Well the last few days i have spent making returns/exchange & stocking up my house, getting the last few things i wanted/needed before Payton gets here. Who would have tought that somthing as simple as CostCo shopping would be so exausting!!

Hi all,

Just kind of lurking. Nothing much happening here. I had the tactile stimulation yesterday, and did feel a bit more crampy afterwards, but nothing's materialized yet.

Dena, a week ago Tuesday (the 5th) I started feeling mild lower abdomonal cramping--like i'm about to get my period. It's just sort of a faint burning, and is most prevalent at night, after I get up to pee. It doesn't feel like anything is contracting. I've also been feeling what I can only describe as pulling on my cervix for a couple of weeks. The baby is definitely engaged...that happened over a week or so, and I felt him thunk down on March 31st, I think (38w 2d for me). Otherwise, I'm *****y and antsy! LOL I can't believe your poor feet. I think you need to spend a day as queen with your DH bringing you tea and cookies while you keep your feet up!

Mandy, so happy to hear things are looking better for you, you're still always in my thoughts and prayers!

Chelsea, you are ahead of the game compared to me.....I keep making lists of little things we need, but haven't set foot outside to get a darn thing.

Can I tell you guys how much I love the pet pictures with the babies! Those were great!!! Alison has the prettiest head! Kim, Megan is just beautiful too.

This weekend should be interesting. Working half days has been wonderful. I still can't believe how well I am feeling. Anyway, I'm going into work today from about 1 - 5, and then going to my boss's house for a slumber party of all things!! Sounds crazy. Jonathan and I have never been apart at night, this is our first night alone and I'm nine months pregnant. *snort* I admire the military mommas! Simply amazing!

Anyway, I'm sleeping over because she is having a baby shower brunch on Saturday and another good friend of ours is spending the night to help. The three of us get together and get silly often, but this is our first night staying over. I feel like a little girl. We just thought is would be fun and easier because she lives about an hour from my house, but five minutes from where we work. Anyway, after the shower tomorrow, we have to go to a wedding. Then on Sunday, we are having our last baby shower. So, I don't know how much rest I will get. That is why the half days have been a blessing!!

CHELS - Nope... She had a mini party at the inlaws last Sunday. Most of my family is in Houston, so a big party was out of the question with me being this far along.

Well, I'm just waiting for Mr. Ezra to arrive... What's new!?! LOL! I'm glad that I don't have to drive anywhere to get Allison to the wedding she's attending this weekend (she's one of my cousin's flower girls) in Houston, which is 4 hours away. Needless to say, I have to miss the big occasion, which is killing me, but what can I do? I have a cousin who happens to be the ring bearer's dad... And he's been working this week in Oklahoma, so I'm gonna meet him somewhere off of the freeway, which is just a couple miles from my house. I was so worried about how I was going to get her there!

Also, when we thought Anna had Chicken Pox (turned out to be Roseola, nothing serious), Hank made arrangements to take her to MIL's house, which is 3 hours away. I don't know if he still is. Part of me wants him to, so that I don't have to worry about her while I'm in labor, but I'm gonna miss my little Mouse.

This will sound wierd, but I swear I feel myself dilating. It just feels tender down there and a little crampy. Heck, I can't quite explain it, but that's the feeling I get... Is that I'm dilating. Hmmmm... Hopefully, anyway.

I know I mentioned this already, but my Dr. upped my DD after my big u/s to the 9th, didn’t seem like a big deal then cause Payton will get here when he is good and ready... but the closer I get the better the 9th sounds to the 15th!! LOL

Martha ~ what is tactile stimulation?? The last few days I have felt a bit crampy down there and had a few moments where there was a series of sharp pains. Hang in there he will be here before you know it!!

Dena ~ A slumber party sounds like fun, make sure to bring a chick-flick!! Its easy for me to get all this done because I am not working!! Sounds like you have a busy weekend planed, make everyone wait on you!!

Dar ~ Hang in there with the BF, it will be worth it in the end when everything finally clicks!!

Jefinner ~ I asked cause I figured if you had a big party planned for this weekend you would defiantly go into labor...lol

Feel much better after a good nights sleep. Well I only have 2 stores left to make returns to. Tried to space them out over the week so I didn’t get to over whelmed. Did Target on Tues night... what a pain in the A$$!! Just the returns took almost 1 hour. They had to go though everything and match up each item with a gift receipt. If I would have known what a pain they where with there returns I NEVER would have registered there. Wd was Walmart returns & stocking up at CostCo for everything I thought we may need over the next 2 months. Yesterday I hit the mall and did returns at Macys, Penny's & Gymboree. Got a night gown robe set at Penny's it has a shelf bra (there Delicates line) and should work pretty good at the hospital best part was it was buy one get one for $1. Dena if you haven't found anything and have a Penny's near by you should swing buy there. Today is Mervyn's and Nordstrom's... then I am done!! Have a massage appt at 2 and cant wait, just hope that I am able to get my housework/errands done before so that I can come home and relax!! You girls are to nice! my secret is a lot of covergirl..lol My doctor always told me I had that pregnant glow and I told her that wasnt a glow that was coverglow what I should do is have my husband take a picture of me in the morning I definatley look like a new disgruntled mom who's not getting any sleep!

