Keeping personals short today...I feel like crud. Between the stomach pains on Sunday night and this darn cold, I haven't slept two nights in a row. I am so tired I just want to cry.

Alli ~ I think everything is okay with my manager. We spoke and came to understandings. Now I just have to tell him that I am leaving early yet again tomorrow.

Becca ~ Sorry the dog thing is tough on you. I can't imagine having to train a puppy right now...especially a rough one. And, yeah!! I have been getting a lot of heartburn lately. Didn't really question why though. I am not uncomfortable with her like that. I feel fine. But, I do get out of breath easier lately. I am always telling friends and DH to slow down when I am walking with them. I feel like they walk so fast...although, it's probably just me walking to slow.

Well, I will lurk a bit today. To make matters worse, the girl I work with called in sick today so on top of feeling like crud, I have double the work load.

Where is everyone? Seems most of our chatty ladies had had their babies and the thread has slowed down a bit.

I am not feeling well today. So now I guess it the am I pregnant guessing game. Yesterday I was so freaking tired at work. We had stayed up late on the weekend, but there is no way I should have been THAT tired yesterday. Now, today I feel like I am going to throw up. Maybe it was the chicken I ate this morning though? How knows. I am 11DPO and am not sure I can hold out until 18DPO to test.

A friend of mine at work had her baby yesterday. She was due 7/25/05. She'd had a rough pregancy. Jaxson weighed in at 2 pounds, 8oz and is on a vent. A few ladies from work are going to see them tomorrow. I am not even sure what to say to her. Her daughter was born early too, so she has been through this before.

Louise -- ooooeeeee! It's sounding good. Don't you hate this part? It's so hard to decide if you're really feeling something or if your mind is making your body do weird things. You certainly have more patience than I do! I couldn't hold out past 9 dpo. Do your boobs feel tender at all? That was the biggest clue for me, because mine don't get sore with PMS. I also had some pulling/light cramping feelings. Oh I hope this is your month! That's too bad about your friend. I can't imagine the worry she must be going through.

Amy -- sorry you're tired. I know how you feel. I haven't been sleeping well either, and it really takes a toll. I'm sure it's worse for you being so much farther along.

Martha - so glad you checked in. How are your blues? Any brighter? Glad to hear Logan is doing well. Can't wait to see your pics.

Chelsea -- Payton must be keeping you busy, too. When do we get to hear your birth story? I didn't miss it did I?

GoJ~~ I couldnt stop laughing when I was reading your post about Hamilton *Snort*... I came home from the hospital thinking myself a pro when it came to diaper changing since I have two boys already (yeah okay!) It seems when they are in diapers they have perfect aim! it hits you everytime no matter how much you scream and dodge and as they get older their aim gets worse or they are just seeing if they can spell their name while going to the pee in the potty! I believe DH plays this game also.. I'd like to spank him for this but I'm afraid I would end up PG again ... I've yet to figure out how something so tiny can get poo clear up to his neck?! I now know why it is called a "changing table"! not only is the diaper being changed but the clothing along with it for the tenth time and it's not even bed time! heck I'm lucky if its mid morning As of today I've been pee'ed on crapped on and lets not forget my favorite... puked on! is this what they mean when they say "Oh, the joys of motherhood" is that a sarcastic statment?.. On a more serious note Ethan was ony 5lb8oz when I brought him home from the hospital and I found that I had the same problems with diapers! but I would fold them over (on the outside) and then pull the tabs very tightly but not so tight that he turns blue..lol I also liked the swaddlers. Hamilton is the cutest chicken I've ever seen!

Ames~~ Grant is getting so big! he is a doll.. I keep saying time sure does fly and everytime I see pictures it seems to have gone by so fast! I remember when we were all posting belly shots..lol now you couldnt get me to post a belly shot !

Martha!! It's so good to see you check in! are you feeling better these days? I skipped the post partum blues but I have to tell you I'm doing the meat/egg fast and my husband said he rather me have the blues..lol He thinks I look at him like he's a rump roast.. Good to hear that Logan is exercising his lungs!


