Hey...anyone see my nursery stuff on yesterday's thread? Just wondering what you though. We painted the red accent around the window and door and big bold green blocks that vary in width and next after the green is dry...the blue!! It is looking great!

Feeling blue today. I hate my job right now. My boss is a jerk, I am on a new team and the person I report to has been out. I am not familiar with the plans I work on yet so the person who backs him out is getting short with me because I can't answer specific questions on the plans. The guy I report to came in this morning. I though all would be fine now and he just left. I didn't get to ask him the questions I needed to - so now I have to go report to the witch of a backup! For the record...she has been backing him up on these plans for years. And she is a Sr in the department. Shouldn't she know something?? Alright...of to ask her my questions. Pray for me.

Becca, your nursery set looks so cute. I imagine with the blocks you are painting it will really finish the room off perfectly. We are just doing a classic Pooh theme and sage and cream colours. I am going on a trip next weekend and while I am gone my hubby is doing the painting so when I get back I can put up the border and start organzing, although we have no nursery furniture so it's going to be pretty empty for a while. Yours will look great with that set!

Amy, sorry you are feeling blue today. Why they arent' cutting you a break until you get the rythym of the new team is ridiculous. Good luck with that. I live in Winnipeg. No wonder you were stressing about your Mom being there for the birth of your baby, it's not like she can hop in the car and drive down from Canada for 10 hours or so.

Hello to everyone else as well.

I thought for sure TOM was coming yesterday. Bloated and a little crampy. But no TOM yet. I can't believe I agreed with DH to wait until next Friday to test. I was happy yesterday when I thought TOM was coming. I went home and read up on charting! I guess I think our odds are pretty low this month, since we didn't BD a lot due to DH working a lot of extra hours and us "recovering" from vacation. So, here I sit, waiting for TOM.

Our first was Classic Pooh. Next had no real theme...just flowers and patchwork from Pottery Barn. Both kids rooms are painted now...they were white when they were babies, so sis and I are painting this first to grow with the baby.

Oh...to make a bad day even worse!! My one and only pair of comfy maternity pants from Mimi Maternity just broke!!! I bent over to pick something up and the frick'n string in it popped! So, now I have to hold them together with a binder clip!

I dont' know how to feel right now!

Hi all, just got back from the Dr, the sonogram was great, Dr saw lots of stuff. They drew more blood and I am rechecking my levels tomorrow. Until then it is back to resting as I am still classed as a threatened miscarriage, but I am glad I feel sick and hot it just shows the hormones are working. Until I get the all clear I go back weekly for sonograms.

Amy--Sorry your day is going so bad .

gilbabe--I really am going to try to hold out until next Friday. I don't have any symptoms of being pregnant, and I really don't want to waste my $$ on a test that I am sure will be negative.


We went home today at lunch, and our neighbor's Mom was outside withe our neighbor's little boy. He's 4 months old and is a DOLL! He was born with a head full of hair. It was dark then, but is coming in lighter now. He was smiling at me and laughing. Sigh. Why are babies everywhere when you want one of your own?

Louise, I'm sorry, didn't mean to imply to go out and test. I was just saying that is how I was...I tested and tested and tested. Not this time...I was hoping for a negative with this test.

Just relax....time will tell...you are doing great!

gilbabe--I am usually really impatient too. I am not sure I can hold out! Sorry you were hoping this test would be negative. I've had a few of those too, and they all turned out negative. Of course, we had always said we never wanted to have kids until just a few months ago.


I am so ready to go home. No TOM yet. I can't imagine I'll be more than 5 days late. But then again, I don't really have any data to back that up .

hey, louise, thanks for asking. nursing has not really improved, but we've been able to 'move on'.. so to speak. i now nurse, then feed formula and pump. i don't really pump any milk, but we're hoping it will keep my supply up. she's thriving and gaining weight, so that's what counts.
