Good morning, gals!! Today I take Kendall to Children's Hospital for a surgical follow-up appt. I'm hoping she gets good reviews! We leave for Ocean City, MD tomorrow and I can't wait! We're REALLY looking forward to our vacation! We had a good Father's Day - I had my parents over for breakfast so it was nice and low-key.

Morning Mommies!!

We're exhausted here. Hubby had yesterday off so he napped for 4 hours after I got home from work. Elana was fine all night until around 10pm when she was wide awake, but happy. So he sent me off to bed around midnight with her still awake. Sure enough, she was up every 30 minutes the entire night. Poor guy can't even get a good night's sleep on his night off. So now he'll be home with her today while I work and sleep when I get home before working all night t'nite. At least he has tomorrow night off....hopefully she'll be feeling better.

I have a lot going on stress wise right now....I need to seriously find a new job. It has gotten so bad that I am now getting threats against myself and damage to my car because staff I work with think I am responsible for situations due to misleadings from my supervisor so she doesn't have to deal with them. I spent all weekend "hearing things" they wanted me to hear....I'm tired of it. I shouldn't have to work in a hostile environment yet I have no one that will do anything about it because they won't upset that particular group of staff. We also found out that the company that bought out our apartments will not be offering extensions of leases...so with our financial situation right now we have nothing in savings....yet have to move in 3 months. My worry is, there isn't a complex in the city that has openings for the next 8 months and there will be 1000 people looking for housing all at the same time. This is going to be interesting and I have a feeling, expensive.

I've been eating clean through all the stress/tiredness....but the scale isn't moving, in fact it's up a pound

Question about sippy cups....the doctor wanted us to introduce one to Elana with water in it. I keep trying and she just cries and cries when I do. It's a soft sippy and I've taken the stopper out so she realizes water is in it. Any other ideas to help her other than persistance? Thanks in advance

Godd job on eating clean....you should feel REALLY good about that!! Sippy cups.....I gave Madison the Gerber one with the handles and she loves it...she didn't at first, but just keep introducing it, she will get used to it.

- Hope everything gets better at work or that you find a new job fast. Sorry I have no advice for the sippy cup- my kids took to both of theirs.

My co-worker is on vacation so I don't know if I will be around alot this week. I will try. Weight is the same. I did ok this weekend- I did have a few bites of cake and taste a smirnoff twister (watermelon)- so I can't say I was "cheat free"-

Have you tried a different kind of sippy cup? Mackenzie would take any, while Kendall was very picky and it took a few to figure out that she liked the plain old Playtex sippy cups.

At any rate, maybe try it with a bit of formula in it - you know, something that she's used to.

Kendall never was interested in water, so it may just be that and not really the whole issue of her not liking the cup.

I had to jazz hers up a bit. Her version of 'juice' is 3/4 water and 1/4 juice. It tastes icky and watered down to me, but to her it's jazzed up enough so that she likes it. Also, it took Kendall a while to really get the hang of the cup, so Elana will get it eventually. I just kept giving it to her at each meal and she finally really took to it.

Oh, forgot to mention that we went to the big pool yesterday, this requird me to get a swimsuit (haven't bought one in like 5 years), so I got a really cute suit. It is a two piece (don't worry the belly is covered) and the bottoms have a skirt on it!!! So cute and I thought I looked "okay" in it too!! It is bright green and blue flowers!! Maybe I will take a picture of it so y'all can see!!

Chelle- BTW I gave Lexi the sippy cup in the tub at first, not when she was hungry but just so she could get use to it. That way if she spills something it's in the tub and not all over the floor. Lexi did really well with the cup and I had that Gerber cup w/ the soft tip to (like a bottle). She was off the bottle around 11 months. My pediatrican suggested the sippy cup that leaked first so they would know something was in it.

Beth- Great pics! Was that the first time Madison was in a big pool? How did she like it. We went to a pool party yesterday but I didn't take Alexander in because it was only 77degrees out and I thought the air was to cool. The water in the pool was 91degrees-

Kristen- I didn't take Madison in.....I thought I would try with Braden first to see how he would do..we bought him a life jacket. It was super blazin hot here, like 97 so i wasn't sure anbout her out in the sun....we have a membership at the Y and they have a family water park, it is really cool, except my son is a chicken but and wouldn't go down the slides!!

Hi, girls...

In work late today since I took my brother to the airport.

What a whirlwind weekend!

I'll post my food stats really quick, then I'll BBL for personals after I catch up. I have TONS of pics that I'll have to upload tonight or tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to get them uploaded to the internet, but there are some great ones.

Friday: 1595 cals, 42 carbs, 10 fiber (oops) - Had a taco salad w/o the shell and it had beans and guac in it so my carbs are high. Plus a hot dog w/o bun at the game since I was shaking and needed to eat.

Saturday: 937 cals, 33 carbs, 14 fiber - Had seafood for dinner, but it wasn't that great, so my cals are low.

Sunday: 1437 cals, 19 carbs, 3 fiber - A little more normal, just not enough veggies.

