Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes by starting the thread out, but I work nights, and I was bored. *grin*

GoJackets- Nice ring! DH is definately a keeper (as if you were going to give him back?) I'm sorry things are so tense with LittleJackets.... I'm wishing you much luck for the upcoming days, and hoping you'll be able to have the vaginal delivery you want.

Becca- RLS stinks. I had it when I was pregnant the last time, and its the only thing about the pregnancy that I really hated. I hope it improves for you.

Mandy- *crossing fingers for you and Spencer* You're doing a GREAT job! Keep us updated!

Jen- I can't believe that you're still here! That's nuts. I hope that you go soon and get to meet your little one. I know I can't wait for you to share your birth story.

I've been trying to stay busy... cleaning and housework. I've been feeling a little worn down lately, more so than usual. I'm making an effort to excercise, but the urge to be lazy wins out more often than not. *giggles* I feel like I just need a vacation, you know? Maybe I should take one before the little ones show.

Good Morning Mommies!!! I know I asked a few days ago but what are everyone's Mothers Day plans??

Jen ~ Sounds like your little man will be here soon... Wooo Hooo!! Have a question you may or may not know the answer to (anyone else please give your 2 cents) Babies stop respiration of the amniotic fluid a few days before they are born, Payton gets the hiccups at least 3-5 times a day. I would think that once they stop taking the amniotic fluid into there lungs that the hiccups would stop??

Becca ~ like Dena said that’s what we are here for...... talk about complaining did you see that huge post from me yesterday....LOL!! Hope you feel better soon, although as far as you are in your pregnancy it may get worse, please vent to us!! Big hugs going out to you... how are things going with the puppy??

Star ~ take a vacation for sure, both Dena and I went to San Diego... actually missed each other by only a few days...LOL

My mom called me today all chipper about some baby announcements she saw, didn’t even mention my sister. She said I sounded stressed, told her that I was still having issues with my conversation with Courtney. She said not to worry, that she was so pissed that I "had" to get "permission" from David that I probably wont hear from her. We will see!! Just finished sewing curtains for Payton's room..... still wrapping up a few odds and ends that I want to finish, but that don’t HAVE to be done before he gets here. Trying to keep busy without doing too much and wearing myself out. Ran into my stepmom at CostCo, so I guess I should be expecting a call from my sperm donor..... I swear when it rains!! We live 4 cities apart and I was shopping in a city of 150,000 people, what are the odds???...LOL!! Well not going to do my nightly hot tub thing because it is raining and I don’t want to go to bed with a wet head, awwww man!!!! Will be back in the morning to see what's going on with everyone.

Here is the 4-generation from my side....I guess we didn't do one from my mom's side that day...just my dad's.







Tonight is my first night back at work. So far it has been really slow. It took me a half hour to pump...but that was because I was trying to figure out how I was going to set it up and it was a bit awkward sitting in the chair they had in the room...the back was too far back. I had to sit up straight while pumping so I didn't feel like I was falling back. So much for relaxing. I did get 9oz out relatively quickly though once I got set up. I'll go again in a few hours.

Hopefully, I'll avoid any clogged ducts this week. I had two over the weekend when we went out of town...not fun. I don't know if it is my bra or the fact that I was wearing bra pads all day. When I am at home I just wear a cotton tank with a shelf bra and let 'em leak. Oh well, I'll have to be diligent about using warm compress and nursing the little one on that side to get it unclogged so I don't get an infection. That's all I need.

I am soooo happy to be back at work again. I was really starting to miss it. Now, hopefully, that I'll be getting back into a routine I can get serious about losing weight and excercising. I'm thinking about doing the Carb Addict's diet again. I had pretty good success with that a few years ago and lost 20 pounds....although I platued about 15 pounds from my goal and that is why I switched to Atkins, but I really liked it. I really only need to lose 10-15 pounds till I'm done nursing anyway so I think that it will work for me.

Well, that's all from this neck of the woods. I'd better get back to work so I can get most of it done before I need to go pump again. Have a great day ladies.

