Morning!!! We kept Hunter up until we saw he was really getting crabby last night and then put him to bed. At 12:40'ish am, he started to scream, but it was only for 5 mins and then he fell back to sleep so I didn't even have to get up last night!!! He woke up around 8:30am...I'm liking this schedule!
We don't have much planned this weekend, today is just relaxing and doing some laundry. I'm going to make a cheesecake also! Tomorrow I'm going to a friends house who is doing a book club, Andrew and Hunter are staying home so it will be interesting to go someplace without Hunter. Normally we don't do that, but the book club is during his normal nap time. To all you Florida people- Hope you all make it thru this storm without any damage. I'll try to send some of our sunshine your way! Chelle- Put away your scale!!!! Remember you were sick on Thursday and ate some carbs. Your liver is probably still holding on to some of it giving you the weight flectuation. I'm telling you, if you weigh in once a week you won't stress about it and if you loose a ton you will feel so good about yourself! |

Good morning!! Today is free day for me... YUM! I'm looking forward to it! I think I'll make waffles for breakfast... my fav!
Chelle: Don't stress about the weight, you've got so many other things you've been worrying about... try not to let that pile on top. I know, easier said than done, right? You are doing so good... just keep it up. ![]() Melissa: Glad Hunter slept better, that's great! Have a very relaxing day, and have fun making your cheesecake! |

hey, girls..
it's pouring rain. dh is playing golf with a couple friends, and one of the wives is sitting here with me watching tv while it's pouring rain out. the sun has been out today, we're just getting the residual thunderstorms. well, i had a bit of birthday cake this morning at david's party.. but just one bite. chelle, it was a publix cake, too. they make GREAT cakes. they had pizza and sandwiches, so i had the insides of the sandwiches and cheese from the fruit/cheese tray. so, i'm pretty proud of myself. dh and i may hit the outlet mall tomorrow to return some baby clothes we've needed to return for awhile. otherwise, no big plans the rest of the weekend. bbl ![]() |

Yuck, rain....nope, none up here. We do have completely hazy, hot and humid weather...so both AC's are pumping. We took a walk to the mailbox outside on the other end of the apartment complex and promptly brought Hunter back inside.

UGH, I did something & the last post submitted too soon.
Anyway, going to finish here... Lauren~ Hi! Happy weekend to you, too! Dar~ Hope the weather didn't get too bad for you guys! Well, I spent the majority of the day lounging around the sofa. I have had an incredible headache all day accompanied by the worst nausea & reflux. No amount of Tylenol has helped, & I even got a tiny nap in this afternoon. I'm sure it's all just related to the headache (I have a history of migraines, but haven't been treated for them since before Mackenzie was born.) ![]() |

We're having to find new daycare for Kendall (there are 2 ladys at our current daycare and 1 is leaving, so they have to cut back children - especially infants), and tomorrow we meet w/a lady. I REALLY hope things go well. I got a great phone impression from her, and she has a neat website set up for her daycare, etc... She isn't in the most convenient location, but it would work. I'd rather drive a bit and have wonderful care than find someone close that sucks.

Emily- Cheesecake making went well last night. I started at 8pm, so it wasn't done until 10pm and then I left it in the oven until Andrew went to bed. I just peeked in the fridge and it looks so, so yummy. I made it with the Caramel Davinci, will have to le you know tonight how it came out! Hope your headache is better this morning....I hate it when I get maigraines.
Lauren- That stinks, is Kendall in a center style or home style daycare? I agree with you, I would rather drive the extra distance for wonderful care. I'm still leaning towards getting a part time job or stepping up my eBay business to make up some income and being a SAHM, but we need to see what Andrew gets offered for income when he finally gets to take his HR exam. Hi Sarah! Hope your FREE day was excellent!!!! Enjoy your cake today Chelle!!! Need to go pick up a mattress to go with the crib my mother got off freecycle and then I'm off to the book club. Andrew and Hunter are staying home, so I will be husbandless and childless...weird. I'll leave a piece of cheesecake for Andrew though... :-) |

