Chelsea - I need my arse kicked! I didn't take my own advice yesterday and moved some furniture. I am FREAGIN miserable. I'm down in my back for a couple of days. I've done this before, so I should know better, but I got that burst of energy......

Ladies...please don't try to lift stuff. You think you feel great. You feel fine when you do it and don't think about it until several hours later when the pain kicks in. It's not worth it. I ruined my streak of feeling well.

Thought I had an appointment today, but its tomorrow. Hope I feel better by then. I don't want to have to explain what I did.

Dena, make sure you take care of yourself today! I started stripping wallpaper border last night with my DH and decided to call it quits after about 3 ft. He finished and I picked up scraps as they fell.

Far as I can tell it's all about being pregnant!
I thought that you were only tired in the first trimester, then I heard first and third. Well, I am in the second and someone forgot to tell my body the rules. I kept waking last night and could totally snooze right now.

You're pregnant! ~laughs~ That's what's up! A lot of women in the 2nd tri get a lot of their energy back, but not all... I didn't at all with this baby until the 3rd tri.

HI ladies...

Great photo Amy! You look adorable and what a cute top!

I'm not sure what's happened in the last 2 days but I suddenly feel HUGE! I can't get comfy and the joints are starting to ache. I had a prenatal massage yesterday which helped a bit, but I can't wait to get in the pool tonight for water aerobics to see if that helps.

My boss approved my plan to continue working from home 2 days a week for the month of May. I've asked to totally telecommute for the month of June and he's still thinking about it. If he seriously thinks I will come to the office for the 3 weeks before my due date he's nuts! My office is like a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the office! If I went into labor someone from the office would have to drive me. That's just insane. I suppose I can take some vacation or ask my doctor to put me on bed rest if I have to.

Dena, sorry to hear you overdid it. I can totally see how that can happen. I really think my little hospital visit on Sunday was mostly due to too much activity on Saturday with my shower and cleaning the house. DH reads me the riot act if I so much as carry a laundry basket, but sometimes I just can't help myself. I will definitely heed your warning!

The great news is that everything is perfect in there. My amniotic fluid is registering at 13cm, when it's usually 10 or under at this point. I also got an 8 out of 8 (whatever that means, but it's a perfect score... He's healthy). And my placenta is a grade 2... I don't know what that means either, but the sonographer assured me that it was very good.

The not so great news (and by no means bad news) is that he was still respirating. Which is fine, healthwise... Just means he won't be here for at least a couple of days. Babies sort of practice breathing in the womb, and will stop 2-3 days before they're born.

Oh, and he's a football player. He's 10 pounds right now...

Amy looks pregnant! Amy looks pregnant!!! LOL.. I also love that top! I saw some really cute spring and summer maternity clothes, and actually was bummed I missed out on it! But, then I remembered I live in FL and being pregnant in summer would have SUCKED!

Becca, boxers are great dogs.. but ONLY if the family wants it! I'm sure you know that.

Chels, I'd be very interested in seeing the nekkid shots. Not because I'm a pervert (well, I am), but I'd like to see how they turned out. I like photography, but I suck at it. I always need to improve.

Another really bad night last night. Alison was up most of the night fussing. I think I slept about 2 hours or so, one of those on our recliner with her in my arms. She's constipated, I think. Poor baby. She and I finally slept a few hours in the late morning, and I'm going to lay back down in a bit now that I've finally eaten.

Amy...what a cute picture!! And you DEFINITELY look pregnant!!!

I actually have that top too! Motherhood - on clearance! Though I must say that lately all of the tops that I had purchased throughout the second trimester are a bit on the short side! I am trying to get as much use out of them as I can, but I am constantly pulling down at the front of my tops. I've seen women who are very pregnant who have their bare bellies hanging out of their tops and that look just makes me sick! So I am trying very hard to not look like that!!

Hmmm, let's see, what's new since I've written here last?

We have started our prenatal classes (two hours per week for six weeks). Yesterday's class involved a tour of the birthing rooms, which are FAB! Now that I have seen the place where the baby will be born, I actually feel like I can picture the event, so cool!

We had a freebie ultrasound on Monday as a thank-you for participating in a research study. The baby is "in position" and was totally a stinker. He covered his face with his hands AND feet and also pushed his face into the placenta so we couldn't see him! Haha!! We got a couple of good shots though.

I am feeling...well, just okay. I haven't been sleeping much. The baby moves so much that it can be painful and usually keeps me up at night. Both my DH and I are very frustrated with our families right now and the debacle that has become our baby showers. Frankly, I'd rather spend thousands of dollars on baby stuff myself than deal with all of this fighting and crap. My first shower is next Saturday...god help me!

ok so mind you that these are test shoots that i just did in my bedroom with one of my lights and no backdrop, didn't even pull out my tripod... happy with the lighting...i think. I tried to set it up to try to make my belly look bigger than it is. Just not sure if i should hold off so i actually get a bit bigger, although if i wait to long he just might be here. So, a few more months and we're going to start trying for #2. Around Cassidy's first birthday. I want them to be about two years apart. I got pregnant right away, like the first month last time. Just wanted to say hi!

Hi all, just wanted to say that you can take me off the list. I have miscarried, I want to thank everyone for all the advice and help I have gotten but it just wasn't meant to me. Give me a few months to get healthy and back in shape and hopefully I will be back in the pregnancy thread.
