Whoops... I made a thread too... We'll use yours, and I'll copy and paste my stuff... LOL!
Ezra is hitting a growth spurt, I think. He's been on the boob all day long. Nonstop. I'm so glad I have Allison around, because I feel terrible for neglecting Anna. At least it feels like I do. You should see her with him though. She is already such an awesome big sister. I can sit him in her lap (holding him, of course), and she says "Awww" and gives him a big kiss on the head. Then she pats his back. I guess she sees us burping him, and that's what she thinks she should do as well. I just can't wait until he can entertain himself for a few minutes at a time though, so I can pay more attention to her. Then when he gets even bigger, I can just play with both of them, and when I can't, I'm sure they'll play together. So many pros and cons to having them this close together. Oh, has anyone tried any gripe water? I hear it's just awesome for any digestive/gas issues. Even cures hiccups. I've looked at the two major brands, but they greatly differ. The main difference is one has a tiny bit of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and the other doesn't. Both defend why they do or don't contain it. The "Baby's Bliss" brand does and "Colic Ease" doesn't. I just want something to help with his gas. It doesn't make him cry most times, but it makes him JUST uncomfortable enough to be really squirmy and not be able to sleep and such. And he has such a hard time getting it up. Another thing... The other day I went to the grocery store, and they had a Starbucks inside. Hmmm... I got an iced decaf latte. Anna wanted some. So, sure... It's not hot... No caffeine... Why not? She drank half my damned latte!!! Thank goodness it was decaf or I would've had HyperSpeed Anna all that night! So, I go get another latte today after going to Wally World, and guess who's in the back, just DYING to get out of her car seat once she sees what I have??? Allison's already such a Strawberry Creme Frappucino addict that I got her a $20 gift card for Christmas. Now I've got another... And it's one who just LOVES the real thing. LOL! CHELSEA - I love your pictures... I love seeing daddies with their babies! *gush*

OMG Chelsea those pics are adorable!!! I love the one with his hand on his eye!! Hubby and I both "awwwwed".
Jennifer...too funny about the latte's! Gonna have some mojo queens there ![]() Well, State appeared yesterday so now we have 3 more days of survey to go through. Basically it's 5 people breathing down everyone's necks and waiting to find something we've done wrong. These are the people who give us the "OK" to stay open...so it's slightly stressful. Scale is definitely reflecting my stress levels as hubby reminded me....was up to 279 this morning I'm eating nothing unusual, no bigger portion sizes, more water in fact due to the heat...so he thinks that what it is. I can't imagine it would be the BC pills as I've only been on them a week and a half. I dunno....I'm considering a Meat/Egg fast next week.Have a great day ladies! |

Michelle ~ So sorry you have to be dealing with all that BS at work. I hope it gets better soon!!
Kristen ~ Sounded like you needed a weekend after your weekend!! If only !! If you want you fix the red eye I know that Imagestation has that in there editing features. Beth ~ you reminded me I need to go pick up a pool for Payton... your kids are SO cute!! Lauren ~ How do you keep yourself from squeezing Kendall's chubby little cheeks all day... I wouldn’t be able to stop myself, she is so cute!! Cynthia ~ Did you get your work done ?? Glad you had a good weekend !! Liz ~ Had to laugh when I read about Elliott's T-ball game! And that cake made me laugh also their little cap and gown selves popping out of it... very creative!! You know they make training wheels for dirt bikes??!! Dar ~ Alison looked like she was having a blast at the game. David and I where just talking last week about whether or not we should take Payton to the A's game at the end of July. We go every year with the PD on their law enforcement day. Any tips or suggestions ?? Melissa ~ Think he wore his last preemie outfit this weekend......lol. They where starting to fit a little snug, so he is finally in his newborn clothes !! What size does Hunter wear now ?? What happened with the testing?? Cant wait till the 16th !!!!!!!!! Vanessa ~ good luck with the applications, I used to bartend and LOVED it. Not bad $$ either. Sarah ~ Hope they figure out how to fix your voice. I feel you on the taking care of the little ones solo. I gets hard , not to mention can be lonely. So days what I wouldn’t give for adult conversation. By the end of the week I am going stir crazy!! Oh and can Tanner PLEASE teach Payton to like his car seat??!! He hates being in it when he is awake, makes running errands a bear!! Holly ~ Loved your belly pic.... hope you get the +++ you are hoping for !! Becca ~ How is the breast feeding going ?? I had some latching issues I swear I had to shove my nipple in his mouth to get him to latch right. Got easier everyday. The other girls where suggesting relaxing for pumping ... I say that hubby should rub your feet!! KJen ~ Wooo Hooo on the BF hope you are able to do it for a year. That’s what I *want* to do, but will be happy with 6 months. Jeffiner ~ You and Hank make me laugh... glad to know that there is other couples out there with a wacky sense of humor like us. You should have heard the bets that where being made about how far breast milk could squirt...... ROFLMAO I was going to post my last tummy shot that was taken the day before I had Payton but then I read the strappy tank top comments.... LOL, I swear I lived and am still living in them!!! Since it is summer I have some questions. When did you put sunscreen on your little ones?? When did you take them into a chlorinated pool ?? Just wondering!!! Well looks like little man is down so I am off to get some sleep. xoxo Chels |