Lauren~ I hope you find exactly what you are looking for. It can be so emotional to find someone you trust, the drive definitely wouldn't matter if you find it
![]() Sarah~ You skinny minnie you!! You're doing awesome I too am waiting for some pics.Melissa~ Enjoy your day "manless"! That cheesecake sounds yummyyyy. Emily~ Hope your headache has gotten better, that is certainly not the kind of couch lounging I'm sure you were hoping for. I'll eat a big gooey rose for you too ![]() Did great on food yesterday. Eggs for breakfast, chicken for lunch and dinner was steak/broccoli. So far today I've had eggs with canadian bacon for breakfast with a slice of LC toast. That will probably be all I'll eat until dinner t'nite which is chicken on the grill, loaded fauxtatoe casserole and a tossed salad with our friends...then of course, THE CAKE!!! So I think I've done well in preparation for it LOL |

Mornin' girls! Well, even with the cake yesterday, I still stayed under 20 net carbs. My calorie count was super high, though, due to having to eat the cheese since there was nothing else at the party for me, really. But, that's okay.. lots of water today and back on track today.
![]() Hmmm.. perhaps DH and I can finally work on the yard today. I think I'd rather do that than drive the 1 hour to the outlet mall. The sun is out! I can't believe it. ![]() Chelle, enjoy that cake! Publix makes such great cakes for a grocery store, ya know? Have you ever tried their ice cream cakes? So so evil. Oh, and this low calorie thing might be doing the trick... I was able to squeeze into a size 12 short yesterday! Melissa, let us know if anyone can tell a difference on the cake! Gotta run.. baby's up. It's been rough the past two nights trying to get her used to her crib. |

Dar.....Publix cakes come a close 2nd to the old German bakery cakes from my hometown (that's what I ate at my mom's wedding). So this is a splurge I'll enjoy
Life must still be lived...just in moderation!! I'm not much of an ice cream eater, let alone in cakes *bleck* Glad you got the sun too today...we did not get one drop of rain yesterday!! *whew* Altho hubby said it did rain overnight while he was at work.Hope Alison adjusts to the crib for you!! OK, I really need to get showered, vacuum, dust, get to the store, make casserole and salad and blah blah blah LOL. Thankfully hubby gets woken up in an hour! |

3 is IT! Then we're done...finished...someone's getting snipped! We started this month, but I *think* I missed my ovulation, so I doubt we'll have success just yet. Although, my schedules have been super wacky so I'm not ruling out anything. |

Kendall is at an in-home daycare, just like Mackenzie was until she turned 2 years old. Then I sent her to a daycare/preschool center called Prep and Play. Kendall is already on the list there and will go when she is 2. Ideally, if we get pregnant soon, the new baby will take Kendall's spot when she goes to Prep and Play next year. ![]() |

Wellllllll...we loved the daycare lady AND her husband...and their pets...and their house!!!
It's all wonderful and even though it's a bit out of the way, it'll be well worth it. We are very comfortable w/it there, and Kendall will start a week from tomorrow! |

Hi Everyone just a quickie to say hi! Things are nuts as always, yesterday we had t-ball, another mini dance recital at the local nursing home, then open house at Scamp Camp. Finally I got to work last night, and got trashed
I was disherwasher last night, so at least I didn't have to worry about falling in the pizza oven. We did a lot of shots, everyone else did 'after eights', stupid me decided to do vodka shots. I've never craved apple juice like I did this morning I wish there was some sugar free juice somewhere. Other then that I feel pretty good, thankfully Mark is home today to help take care of the kiddos! Gotta go find some solid food, have a great day ![]()

Well, scratch the working in the yard! We had major thunderstorms roll in about 2. I did at least get my roses and a few other flowers trimmed before I pooped out. It's so hot and humid out.
I wonder if Alison is going through a growth spurt. She's been cranky ALL day and eating every 2-3 hours. Not really like her. ![]() Hi to everyone! |

Mmmm, that cheesecake is so, so good! I'm going to have to get some other flavors of Davinci Syrup for sure! Nobody noticed the difference.

Hey Girls~
Feeling much better today; just a shadow of the headache is hanging around & I'm still kind of lightheaded, but am functioning. Lauren~ That's great that the daycare interview went well! Melissa~ Glad the cheesecake turned out well! Dar~ I agree, probably a growth-spurt. Reilly started eating more around that time & in just the past week I've moved him up to eating 6oz at a time. Chelle~ Hope you had a good dinner with your friends; you should be enjoying that cake around now. Kristen, Liz, & Jefinner~ Hi! Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend! Well, we didn't do much around here today. DH washed & waxed my truck this morning, so of course we had rain this afternoon. Went & did errands at Wal-Mart & Sam's Club this afternoon & that was about it.Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend! If I'm not back tonight, I'll "see" you girls tomorrow. ![]() |
