Hey, everyone,

I figured it was close enough to Monday, so I started the thread.

We had a good weekend here. Friday night we went to a friend's house in Dade City for a cookout/frisbee practice. We brought both dogs, so it was tiring and stressful, but also fun. After dinner, everyone played Beyond Balderdash, except me since I had a fussy baby to tend to. I would have totally sucked at the game, anyways.. I'm not creative enough.

Saturday was very busy. We competed in another frisbee competition with both of our dogs. It was really tiring, dealing with both dogs plus baby, but we managed! Molly, my crazy Aussie, did better than we thought she would. She stresses out easily, but she had a few good catches with Rob and actually remembered to return the frisbee a few times!

To top it off, Caena took first AND second! And, I got first!!!! Yep, Rob got second, and he's not happy. LOL... Just kidding, but he keeps telling me that I wore her out so she didn't perform well for him.

So, today has been spent being very lazy and recovering. I didn't even change out of my pj's.

Good morning ladies!

Dang nabbit, I think TOM showed up today. I can't be sure though, because I had enough flow to fill a light pad and now it seems to have disapeared. I'm just wondering if I am indeed ovulating, but breastfeeding is limiting the flow? This is the third time I've spotted since my postnatal flow stopped, but today it was bright red and the other two times it was pink. I don't know, but I'm scared to death of getting pregnant again, since we are only gonna rely on condoms and spermacide till we decided to try for baby #2 next year. I refuse to take any more pills because of the way the hormones were messing with me before I went off them and I don't want my milk to dry up. And to think I was beginning to think that it might be nice and I might be comfortable enough down south to try having sex again....probably me ovulating making me want some. At least my husband is too tired to care about sex right now so I have more time to get comfortable with the idea.

Well, TOM disappeared on Sunday and with it...took TWO POUNDS!! Saw it gone again today so I willingly claimed it!

Crazy week ahead with hubby's schedule...he works 1 day 1st shift, 2 days 2nd shift and 3 days 3rd shift. I feel for him with the sleeping and am trying to help in any way possible...it definitely has all 3 of us rattled so it will be nice when he's done training and strictly on 3rd shift so we all can make the adjustment. This is my "short" week of 3 days only, 2 off then the 7 day week from hell LOL. But I'm looking forward to only working 3 days this week with the boss.

Elana is doing so well!! She's gobbling up her baby food and loves to sit up every chance she gets. Her two bottom teeth are coming up fine and she's very aware of them. I can't believe she's a week away from being 5 months old already

HI MOMMIES!!!!

I have really been awol lately, but we are all well and fine!! The girls are sweet and precious- Gracie turns four on the 24th and we are having a princesss fress up party, complete with some of my musical friends who will be dressing up as Ariel, Sleeping beauty, snow white and singing for us! We can't wait!! Ellie is so big and funny- she is almost 17 months and is wearing a 3T- she is so tall and solid, and she is really talking a lot. I will post some pictures later! Dh is still prince charming, working hard and spoiling me rotten.

As for me, I have not weighed in a while- I had TOM last week and I have been working out like crazy. I try to only weigh once a week, so maybe tomorrow. All my clothes are big- it's about time! However, Everyone I see (especially at church yesterday- strange?) has commented- "wow, how much weight have you lost?" it makes me feel good- but I let people now that I have gotten stronger, firmer, leaner, I hate for my daughters to hear that I need to be "skinny" such a rotten word. I want to be strong and healthy!!And yes, not to brag, but after a lot of hard work, it is nice to have a four pack (almost 6 pack- it's coming) tummy again. I have been teaching step to other instructors 3 or 4 times a week to prepare for the class launch next Monday. I am so excited!! I will complete my Yoga certification this weekend and my first class is June 3rd!

So sorry I have not been around- My sister in love is now 35 1/2 weeks and still on complete bed rest. I make dinner for our 2 families daily. My mother in love has completely recovered from leukemia and her bone marrow transplant, but she had an infected blood clot in her neck on Mother's Day and had to be rushed to the hospital. Praise God, she is fine and healthy and we celebrated last night with a low country boil at our house. So between that, the girls, church, and my hot DH, I have been so busy! I will try to be around more!

