Starting the thread today so I can be a picture ho!

We've been trying to get a picture of Alison smiling.. but it seems impossible! LOL..

Dar she is so pretty! I love baby faces. Spencer has been frowning a lot lately. I know its probably not emotion related, but it makes me laugh.

Jake is going to be home in 3 hours! I'm so excited; I can't believe they actually granted him leave, much less 15 days of it! I was up late cleaning last night. Between that and getting up twice a night to pump I'm tired.

I wanted to recommend a nursing bra to those planning to nurse or pump. Its called Bravado and I love them. I got one that I liked so much that I bought another one. I have a rather large chest and they are really supportive. I think they were like $30 a piece but they were worth it because they are all I'll need.

Well, I've got some errands to run before I head to the airport. I hope everyone has a great day. I'll try to get on tonight or tomorrow and post pictures of Jake and Spencer.

Still a bit bummed today about my friends little boy. Just sent a card and ordered some flowers to go to the funeral home. I wish I could stop thinking about it.

Feeling weak again today...like my legs and arms are going to give out and surprise, surprise...I am on the verge of dozing off! Hopefully at my appt tomorrow, they have some answers for me.

Jenn, she was smiling right away (you know, in her sleep and stuff), but her first REAL smile was on Mother's Day. So, she was 1 month and 2 days.

Chels, did you pull out any of your baby pics? Alison does look like Rob, but she looks like me when I was a baby, too.. she has my mouth (and smirk

CHELSEA - Babies change SO much! When Anna was born, she looked JUST like Hank. I'd get comments all the time about how she was a female version of him... Even a waitress said she must look like her daddy (he wasn't with us)... But now, she looks a lot more like me... I'd say about half mom/half dad now... LOL!

DAR - Yeah, he's doing the gas smiles, and smiling in his sleep too... I'm just waiting for a "real" one.

Chels- Cute pics! LOL I noticed your DH and mine wear the same undies. LOL

I'm getting really nervous now. I have no clue how I'm going to handle 2 kids, a newborn and a puppy all day long, each day in the summer. When I had DD, my son went to daycare a few days a week so I had some alone time with her. Now DS will be out of school. He will be in full days come Sept and DD will go 2x a week to preschool 3 hrs each. DH leaves at 7am if not earlier and gets home after 10:30. I'm going to go insane. I think my dreams of BFing this one and having it work are going down the tubes.

Well, wishing everyone a good short week. I'm still recovering from taking the kids and my nephew to six flags on Sunday.

Spencer is doing ok. He is still recovering from surgery and on the ventilator. They're weaning the meds used to sedate him though, so hopefully he can get back on the cannula and off the vent today or tomorrow.

I bought my first Bravado bra online, but then found my second in a store at the hospital called "Expressly for you" (obviously a breastfeeding store). Maybe they have one of those location finder things on their homepage.

Becca ~ You will figure it out. I have faith in you. I am sorry this pregnancy and the thought of having this baby freaks you out so much. You are such a huge help here with your tips and all, I am sure you will be fine.

So, I give up!! Dr's just called and my thyroid test came out fine. So, that is not what is making me tired/weak. I have an appt tomorrow with the nurse practitioner, whom I have only met once. Hopefully she has some advice because this tiredness is killing me!!

Mandy - that's so awesome that Jake is coming home. You must be so thrilled to see him and to have his support in person! I hope you have an awesome visit and that Spencer continues to grow strong while his Daddy is here.

Amy - did you try eating more protein to see if that made any difference with your tiredness levels?

Becca -

- you're going to be very busy. Can you enroll your kids in any summer programs so that you get a break for a few hours a day? Or bring a mother's helper in to do a few chores around the house and help entertain the kids? I'm wondering how I will cope with one!

Luna - you're getting close now!!

I'm off to the doc this morning for my regular check up. I hope I get to hear the heartbeat. It's been almost a month since my ultrasound and it would be great to get some confirmation that all is still well in there. I can't wait to be able to feel the baby moving around so I won't have to worry quite as much. Then again, I guess I will just find something else to worry about.

Have fun, Kaillean.. yes, there is always something to worry about.

I always took solace in the fact that, if I'm not noticing much (i.e. no pain, bleeding, etc.), then all is well. It's when you do notice something that there is something wrong.

Amy, how have you been doing with Sara moving? Does it still freak you out? As weird as it is, I kind of miss it. Especially being back at work, since she's no longer with me.

Dar ~ I am a little better with the moving, but I am still not crazy about it. It is nice to have the reassurance, but I am not sure I like the feeling. Now on top of the kicks, I am getting pressure. Like her foot or hand is pressing on my stomach.

So, basically I wouldn't say I like the feeling, but I am getting used to it.

Start Date: Who the heck knows...	CHELSEA - Babies change SO much! When Anna was born, she looked JUST like Hank. I'd get comments all the time about how she was a female version of him... Even a waitress said she must look like her daddy (he wasn't with us)... But now, she looks a lot more like me... I'd say about half mom/half dad now... LOL! DAR - Yeah, he's doing the gas smiles, and smiling in his sleep too... I'm just waiting for a "real" one.

Becca ~ You will figure it out. I have faith in you. I am sorry this pregnancy and the thought of having this baby freaks you out so much. You are such a huge help here with your tips and all, I am sure you will be fine. So, I give up!! Dr's just called and my thyroid test came out fine. So, that is not what is making me tired/weak. I have an appt tomorrow with the nurse practitioner, whom I have only met once. Hopefully she has some advice because this tiredness is killing me!!

I love photo days! What a bunch of cutie patooties. Mandy - that's so awesome that Jake is coming home. You must be so thrilled to see him and to have his support in person! I hope you have an awesome visit and that Spencer continues to grow strong while his Daddy is here. Amy - did you try eating more protein to see if that made any difference with your tiredness levels? Becca - - you're going to be very busy. Can you enroll your kids in any summer programs so that you get a break for a few hours a day? Or bring a mother's helper in to do a few chores around the house and help entertain the kids? I'm wondering how I will cope with one! Luna - you're getting close now!! I'm off to the doc this morning for my regular check up. I hope I get to hear the heartbeat. It's been almost a month since my ultrasound and it would be great to get some confirmation that all is still well in there. I can't wait to be able to feel the baby moving around so I won't have to worry quite as much. Then again, I guess I will just find something else to worry about. BBL

I always took solace in the fact that, if I'm not noticing much (i.e. no pain, bleeding, etc.), then all is well. It's when you do notice something that there is something wrong. Amy, how have you been doing with Sara moving? Does it still freak you out? As weird as it is, I kind of miss it. Especially being back at work, since she's no longer with me.

It is nice to have the reassurance, but I am not sure I like the feeling. Now on top of the kicks, I am getting pressure. Like her foot or hand is pressing on my stomach. So, basically I wouldn't say I like the feeling, but I am getting used to it.