~Ames - How stinken cute! He's growing so fast. What are you doing with him during the day so you can sleep? My ds was on my lap and when he saw the baby pictures he kept saying "Aww, aww, aww" and was trying to hug the screen LOL.

~Dena - Awesome ring, dh did a great job. He must be a great poker player . Sorry about all the tests and stuff yesterday. Some may disagree, but I feel like the doctor (providing you get a good one and your sounds good) knows what she's talking about. She's obviously delivered many babies. You sound similar to where I was except my water broke before he was ready to come. He was only a week early, but I never really progressed. The doctor would've liked to do a c/s about 24 hours after my water broke but I begged him to let me keep going so he did. Finally, 43 hours after my water broke, he said we needed to go in. I only got to 4cm, I had pitocin too. At least I know I gave it a good try . Hang in there and follow your intuition.

~Chels - I finally made that appointment LOL. The woman said that an American is just the sides and that a French "takes some off the top too". For an extra $20 for the French they ought to braid what's left .
I hope your sister saga is settled at this point. Of course you would check with your husband! After her horrible behavior last time why wouldn't you?

Off to the doctor today. I'll be lucky if I even get to see him . I AM SO SICK OF WAITING in that office! I have to bring ds today because he has an appointment right after, so I have to tell them I can't wait around today. We'll see what happens I guess.

I talked to Jefinner this morning...

Welcome baby Ezra!!! He was born at 4:48 this morning weight 11 lbs 7 ounces! She sounded so, so good. She was upbeat and perky. She said she was tired. The labor was so fast, only lasting 2 1/2 to 3 hours start to finish. She didn't even have to have stitches!

So, my dr's appt went fine. Turns out I am moderatly anemic, not slightly like I though originally. No biggie...just need to keep taking my iron. Heart rate was around 150 and I am measuring on schedule. And my PKU levels are still normal. I have to go next Friday for another glucose test. I relost that pound I had gained last month. So, I am down 7lbs again. So, the best part is, that I get to have another u/s at my next appt on the 16th!! They just want to make sure that the weight loss isn't because there is a problem with the baby. They don't seem concerned though. I am SO excited!! I am hoping they can confirm the "girl status". I am just so nervous that someone screwed up. My dr said they won't usually say that they are 99% sure it's a girl unless they are really sure, so it probably is a girl, but I would like some confirmation now that I am 10 weeks further along.

We had our second opinion today. Looks like Little Jackets isn't growing well. He or she is in the below 10% for growth. We don't know when it stopped getting nourishment, but my fluid is almost gone and we think it is best to get the baby out since it's not getting sustenance from me.

They feel like the baby is fine. We will do the c-section. Both doctors felt that if I had been dilating a little, it might be worth trying the induction....but both felt that the odds are that it would just end up in a c-section after induction with the condition of my cervix - why bother the added stress on me or the baby?

I just want the baby here healthy. I hope that it is.....they are guessing it's going to be around 6 pounds or less. Poor thing.....I hope it hasn't been like this long.

StarFire-- I think you have plenty of reasons to be lazy. I can't imagine having triplets. A lady that used to work with me had twins last summer. She worked full time up until about 33 weeks.

Hello to anyone I missed! I've been lurking. The excitement of the thought of having a baby has sort of worn off for me. You see, up until about 6 months ago I swore I'd NEVER have kids. Didn't want them. Didn't see what all the excitement was. So, for the last several months I've been sort of in shock that I even WANT to have one (or two). Now we are just in the trying stage, which is FUN , but sort of boring too. I am charting now (first cycle charting), so hopefully I will figure out if I am even ovulating. I am trying not to be too stressed out about the entire process.

Okay, back to work!

Chels, I did read your post the other day about your sister. You sure don't need that stress. If she contacts you again maybe you could tell her you and your husband need time to bond with the baby and a visit wouldn't be good.

Dena, you're in my prayers. I'm sure baby will be fine. The NICU people here always tell me that it isn't how much they weigh that is important, it is their lung development. S/he has 40 week lungs, so I'm sure everything is a-ok.

Starfire, I definately think you deserve a vacation before your kiddos arrive. I was planning on going to DC over spring break but I ended up in the hospital before I got to go.