Good morning everyone!! Had a pretty good weekend!! There were a couple things I shouldn't have eaten, like a few chips at the Mexican resturant and a frosty at Wendys, but I only ate half of a Jr one (they were free this weekend), can you tell I feel guilty!!???
DH spent the majority of Saturday buying a car, WHY does it take 6 hours??? So annoying!!!! Before he left we cleaned up the yard, so hot here after 11 that we started working out there at 7AM!!! A bunch of other neighbors were out there too so we didn't feel like we were waking anyone
Dar- Great pics Alison is a cutie and what a fun activity to do with your dogs!!

Ames- Grant is adorable!! The whole TOM thing totally stinks!!!! I got mine when Madison was about 4 months, I thought you weren't supposed to get it, or for it to be light when you are B/Fing, not the case for me it is WAY worse!!!!

Chelle- Great job on the loss!!! Wish my scale would start moving again!!!! Souds like your schedule is prett darn crazy, hope things start getting back to normal. Elana is soooo cute and that pool looks soooo good!!

Joy- Nice to meet you!! Seems like you keep yourself very busy, I envy people with your enthusiasm for working out!!! I NEED to find the time!!! I know it will be better for my whole well being!!

Kristen- The bachelorette party looked like a blast!!! Man haven't been to one of those in a long while!!! This coming weekend a bunch of girls in the neighborhood are going out for my birthday, I turn the dreaded 30 on Wednesday!!! So I know I will be having a few, but hopefully I can get some wings and a salad for food, so I totally don't blow it LOL!!

Morning ladies... Up at 6:30 today. YUK! I know I shouldn't complain, but I am SO not a morning person. I do know I am lucky, though, to spend all this morning time with Eli (and day and afternoon time!).. and wouldn't have it any other way. We had a great weekend. Basically been packing away for our trip. It never ceases to amaze me how much stuff a little guy requires! There's so much to think about what you all need for a whole week!

Has anyone given their babies Childrens Benadryl? I've read to give it to them before a flight to make them sleepy (hope nobody flames me!!)... I'm so nervous about this flight. Any suggestions? He's not really into many toys.. just likes to explore. He doesn't like books yet (AT ALL!). I don't know what to do.....

Dar... Awe! All 3 of your girls are precious... (you know I have a special place in my heart for border collies!... ). I love the stroller pic.. too cute!

Ames... Grant is also too cute!!! I was one of the unfortunate people to get TOM around 6 weeks even though I was exclusively BFing. It's just not fair! I don't do the pill thing either... just dumptruck!

Chelle... Oh, how did Elana like her pool time? Looks like you were enjoying it! That is a really rough work schedule. Does that only last this week? I hope so... for all your sakes!

Joye... SO good to see you miss! Sounds like you've been aweful busy. Wow. Glad to hear MIL is okay and recovering well. I didn't know your SIL was on bedrest... how come? That has got to be hard. It's bad enough waiting when you can do things to keep yourself busy... I think it's time for some new pics of you and the fam! I can't believe Ellie is in a 3T!! Although Eli is in some 2T, and he's a scrawny little thang.. so I guess!! How exciting classes are starting..!!

You may want to try a little on him before you go, it really used to wind up Elliott. I've heard a lot of people say that too, it can really effect kids both ways. We flew with Elliott from Boston to Denver when he was 11 months, and he didn't care about books or anything either. We had lots of crackers, and drinks. We had a few small toys we bought just for that so they would be new to him, but he was more intersted in looking around, and checking everybody and everything out. By the way where are you going?

I had a cheat free weekend, but didn't do very well with the h20, oh well I'll just keep trying. I've also got to try to get some kind of exercise in this week. I don't have any videos and a gym is out of the question, we just can't afford it right now. I love to walk but it has done nothing but rain for like 3 weeks - seriously What kinds of things do you guys do?

