Dena ~ Wow what a whirl wind day you had... what a wonderful Anniversary gift for you and Jonathan!! Guess your mom got there just in time!! Cant wait to read your story and see pics of you little man when you are feelin' up to it!!

Kaillean ~ Glad to hear that I am not the only one that has a looser sister... how can 2 siblings be SO different? Is yours older or younger?

Didn’t feel very good today think that just par for the coarse at this point of pregnancy. My coochie bone feels like it is splittin' in half... awww man!! Have an appt at 11 in the morning with the midwife, first time meeting with one as my Dr is on vacation. Guess I will find out if I passed my group B test. Wonder what else will go on at the appt, not sure what DD they are going to go by as far as inducing and tests are concerned. Will ask her about the hiccup thing, if I remember, I do have to remember to get a stronger prescription for my roids' cause if they are this bad now I can just imagine how awful they will be after delivery. Well off to eat something and catch up on my junk mail pile while watchin' my soaps I TiVo'd the last few days. See you all after my appt!!

Not much to say right now... I'm pretty tired and wanting to go to bed... I've been pretty darn emotional these last couple days and it's really wearing me down... plus having her grind her head into my cervix all day isn't the most pleasant either! Especially since we live on the third floor, so climbing the stairs with her head so low is, well, quite honestly a funny sight to see ~laughs~ I swear I look like I'm climbing stairs with wet pants!

Chelsea ~ I don't have a lot of girl stuff...I just registered for a lot of girl stuff. My doctor said if the doctor who told me she was 99% sure it was a girl said that, then she was pretty positive. They usually won't guess at a girl. She told me not to worry.

Amy ~ Maybe as you get closer you could just sleep at the bottom of the stairs? I know how you feel. I lived on the second floor and I was pooped even with that.

Hey question for you ladies. I have read so many different things. When the heck does the 3rd trimester start?? My book "Your Pregnancy Week by Week" says I am now at 27 weeks in the 3rd trimester but in other places it says 29 weeks.

So, I am EXHAUSTED today. Yesterday was so emotional. Long story short, I called my prior landlord on an issue that I had with money that she owed me and she totally lost it and called me a Pig and told me that eveyone knew it and that I was sneaky because I was looking at apartments without telling her. All kinds of stuff. If you want to read more as to what the issue was I had a post yesterday on the PG. She basically hung up on me yesterday and I was furious when I got off the phone. I was shaking and crying and panting!! I have never been so mad. Looks like this isn't over. I WILL get what is rightfully mine and if I have to teach her a lesson and file a small claim against her, I will. She can't walk all over people and get away with it. It isn't my fault that I, the tenant, know the law better than her, the landlord.

Sorry for the rant.

He's a pretty good baby, but wants to be on the booby all day long. I sterilized a pacifier and gave it to him for a minute to get a break. I think he just has a high sucking need. So, I still nurse him for the most part, but give him the pacifier when I need a mini break.

Anna still doesn't know what to think. She kinda thinks he's interesting, because she pokes at him. She tries to lay on him too... GAH!

I have a little gripping to do: I am at the end of my 16th week and have sailed through this pregnancy so far with no complaints. All of a sudden this morning I was so nausous!! I couldn't even go to work today. I thought that once I got out of my first trimester, there would be no morning sickness. Has anyone else experienced this?

Congratulations GoJackets and Jennifer! Best of luck to you guys I am on a dial up so I will have to read the birth stories later. I am at the hospital with Pitocin dripping in my arm, nothing yet and it is up to 22gtts the nurse said they can go as high as 30 and if nothing happens by 6:00 they will turn it off give me a suppository over night and start again tomorrow. (it is 12:00 now) Last night we got here at 7:30 and they were to busy to do the suppository so we were here over night for nothing! YIKES please send some labor vibes! I will try to check in later.

4 weeks old!!


We had our one month appointment today. Dr. referred us to an opthamologist because her eyes are always watery and goopy, and also just to check her because the staining is also over her eyes. Otherwise, it was a good appointment.. she was very well behaved. A far cry from her first appointment where she screamed her head off. She's grown a 1/2 inch long! Why is it so wonderful to watch them grow, but also so painful?

Amy, I'm a landlord in MI. Laws here are very different. We have a Security Deposit Act of 1972 (not sure but I think it's a state law) which spells out in detail what must be done with the security deposit and how. Let me tell you if a landlord doesn't follow the rules they WILL get busted here. Make sure you watch your time. We have rules as to how many days you have to file certain paperwork. Get yourself to legal aid or some other organization in your state specific that can help you. On a personal note her behavior in response to your questioning the security was terrible and her bad mouthing you to another tenant was true poor form. Obviously they have no idea how to do business. It gives everyone else out there a bad name. I have a hunch this will end up being an expensive lesson learned for them. Most importantly relax as much as you can your pregnant.