Chelle ~ Maybe while the state is there they will see some of the BS you work with. The scale problem could be the BC, they do crazy things to me, I lost my milk in a matter of 4 days of being on them
IO keep thinging about the M/E fast too, maybe even the h2o one. Last year when I did the h2o I was 4 or 5 days in when I found out I was preg Not ready for that again!Chels ~ OMG what a beautiful baby! Those pics are wonderful, I too love the one with his hand over his eye. I wish I had taken more sleeping pics of Judson when he was first born. I swear he was only an infant for like 3 days As far as the sunsreen goes I put it on Judson now and have been for about a month. I keep it away from his eyes, and off his hands since they are always in his mouth. I also put it in my hand first-not right on him. Try a dap on him and see what happens before you completey cover him. I think Elliott was around 2 or 3 months when he went in the pool, we just didn't leave him in there very long, and were sure to rinse him off as soon as he got out. Hope you have a better day today Jefinner ~ I remember Judson's first spurt, I coldn't figure out what was wrong with this kid I don't remember it with Elliott, but I didn't BF him either. Can't help you with the gripe water-never heard of it Too funny about your Starbucks kids Our closest one is like 2 hrs away I've never liked anything coffeeish though-only coffee cake Let's see who got in here while I was typing away...

CHELS- Great pics. I love the one of DH and Payton lying in bed. BTW Yes I got my workout in. I have been going faithfully everyday for the last 2-3 weeks and I'm loving the results. My ped. told me the baby needs to be 6 months before applying sunscreen and to use the waterbabies.
Chelle- Hope the inspections don't take too much out of you! M/E will get things a moving but the weight is probably stress related. Vanessa- Great pic yesterday. That's how I need to dress Lexi because it is so hot here. Today and Tomorrow it's suppose to be in the 90's. Beth- Hey there! I think all the other ladies gave you perfect advise, hugs to you!! Dar- Great pics of the family. And I must agree w/ Vanessa your brother is CUTE!! Liz- Howdy! Dividah-Hey to you too! Lauren- Have a great trip! Loved the pics BTW!! Tracy- Hey I hope we hear some great news about the adoption yesterday!!! Jefinner- That is too funny about Anna, my son Tyler loves STARBUCKS and BEGS to go there!! Oh did I tell you ladies, I got an email from Joy? Anyways she is doing great and sends hellos to everyone, she is teaching 2 classes, yoga, I believe. The kids are all healthy and doing great! Sorry for anyone I missed but I gotta get to going... Oh and my house is ALL DONE!!! Cynthia