I'm not sure what I've lost, I still don't have a scale. However things are starting to feel bigger like my rings. I've also noticed that the towel wraps a little further around me when I get out of the shower.

Well gotta go find something to eat, maybe eggs again I'll be back sometime, today I also have Jamie coming around lunch time. She's pretty easy though she and Elliott play really well together, she was 4 right before christmas.

Hey, I think I am going to like this new location! No digging through to find us!

I had an eventful weekend! Bekah fell out of her crib on Sunday morning. So, we dismantled her crib and now she is sleeping on her crib mattress on the floor. She loves going in and playing on it...don't know if that's a good thing or not.
But, she went to sleep on it last night and didn't cry and I didn't hear her walking around in her room. We opened the connecting doors through the bathroom to our room just in case she needed to get to us.
I checked on her at 10:45 right before I went to bed and she was lying like this:

So, I straightend her out and covered her up:


I checked her again at 3:00 and she was lying with her head against the wall and her feet off the side of the bed....LOL

Once she gets used to sleeping in a bed without bars we will move her into the twin bed that's in the room.

I was a mess last night. I just kept getting teary eyed as I thought of her growing up and not in a crib anymore! I can't even imagine what I will be like when she graduates or gets married! LOL

Liz, I didn't cheat this weekend! woohoo! I didn't do very well on water though. Great Judson pictures! Elliot loves his cars huh? My brothers wore out so many knees on their jeans building roads and driving their little cars and trucks on them!

TOM showed up last night (that might have something to do with the tears too) and my scale is up 4 #'s this morning! So, I am up 4 #'s and didn't cheat....last weekend I was up 4#'s on Monday and I had pizza and ice cream! This just doesn't seem equitable! LOL
I hope to have a whoosh soon!

I got my petunias in the ground but still have snapdragons, tomatoes and basil to put in. I also bot a terracotta pot and we put Bekah's handprints on the side of it for her babysitter. I will put some pretty little flowers in it and give it to her at the end of the school year.

Dar~ Thanks for getting us started! Great pictures! Alison is really growing! Was the stroller pic. from the frisbee competition? My brother used to breed and train border collies. I used to love watch his dogs working the sheep! They are such smart dogs! Caena looks quite proud of her medals!
Was it you that was wondering about Martina McBride? She grew up about 20 miles from me. I used to watch her perform with her Dad's band when I was in high school and college. She won a humanitarian award from HOme Depot and got to chose a town to have a playground built in.....she chose Medicine Lodge, Kansas. It is about 7 miles from Sharon, KS, the town she grew up in.
She did a couple of benefit concerts while she was in town for the playground build and dedication. My sister and I made her a wheat wreath......to thank her for putting Kansas on the map! LOL She's a farmer's daughter and really liked it!

Hey Joye, It sounds like you have been incredibly busy! You have a 4 pack! WOW! I think I have a pony keg....does that count? I am happy to hear your mom is doing well! A low country boil sounds like a lot of fun...and Gracie's party sounds like a blast! Can I come too!
Ellie is a big girl, indeed! I need to see some pictures please of Gracie, Ellie and you! Oh....don't forget that hottie husband of yours too!

Hey Dawn, I certainly won't flame you. I always give Bekah decongestant before a flight! You never know if your child is going to actually suck at the right time to help those ears! Or if they might fall asleep right before you take off! I say do it....and don't fret about it! Eli's ears will thank you!

I did quite a bit of yardwork on Saturday too! I only wish our neighbors would do more to their lawns!

Today is UBWO day.

Mason is AT WORK. He started today! I cannot tell you the feeling of relief that I have. THANK GOD! I will find out today if he gets benefits, and then will know if I need to quit my job or not. Man, I'm really stressed about that, but we both feel that I should take this opportunity. As they say, opportunity knocks once.

Liz- I am sorry- I messed up in my post and told Beth she had great pics on the weekend thread and it was you- My bad. Do you have on-demand on your cable system. I have been doing workout on there- It is great- If not maybe you could set your VCR to tape a couple of excercise programs that are on TV during the day.

