congrats Tam!

Sorry JenWV.

I'm about at my wits end nursing. I just can't get him full enough. He is a lazy nurser. He eats and gulps then uses me as a pacifier. I try over and over to wake him but he just keeps nodding back off. It would take an hour or so to get him full sometimes and I just can't do that with 2 other kids. Not sure what to do. I'm pumping so I have bottles ready. I have to use them a few times a day. I know I can't pump all his bottles though. Thinking of nursing some, pumping some, formula some. Just feel really *****ty about it.

Thanks for your suggestions on the Flax Luna! I'm going to give it a try. Anything has to be better than burping up fish oil, YUCK!

Tammara, I was wondering where you were. Congratulations!!! I'd love to hear about your wedding!

Becca, I wish I could help, but I have no clue about BFing.

I have suddenly gotten really hungry the past week or so. Bummer! And I was determined to not gain much more weight. I don't want to "explode", like Luna said......