Chels, not much advice, really. The few things I can think of.. Find the family restrooms for diaper changes (great because they also gave me a chance to potty while she hung out on the changing table). Inquire about a room for BF'ing, since I know you are, or else have enough pumped for several feedings. One of the ushers offered to show me where their room was, but I didn't need it. (The ushers were very helpful.) I packed enough formula for FOUR feedings and she scarfed it all. She worked so hard staying awake the whole game since there is SO much to see, that she ate and ate and ate and....
And the obvious, dress in light clothing, bring the sunscreen, a hat, perhaps sunglasses (I need to get some for Alison). And be prepared to be warm yourself, since you'll be holding him. I didn't bring any toys or anything since there was plenty to entertain her there.. other people, the sights, etc. I'm sure he'll have a blast. Also be prepared for lots of ooooh's and aaaaah's!! He's so adorable! And watch out for foul balls! Alison is like a foul ball magnet.. each game we went to, a foul ball came within a couple seats of us. Seriously, I've never been that close to a foul ball, and to have it happen 3 games in a row?! I put sunscreen on Alison for the first time when she was 3 weeks. I had to, otherwise she would have burned.. we were at a frisbee competition in Clearwater. Even under the tent, Rob and I got burned from the glare. And, Chels, while we secretly hate you because you were a beautiful pregnant woman, you know we really love you! I loved your belly shots.Jenn, my 8 yo neice has been a coffee freak since she was a baby! Sorry Ezra is treating you like a buffet lately. Hopefully it gets better soon! Michelle, Sorry about the stress at work.Have fun, Lauren! Cyn, are you going to post house pics, then? Can't wait to see it! Hi, Liz! I got 90 oz. in yesterday. Is that good? I don't even know what a good number is. Hello to everyone who pops in later. Thanks for the comments on my brother. He's available if anyone has a single sister! ![]() Well, Alison was officially wiped out from the weekend. She crashed at 8 pm last night in her swing. I had to finally wake her at 11 so I could get her in her pj's, give her a little food before 'bedtime' and put her in her crib. She only had a couple ounces, so she was hungry again at 4:30. Not bad, though. And Emily, she's working on getting up to those 5 ounces now. She had 5 ounces this morning, so I'll offer her 5 per feeding now and see how it goes. Ok, my results from yesterday - I stuck to plan, but did have some Breyers CalSmart ice cream for a dessert. It's low carb and low cal. So, my totals for the day: 1481 cals, 29 carbs, 14 fiber. Food for today: B- inside of an egg mcmuffin L- probably tuna & mayo w/ cucumber D- don't know, have to go to the store! Oh! And my WOO HOO for the day.... I'm wearing size 12 jeans today! ![]() |

Oh my goodness-
8:03 am and 15 posts already Gonna take me a few minutes to catch up with everyone. Lauren- have a blast on your trip! Can't wait to see pics! Jen- Anna doesn't think anything of it. She has to know he's a little more needy right now. Chels- beautiful pics! I used sunscreen and took Katie to the beach at about 5 months. Hi Cynthia! Dar- love the new avi! How is hubby? I have to get to work, but will BBL. The judge did not grant the adoption on Olivia yesterday, something about a 30 day appeals process He did however, sever Olivia's mothers parental rights and stopped her child support obligation. For those of you that don't know, she abandoned her 3 years ago in September. I have had custody of her ever since.Mom hasn't called, written or tried to see her since, which is fine with me. My oldest daughter's dad abandonded her too and Phill adopted her last year. Soooooooo, 30 days now and the judge will sign the step parent adoption. BB in a bit! |

Murphy was very gassy as a younger baby. It wasn't that he farted alot, it was that he didn't. He just seemed trapped and made him very miserable. The Colic Ease seemed to calm his tummy. It has dill in it so we always called him our pickle baby . It seemed pricey to me, but it lasted forever. I still have 2 half full bottles. I used it a little to ease his transition to food, but he is doing great now and we haven't used it in a while. I never had to use the recommended dosage. Always just used 1/4 or 1/2 dose. And Jen, it also said it helps those with IBS.

