Need fertility advice (graphic)

I posted this over in the Playground & they suggested I ask you "experts" over here...

I'm trying to have a baby, this will make #3 and both times before I got pregnant pretty quickly.

I'm trying to figure out when I'll ovulate. I started having brown-period like discharge on Tuesday, not heavy. On Thursday it was more like a period (still not heavy). But which date should I use?

My hubby has ER due to Radiation Therapy and we have to use "the little blue pill" so it's $10.00 a pop and I'm trying to be pretty precise.

We have to use the little blue pill, too. I used an ovulation predictor kit to help me. I got mine off of eBay for alot cheaper than buying out right. They are made by ClearBlue Easy.

Are you charting?? Taking temps, etc?? I used Fertility Friend and it was great. I too was confused as to what exactly to use as a period start date if it was just spotting. But using FF you take all the factors, temps, are you spotting or is it light flow, etc.

LOL!!! I'm not doing anything yet. I've just used an ovulation calculator at babycentral.com. I just love their acronyms...BMS...AF...BFP...

From what I've read, the date you use is the first day of bright red blood...good luck!

I think you should start from Tuesday.

Do you chart? I got pregnant with my daughter (10 months) after charting for 1 year with FertilityFriend. The OPKs are good too.

I heard that spotting before hand doesn't count - you go by actual flow.

I'd say use Thursday as "Day 1" of this cycle.

I also second the suggestion of charting. Two great sites are Ovusoft and Fertility Friend .

Do you get ovulation pains or the urge to go out and boink anyone? That is always how I know when I'm ovulating!! Scary but true!! Good luck hun!
