Morning Mommies!!

*yawn* the weekend is almost here....thankfully!! Is it just me or is this week dragging? We've had a rough week at work so that may be what it is for me. Hope it's going well for all of you. Next week is my short week so finally I will have some time for personals.

Ack, Elana just woke.....wanted to pop some pics on from last night. She LOVES her new exercauser grandma sent her!

Have a GREAT day!!!

I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend. We don't have anything planned so far and I'm hoping to keep it that way! We're going to Ocean City, MD from the 21st - 26th and we're definitely looking forward to that!

Morning, mommies!

Pregnancy Thread Wednesday 6/8

Anyways, Dierdre, Chelle, Jen, Tracy, are you guys ready???????? The season's started already!

A massage therapist is coming to our office today to give back and neck massages. I can't wait! $10 for a 15 minute massage is a bargain!

Here's my menu plan for today:
B- hb egg
S- hb egg
L- 4 chicken wings, celery, ranch dressing
S- 2 oz cheese
D- chicken kabob, salad (lettuce, cucumber, ranch dressing)

FitDay totals: 1287 cals, 88 g fat, 14 g carb, 106 g protein

Hopefully I can stay strong and stick to that (and avoid the sf chocolates in my pantry!).

Chelle, that exersaucer looks like so much fun. I guess Elana likes to be a nekkid baby, huh? Alison hates to be undressed. She usually cries.

Good morning mommies-

Sorry I have been MIA. Trying to get back into the swing of things.

Chelle- she is sooooooooo cute. And like I told you in a PM- her daddy's spitting image
Not that you aren't beautiful- you are
but she sure favors her dad!
I know you are looking forward to getting a break from work.

Dar-

Lauren- saw Kendall's b-day pics! She is getting big! All that hair. I can so relate. Does she use her hair as a napkin when she eats? Katie does. Every single meal! It's a curse sometime. Those of you with bald babies.... don't hate it. I just cut Katie's the other night, out of her eyes.

Glad her surgery went well! Have fun on your trip!

Cynthia- can't wait to see the pics. I am disapointed
I wanna see b-day pics.

Katie's first is Saturday My middle child's b-day is today and my oldest is in 2 weeks.
They are all just growing too fast!

Phone call...

Hey Mommies,

Dar- I saw that one, whatever :-)

Cyn- Hope you can be a pic'hoe later!

Chelle- Elana looks like she is having a ball. Hunter never would have had the patience to get in one of those, he wanted to roll around everywhere.

Hi Lauren!

Well, I'm back at work today, YUCK. I have to say I really enjoyed being at home yesterday even if I didn't get 3/4 of what I needed to get done. Funny thing is when I am at home, Hunter is very, very clingy. Mr. Monster was still asleep when I left so I didn't get to say bye to him. :-(

B- Green Olives, String Cheese
S- String cheese
L- Salad with tomato, chicken and CarbSmart Ranch Dressing
S- SF Jello
D- ?, maybe steak and green beans or broccoli.

Tracy's sig! LOL...

I am actually thinking about making one of those mamatoto slings. Cheaper than buying a carrier. It would just be nice to have a way to tote her around when she's clingy but I need two hands.

Dar- I think slings are great! They sure make things easy when you have a clingy baby, but Katie now weighs 25 lbs. Would break my back. In fact, past about 6-7 months, woulda broke my back.

Katie hits "clingy" spells and we just kinda go with it, but it usually means I sit and rock a lot. Teething, ear infection, that kind of thing. I don't mind, I love it. But just found out I have 5 misaligned vertebrae in my back and my hips are misalighned a 1/4 inch. Ouch. Therapy is helping but... carrying little bit all day is out of the question for me.

Thanks for the b-day wishes everyone!

Cyn, does that work for adults, too? The steroid cream I have helps the exzema go away, but I'd rather not get it in the first place! I looks like I always have ringworm on my arms and chest. Blech!

Oh, and is she losing weight because she's walking?

Another ... on the PG this morning.

Cyn- That is interesting. Our pediatrician told us to use Hydrocortizone cream for Hunter's excema. It works, but we can never seem to get it to go away fully.

thats what Lexi was using..she has used that, Elidel, Flougora cream, but this stuff is the bomb!!! It has steroids in it though, that's why you only need it once a week..The Elidel didnt have steriods but I heard it causes Cancer...yet another Cancer causer....

I don't see why it wouldn't work on adults...you should ask your doc about it...

I'm loving it! My insurance didn't carry it so I went to the pharmacy and they told me 100 bucks...well I called the Ped. and she ordered it for me from the manufacturer for 40 bucks!!