And DH is feeling much better, thanks for asking. Still having pain, but is able to pretty much do what he needs to do to take care of Alison. That was our biggest concern at first. His biggest complaint is that his incision itches! And he hates that he can't sleep on his back. Otherwise, he's doing well. |

Morning ladies...!! So, I get a call yesterday from some friend's of mine in Sheridan who have a vending machine buisness over there. A buisness they have machines at there wants them to put some vending machines in their buisness that they here (Gillette) also. Well, because they cannot come over here every week to fill the vending machines they need someone over here to do it!! The great thing is I can do it anytime....so I can do it before or after Jared works!! So, with the money I make from that and the money I make from watching Meia then I don't think I'll have to go to work anywhere else...and I'll still get to be here with my babies!! Anyway, Alexis decided she didn't wanna come home...so she will be going to VBS today in Sheridan. I bet she is gonna have a great time. I wish I could be there in person to ask her about it though cause I just love the excited little look she gets on her face when she is talking about something new and how much fun she had!!! Wierd thing?? 8 yrs. ago I taught my second to youngest SIL at the SAME VBS!! Wow, how time flys!
Chels-Payton is soooooo adorable!! His eyes look like they are gonna be blue, huh?? Chelle-I hope things go okay at work...I would be super stressed too. Have you ever thought of taking Relacore?? It is supposed to help with stress weight gain! I hope it is not the BC pills...I know my sister gained like 30 lbs. off the shot! Lauren-I hope you have a GREAT vacation. Can't wait for you to get back and to see pics!! Be safe!! Liz-That was a cute pic of Judson yesterday!! I hope you have a good day today!! Cyn-WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO house is all done. Do we get to see pics?? Are you all ever planning to move?? Was this like an investment thing?? Jen-I haven't ever heard of the gripe water either!! I love my kiddos being this close together...I'm sure you'll come to love it too. Tana (that is Meia's mom) brought me an iced sf/decaf latte the other day...and it is the first time my kiddos had tasted one. OH MY GOSH...they would drank the whole thing if I woulda let them!!LOL I can just see little Miss Anna drinkin it!!LOL Tracy-I'm sorry he didn't grant it right away! So Olivia's mom can never come back to claim her now??? I can't imagine abandoning my children, wow. Dar-WOOOOOHOOOOOO....you go girl. size 12's are awesome. So you must be losin inches even though you are only averaging a lb. a week!! Menu looks great!! You are doin so awesome. How's Rob feeling?? |

Dar- good to hear hubby is doing well.
When will you get the results from pathology? Inches are soooooooo important! Even when I feel like I am not losing any weight, I can usely measure and see a loss in inches. You should post a pic from right after Alison was born, and then one from yesterday again. Big difference! I have the kid's father's day pics back. Need to post em. They were pretty good. ETA- Vanessa that is wonderful news!!!! NO- Olivia's mom cannot ever come back for her, after this next 30 days is up. I can't hardly stand to leave my kids, just to go to work, I cannot imagine walking out on them. Last edited by TRACY2 : 06-21-2005 at 08:14 AM. |

Chels- Payton is so, so cute!!! What color are his eyes changing to? Hunter is in 24/2T clothing already.....that kid is long and skinny. From what I can gather, Andrew's testing is up in the air again. We don't think they actually ever did the testing on Saturday or Monday....makes me wonder how Home Depot even functions.... I've never put sunscreen on Hunter, we don't normally go out in the direct sunlight (gosh, I sound like a vampire). We will probably need it during the 4th of July festivities though with all the BBQ's we are going to.
Jenn- Gosh, hope that Ezra has a fast growth spurt...... Chelle- Hi Cyn and Liz!!! Dar- on making it into your size 12's....the scale might not be moving, but you are losing inches!!!!Tracey- I am for you!!! My biological mother just handed over her parental rights to my mom when I was 5.Hi KJen!! Okay, menu should look a bit better today. I'm back on track with trying to eat better... B- SF Jello, Bacon L- Chicken w/Bacon, Cheese, Tomato D- Steak or Chicken with Veggies |
