Well i had a bad day Monday and Payton had a crapy day Tuesday. I will take my bad day over his bad day ANY day !!! Maybe its the full moon, maybe its a grown spurt who the heck knows.... but it sucks he only took a 2 hour nap. Fussed and tried to sleep but never really did. Finally went down at midnight after eating, a bath and then a snack. He should be out untill 6 am, but i wont hold my breath. So i am off to the hot tub and then nighty night for me !! xoxo Chels

CHELSEA - I hear you about bad baby days. I hate those for both of us. My little man is actually still asleep too, but he should be up any minute now, and I'll lie on the sofa and nurse him, and we'll both go back to sleep for a bit.

Well, I have today and tomorrow off!!! I got a phone call from my boss last night, from her home no less, stating that "several people" had spoken to our Director of Nurses and have "allegations" that I had a conversation with my ex-assistant (works on my unit as an aide, we're still very good friends) that "undermines my department and supervisor". So I was put on 2 days unpaid suspension pending investigation. Yep you heard right...suspension based on a conversation and "he said/she said" crap. That's how juvenile this place is. It's obvious to Knowles, myself and my ex-assistant that this revolves around the aides that are upset with me right now (no thanks to the actions of my boss). So, I'm sure my ex-assistant will be called in to be questioned today by whomever is "investigating"....and who knows if I'll be called. Funny part is, the story my boss told me makes no sense whatsoever...then again, I don't trust her with what she told me being the truth. Anyway, let's just say she finally got an earful of how I feel. She called me from her home, not the place of business.....so she finally knows how I feel about her actions and how I've been treated. Not that it matters LOL

Honestly....my family, Knowles and I all feel that knowing this facility...this will be something they concoct as "founded" and I'll be terminated tomorrow. If so, they've only done what I haven't had the courage to do...and I'll claim unemployment until I find a new job. Others feel the "spin" on this is that they're afraid I'm going to say something to State Surveyors and did what they needed to in order to get me out of the building while they're there (coincidence that State leaves Thursday?). Whichever....if I do get terminated, I will definitely be calling the EEOC to confirm if the facility was notified of release of my charge. If so, I'm filing a retaliation action with the EEOC and I will be contacting the lawyer I spoke with prior.

Oh well...onto better things. We think Elana is going to crawl anyday now!! She's trying soooooo hard. She also is sitting up on her own all the time now. I truly can't believe she'll be 6 months old tomorrow and is becoming such a little person of her own

As for weight....sticking with it, minus two HUGE vanilla vodka's and Diet Coke w/Splenda's last night...they were kinda needed, not gonna feel bad.

Chelle~ UGH...I am so for you!!! How exactly is it "legal" for them to put you on unpaid suspension for such a he said/she said situation??? So, did they suspend the other people involved too, since that would only be fair? Sounds like her "behavior" undermines the whole freakin' place!

Nope just me! My assistant, Leo, just called me. Seems the Administrator cornered him in the elevator when he arrived this morning. Took him to his office and asked "So, what do you and Michelle talk about". Leo being Leo said.....poker, her husband and baby, my sex life. hahahahaha gotta love him!! (but it's true, that's what we talk about LOL). Anyway, Admin. said he didn't need details...that it was reported I said something I shouldn't have....Leo said there was "no way in hell Michelle said something unprofessional about someone in this building". He also reinforced the fact that there were aides up there "out to get Michelle" based on actions my boss has taken lately because I'm the one they see everyday. we'll see what happens next.

Not at all girl, get it out! It just p!sses me off to no end when people are treated unfairly. I'm no expert in employment laws, but it definitely sounds like she is harassing you without any real grounds.

ya but an employment attorney costs 50-75K to build a case...it is the toughest laws to prove

Since my DH had duty last night, it was just Reilly & I, so here's my project of the night. I found the lamp at Wal-Mart for $4.96 (shade included!) & bought the ribbon-beading on clearance for $1.50. Some quick work with the glue gun, & I have this:




What's really great is that the fabric on the shade is an exact match to my sofas!

Thank hon The truly sad part to me is my boss and I used to be super close outside the facility. So much so, my hubby has fished with hers....we've spent holidays at her home before Elana was born...she helped furnish my apartment for me when I got divorced. Now? I wouldn't take a thing she says with a grain of salt. I've really had to mourn the loss of that friendship.

NOW I HAVE MORE BAD NEWS!!! SORRY!!!!

Yesterday, I get a call from my mother, the conversation goes like this,
"Cynthia, I have some really bad news for you, so prepare yourself." "Yes, mom, what happened?"

"Carlos(my brother) and Tiffany (his gf) had the baby, but it only lived 3 hours."

"WHAT!!! Mom are you talking about she wasnt due"

"She had the baby early. Her sac started coming out and they couldn't get it back in, so the doc broke the sac and let the baby be born. It survived 3 hours and that was it."

I was just so shoked and saddened at the same time. So the "funeral" is sometimes this week. I am really going thru it this week.

The baby, missing Tyler, My grandpa, work----I am just threw!!!!

I'm so sorry to bring everyone down but I needed to "talk"

LOL Emily.....WalMart?? Nahhhh that's vintage boutique quality!!! As for the puter, nope she won't get her own. Knowles built ours and can build one easily for her...but ain't happenin. We have a rule with my son...you use ours, which are in the living room, until you turn 18. Then we will build you a top notch puter!