BBL!!!!!

Lauren- Those pictures are so, so, darn cute!!! I just love Lauren's hair. Hope her appointment goes well and you have a GREAT vacation!!!

Chels- Can't wait to see new pictures of Payton!!! Is he still in premie's? I was so upset when Hunter was about 3 weeks old, he moved into 3-6 month clothing...no, tiny baby for me.

Chelle- Don't worry about the scale, just try to eat clean and I'm sure once some of the stress is gone you will see it move again. You have been going thru so much lately, feels like it is never going to get better, but I promise you, it will..... I'm sure you can find another job with what you do. As for the apartment, can you move on the outskirts of the city? Maybe that would be a little cheaper? I can't believe they only gave you 3 months notice, that has to be wrong. As for the sippy cups, I am the last person to offer advice :-) So, I say, go with other's suggestions. Hunter finally took one at 13 months...but he hasn't had a bottle in about 10 days so I see that as progress. I'm actually going to get rid of this bottles (sold them on eBay) so that they are not even in the house for him to "see" I figured I would takle the "binkie" after the 4th and my birthday celebrations!

Beth- Good job on the bathing suit.....I'm afraid to try any of mine on, but I know we will be going to my parents next on July 9th and will be by my grandparents pool! Post a picture, I'm sure you look great in it!

Well, we just found out the beer we had and thought was LC wasn't...so that explains my mega sugar cravings.....

I'm not even going to post my menu today because it is so, so bad......all LC, but not much, will need to get in some good veggies tonight.

Still waiting on Andrew's testing....we heard that the testing would be today...but no word yet. I just wish this guy would call Andrew instead of making us wonder what was going on.

Good morning ladies. Nothing new here. I'm hoping to hear something back on the applications I turned in this week. I have to admit I'm a little nervous, but only because it is something new! I know I will enjoy it once I get used to it!! We didn't do anything special this weekend, didn't have the money, but it was great to have Jared home all weekend and him not having to go to work. My mom is going to bring Alexis home today (she left with my sister on Friday to go back to Sheridan). She was going to stay all week this week to go to VBS but she wants to come home. It was nice to have a break though...it is amazing to me how much easier it is with just 2 than 3!!LOL

Lauren-Great pics. I hope the surgery check-up goes great!! How is the physical therapy coming?? How is TTC going?? Kendall looks great!!

Kristen- I didn't take Madison in.....I thought I would try with Braden first to see how he would do..we bought him a life jacket. It was super blazin hot here, like 97 so i wasn't sure anbout her out in the sun....we have a membership at the Y and they have a family water park, it is really cool, except my son is a chicken but and wouldn't go down the slides!! I'll post my food stats really quick, then I'll BBL for personals after I catch up. I have TONS of pics that I'll have to upload tonight or tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to get them uploaded to the internet, but there are some great ones. Friday: 1595 cals, 42 carbs, 10 fiber (oops) - Had a taco salad w/o the shell and it had beans and guac in it so my carbs are high. Plus a hot dog w/o bun at the game since I was shaking and needed to eat. Saturday: 937 cals, 33 carbs, 14 fiber - Had seafood for dinner, but it wasn't that great, so my cals are low. Sunday: 1437 cals, 19 carbs, 3 fiber - A little more normal, just not enough veggies. BBL!!!!!

Hope her appointment goes well and you have a GREAT vacation!!! Chels- Can't wait to see new pictures of Payton!!! Is he still in premie's? I was so upset when Hunter was about 3 weeks old, he moved into 3-6 month clothing...no, tiny baby for me. Chelle- Don't worry about the scale, just try to eat clean and I'm sure once some of the stress is gone you will see it move again. You have been going thru so much lately, feels like it is never going to get better, but I promise you, it will..... I'm sure you can find another job with what you do. As for the apartment, can you move on the outskirts of the city? Maybe that would be a little cheaper? I can't believe they only gave you 3 months notice, that has to be wrong. As for the sippy cups, I am the last person to offer advice :-) So, I say, go with other's suggestions. Hunter finally took one at 13 months...but he hasn't had a bottle in about 10 days so I see that as progress. I'm actually going to get rid of this bottles (sold them on eBay) so that they are not even in the house for him to "see" I figured I would takle the "binkie" after the 4th and my birthday celebrations! Beth- Good job on the bathing suit.....I'm afraid to try any of mine on, but I know we will be going to my parents next on July 9th and will be by my grandparents pool! Post a picture, I'm sure you look great in it! Kristen- Awwwww....... . Hi Cyn!!! Liz- Don't worry, you can never exhaust your pictures here!!! Okay, I'll post this and see if there are any more.

Can't wait to see the new pictures. Well, we just found out the beer we had and thought was LC wasn't...so that explains my mega sugar cravings..... I'm not even going to post my menu today because it is so, so bad......all LC, but not much, will need to get in some good veggies tonight. Still waiting on Andrew's testing....we heard that the testing would be today...but no word yet. I just wish this guy would call Andrew instead of making us wonder what was going on.