Kaillean~~ Try to get as much sleep as possible! Ethan is 2.5 months and I think the last good night sleep I got was on my honeymoon....Oh thats right I didnt sleep on my honeymoon thats how I got Ethan..lmao The last good sleep I got was right before I got pregnant with my 9yr old ..

Well, everything measured at exactly 37 weeks on the ultrasound. In fact now they are saying the baby is at 7 pounds! I still have almost 3 weeks till my due date - hoping she won't be 10 pounds!

Shelly, Ethan looks so happy in all his pictures! And I agree with the others, he has beautiful eyes!

Hello all. Sorry I haven't checked in like I should. We had some drama over the weekend. I started having some bleeding. The amniotic fluid I've been leaking has become very red (instead of pink) as well. Spencer also hasn't been doing very well on his non stress tests. He doesn't move very often since I lost all my fluid again a few weeks ago.

Dr. S said she thinks we'll do a c-section on Friday. This Friday! She is going to wait to see what Dr. C says about the u/s today, but she said between the bleeding, bloody fluid, and low movement she'd rather be safe than sorry. I could potentially be out of the hospital by this time next week!

I'll bbl for personals.

Ethan is so cute, Shelly! Thanks for the tips on the sleep. If you were trying to make me feel better, it didn't work! I love my sleep and am not yet resigned to the fact I'll be getting very little of it. You always sound like you're in such good spirits. No wonder your little guy looks so happy -- he's got a really optimistic mom! Tell me you do have your blue days...or I might have to hate you!

Becca, I'm feeling a little better today, thanks for asking. I didn't do so good foodwise (leftover pasta from the weekend that I HAD to eat and a peanut butter and jam sandwich!), but got a bit of work done, so that relieved some of my anxiety. I'm the world's worst procrastinator and even though I know how bad it makes me feel I keep doing it. That's the definition of stupidity right? Doing the same thing and expecting a different result?!

Anyway, I'm back on plan so far today. I do fine when I stick with WASA bread, all sorts of veggies, the odd piece of a good whole grain bread, fruit and milk for my extra carbs. More carbs than that, and I lose all self-control and feel so uncomfortably bloated and gross I can't stand it. But the way my mood takes such a bad turn is the worst of all.

I've been so lucky with almost no morning sickness though, so that makes staying mostly low carb much easier, I know. I feel for you guys who have to battle m/s for weeks and weeks. I would eat whatever I could too. Nausea is no fun.

Mandy -- thinking of you. I guess you must have mixed feelings about the c-section on Friday. You're maybe glad to have SOMETHING happening, but I'm sure you wish Spencer could stay inside a little longer. How much is he likely to weigh when he is born. With all the new technology now, I'm sure he will be okay. Many good vibes coming your way.

Luna - that's great everything is on track. You're getting so close now! Are you mostly excited or mostly scared? How is your DH doing?

Well, it might REALLY not be too much longer now for me... aside from the little clues, like the fact that she's dropped, I'm *glowing* apparently, and just a general *feeling* of having a May baby, the last couple days I've been having contractions off and on... nothing long lasting or regular really... but they're real contractions, feeling just like when I had my DD... and today I lost a really good size chunk of my plug... she HAS to stay in until Friday when I'm considered full-term for my homebirth... but I'd prefer it if she could wait until my mom gets here on May 26th... so May 27th or 28th would be ideal! ~crosses my fingers~ I've put myself on self-imposed semi-bed rest until closer to when I'd feel more comfortable... no more going for long walks, or even just to the mall to wander... I'm taking it easy for a while now!

I think if someone says that to me I'd have to reply with "Oh! I feel so sorry for you and your baby!"... let 'em wonder about THAT! ~laughs~ I do figure that now that this baby has made everyone run around like crazy getting everything we need for her arrival she'll just laugh at us and come a few weeks late... she is, after all, my DD, and that's something I'd do if I could ~laughs~

Dr. C was in and is NOT recommending a c-section this week. There were a few little (and I do mean little) pockets of fluid and Spencer was still making breathing movements so he feels like Spencer will probably be ok for a while. The final decision will lay with Dr. S, but I think she will probably wait since that was Dr. C's assessment. All the good c-section times were booked up for Friday anyway, LOL.