Cecilia- Great pics- It is hard letting them go to a big bed- I felt the same way when Jessica moved to a big girl bed. We can't keep them babies forever. Thanks for saying my mom and I look alike- I laugh when I hear that because I am adopted.

Sarah- Great job on the loss- You are doing so great. This is the first week I didn't lose anything- I don't know what is wrong- just a little stall- so I am doing the meat/egg fast for 3 days to see if it breaks my stall. Kristin: Tanner is FINALLY feeling better. We took him to the doc again on Friday and he had an ear infection. Poor guy! They gave him antibiotics and he is doing much better. FINALLY!

Cecilia- Bekah is such a cutie!!! Don't you just love moving the little ones to the "big beds"!!! We just took the guard off of Bradens twin bed so he hasn't fallen out of bed yet!!! It has been about a month!! The car thing.......well my hubby had a company car (explorer) with the job he got laid off from....so....he WANTED a truck, so we had this big Dodge quad cab, not really condusive to families!!! So when he go laid off the explorer went bye bye. Got a new job, needed a new car, so he bought a Honda Accord, for work, still had the truck.....so we traded it in for a GMC Envoy!!! I LOVE IT!!! So much better than that truck!!! He has gotten better at the car buying thing, they actually sold the Envoy to us under invoice, so we thought that was good. Sorry that took so long to explain.

Sarah- That is wonderful loss!!!!! You should be so proud of yourself!!!!

Well, just got on the scale and I am down 1 more pound!!! I WILL TAKE IT!!

Good morning ladies...!! I had a GREAT weekend, but was so tired I went to bed at 9:00 p.m. last night!!LOL I'll have to post pics later!! I was really scared to jump on the scale this morning to see the damage...but I did anyway. I was at 154.8! I'm so glad I didn't really do damage. Gonna try to drink 200 oz of water today and flush all that nasty sugar demons out! Anyway, can't wait to get back into the gym today!! Man I love working out, and really miss it when I don't go....I'm glad I only missed 2 days!!

Ames-What a cutie pie. I'm sorry I can't really be a help on the TOM thingy!! I'm actually wishing I would get mine cause I think it might help with weightloss (after you have it)!!

Chelle-Hey, I missed chatting with you this weekend. I'm sorry hubbies schedule is so screwed up...I hope things settle down soon!! Elana is ADORABLE, as usual. Our babies are getting soooo big!! For some reason every new thing Jonathan does makes me happy and sad this time around...maybe it is cause I know he is my last baby!!

Dawn-Sorry I'm not much help on the flight thing...I've only flown once in my life!! I'm with Cecilia, and would give it to him anyway even if you could have the "hyper" effect cause it will still help his ears!! What about letting him suck on a sucker or something like that during takeoff?? Don't know if it would be much of a help but you could try it!! You better take lots of pics so we can all "go" on your trip with you!!!

Liz-Awww..those pics are too cute. I just have to say though (please don't get mad), I would make sure you have the parents permission before put their childs photo on the web!! Oh, and great job on the cheat free weekend (I'm not even discussing mineLOL)!! I've found that with water you just have to MAKE yourself drink it. I carry around (at the house) a gallon jug off water and constantly sip all it all day. Then while working out I try to drink 75 oz!!

Hi Vanessa- Good to see you. What week are you guys in for the BFL challenge? I didn't workout this or walk at lunch. Alexander was up almost all last night- I don't know why he normally sleep all night long- I think he might be getting in more teeth. I am so tired. I had to run to Target to look for shoes for Jessica- We finally got her dress for the wedding back from the seamstress and the shoes a bought don't go well. Target didn't have anything so I will have to go to the mall tonight.

Hey, Kristen, we are on week 7, day 43!! I'm still doing the BFL workouts with weights, but I increased my cardio a little bit!! The workout for the weights are GREAT...!!! I love how my muscles are sooooooo fatigued afterwards!! It is an awesome program! I wish we had a mall here!! We have to drive 2 to 2 1/2 hours to get to a mall!!