All is well here. My appointment yesterday was okay. BP is good, weight it good, hb's sounded good etc. . He doesn't want to schedule anything yet, he thinks I'm just going to go. If I make it past 35 weeks we'll schedule. I am GIGANTIC! I'll have to have dh take a picture later and post it.

~Chels - I am going for the French. I was going to pm you but what the heck I'll ask here. Should I have dh do a little trim before I go? I haven't been able to see down there for quite awhile LOL. I thought I read somewhere that you don't want it too long . I can't believe how much this is consuming me LOL.

~Dar - She's still adorable and growing so fast . It's funny about her hair, ds used to love to get his hair washed. If he was real fussy or something, dh would hold him over the sink and run the water to pretend he was washing his hair and he'd calm down .

~ Tammeli - Seems to me it can happen at anytime in the pregnancy, but it usually won't last too long later on.

~ Jefinner - It's good to see you here so soon . I haven't looked at the video yet, but will later. I'm glad to hear he is nursing so well.

~ Amy - Sorry to hear about your landlord. I learned very early in my rental days that when I was leaving I would tell them to keep my security for my last months rent. I would start small claims now rather than later, maybe she'll just cave and give it back to you once she gets the papers. Did you take pictures before and after? Hang in there. Not sure about the 3rd trimester, just go by what's on our list .

Thanks for all the well wishes with the situation with my previous landlord. I am really upset by it. I try to be a good tenant and the fact that she is pulling this is sad. It's sad that she thought/thinks that all she has to do is buy a house, rent it out, make some money and that tenants have no rights. It's sad that I know more about the laws than she does. But hey...I guess if she gives me issues I will have to "teach" her the law.

I called the MA Consumer Affairs and basicall, I won't ramble on, but my landlord doesn't have a leg to stand on. She never did things that by law, she was required to do. There is no way she could get the deposit back and even if I did "damage" the apartment, because she didn't do certain things, the Security Deposit she would be entitled to is essencially null and void.

Just a small rant/vent.

I've been feeling so down lately... it just kinda hit me a few days ago... I think I'm just feeling overwhelmed... SOOOO much is going on this month and the beginning of June... we have to finish packing to move, my mom and DD get back on May26th, we actually move on June 1st, Steven (DH's best friend and *techincally* nephew*) gets back from Iraq on May7th, welcome home BBQ on May 8th, baby shower May 14th, sometime the end of May or early June is my friend's baby's 1st b-day party, June 4th my mom's movers arrive with her stuff, we have to find a storage unit on property somewhere that is big enough but also close enough to make my mom happy, DD has testing for class placement on June 1st, have to prepare DD for the birth, I still have to finish getting everything for the baby (stroller, car seat, crib, diapers, etc), and somehow find some time for myself to relax and try not to get so stressed. I'm scared that Kayden may choose to come at the worst time... anytime after May 20th she can come and still be born at home... but between May 26th and June 7th (to give us a little time to settle in to the new apartment) I basically will feel like I don't HAVE a home because everything will be such a mess for moving. Ugh... I just wanted to be able to relax this month and not have to do anything... just prepare emotionally for a new baby... instead, well... everything is happening all at once. I feel like I barely have time to breathe, let alone relax. ~sighs~

Chelsea: My sister had a good 'roids tip. She said to get some of the Tucks pads and keep them in the fridge. She had them really bad during and after delivery but they eventually went away.

Jefinner: I can't believe you are online already! Sounds like everything is going well

Tammeli: I have heard that m/s can strike at any time. I never really had anything beyond mild nausea up until now (32 weeks). I actually threw up last week and I've had a few other times when I thought for sure I would, but didn't. Hang in there. See if you can find some Ginger Altoids. They help me when I get queasy.

Hi Alli, Tekla, Mom2two, Raven, Spyder, Babyblue & 2foot2!!!

Not much to report here except that at my dr. appt this morning I had only gained half a pound in 2 weeks. I'm sorry but there's NO WAY that's correct. I have been stuffing my face and I feel like she's sticking further out. I thought for sure I would be up at least 4. Maybe the water aerobics is doing more than just feeling good! BP was fine, heartrate was fine, no news is good news I suppose.

Did anyone feel towards the end that they had round ligament pain all the time? I feel like if I turn too fast, stand up too abruptly, etc. I get that ripping pain I had earlier when I would roll over in bed too fast. I'm guessing it's just more round ligament pain now that my belly is bigger and because I'm fluffy to begin with. It sure is wicked uncomfortable!