Dar** I'm so sorry you are having a hard time with breastfeeding.. It is so exhausting and frustrating on top of everything else I'm sure you are going through..as if having a baby is not tiring enough then you throw in waking up/feeding/crying/hormones it all one can do to keep sane!. I usually dont post on topics such as breastfeeding/bottlefeeding etc.. to many different opions but I know the frustration you are going through! when I started breastfeeding Ethan he would stay on my breast for what seemed to be hours and then still acted hungry and when he did go to sleep it was only to wake up screaming an hour and a half later wanting more..The nurses and doctors told me just to wait till my milk came in and he would be fine..not the case!.. I had more then plenty of milk and he was still hungry after a feeding! so finally I bought some formula and I cant tell you the difference it made.. I believe some babies just need more then others..Ethan is just a hungry little guy! So he gets breastmilk and formula and all is good. He still wakes up every two hours to eat but in a lot better mood! he is gaining a lb a week..lol I'm hoping he slows down or I'll have a butterball by the time thanksgiving rolls around! Alison might just want more milk then the average baby. I never knew I was sooo long winded

Jefinner! I know what you mean about feeling like your dialating I use to get "twinges" and I just knew I was dialating! so your probably right! you'll have a baby this weekend and hopefully you'll be posting pictures on Monday!

Sarah&Ames** How are the two of you doing?! can you guys tell me about how old Tanner and Grant were when you guys started to finally get some sleep!!!...lol I have to older boys and I forgot just how exhausting a new baby came be.. Actually I forget a lot these days...

Anyway... I've got an appointment for a 3D u/s on Wednesday! I can't wait!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up though... I just have a feeling that something will happen and I won't be able to do it... I'm keeping my fingers crossed though!

My husband is a Saint! After the morning feeding, he will usually take Grant out to the other room so I can get some more shut-eye and then he takes a nap before he goes to work in the afternoon. Grant actually slept through the night the other night! But then last night he was up 3 times. Anyway, most days I don't feel like I'm lacking too much sleep.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the birthday wishes yesterday DH and I had a nice romantic dinner at our favorite local French restaurant and he gave me a new temporary wedding band as my I had to take my other rings off a few weeks ago. It's a little loose, but considering how much my fingers are swelling parts of the day, I don't think I'd want it much tighter. Ah, the joys of pregnancy!

Today I worked from home and I'm looking forward to the weekend. I have a lot of cleaning to do since my mom and sister are coming to visit next weekend for my shower. I'm definitely the messy one in my family so mom and sis get very stressed and want to clean when they come visit. Maybe I should just hand them a broom this time!

Chelsea: Sorry to feel you are a little grumpy today. Costco has been kicking my butt too lately. I just had to run to the pharmacy there this week and just the parking and walking was too much.

Martha: I hope the tactile stimulation works, it can't be long now! Have you tried red raspberry leaf too too?

Dena: Have a great time at the slumber party!! Sounds fun.

Jefinner: Oooo, I hope that is dialating you are feeling! Sorry to hear you are missing the wedding

Shelly: Makeup? Wow, I gave up on that the same day I got my positive test back! lol, just kidding, i use it once in awhile, but not nearly as frequently as I used to.

Ames: Congrats on getting the sleep thing going. I think that's the part I'm dreading more than anything. Both DH and I can get very nasty when we're exhausted.

So I called my dr for my test results. Thankfully as of now I have not miscarried, my levels have went up and are at a normal level, WoOt, I have another sonogram scheduled for Thursday and because of my spotting/bleeding the Dr might want to examine me sooner. Until then more restricted movement/house arrest.

Great news, Chrissy! I hope that relieves at least some of your worry! Did I tell you that my friend had spotting all through the first trimester? The rest of her pregnancy was problem free, and her little girl is almost 2 now.

Try not to get too stressed out!

My doctor suggest when I got like that to take Dulcolax (stimulant free) it worked really good and then I would take Metamucil sugar free and they were both lifesavers .. I didnt take the Dulcolax pills but the Milk of Magnesia (sp)?... I meant to answer this question awhile ago! you must think I'm so rude! I've just been a little since having Ethan!..lol

A few missing mommies today.. Maybe we will have new babies this weekend!

Salty: That is wonderful news!!!!!

Shelly: Tanner FINALLY started sleeping through the night at 3 months. He actually the did it the night before I had to go back to work. It was a miracle I tell ya! He would get up 1 or 2 times per night and then all of a sudden he started sleeping and has ever since. It does get better. I remember just yearning for a few solid hours of sleep. *hugs* And, you look incredible. Fantastic job on the weightloss! You are an inspiration for sure!

Hi Shelly - no worries, I understand you have more important things on your mind than my bathroom issues. Thanks for the info. I've been pretty good the last few days, but I'll keep the Dulcolax in mind. I did have to take a couple of does of SF Metamucil and that helped as well.

I think maybe my body has adjusted to the iron pills and the prenatals. At least I hope so. This is probably way TMI, but holy cow -- my BMs looks like I have been eating tar or something. Ah the joys of iron supplements.

I'm sooooooooooooo mad!!! I went back to Babies R Us today to look at the stroller I want... make sure it's still the one and everything... well, they didn't have anymore, anywhere! To make things even worse... right before I found someone to ask about them I saw a guy wheeling out THE stroller and take it up front... I followed him and he was bringing it up for another women who'd asked about it! I stopped him and asked if there were anymore... he said they've been discontinued! WTH!!! Last time I was there (about 4 months ago) the guy mentioned they were new and would be around for at least a year! Well, it hasn't been a year yet! I asked him to check if there were anymore... nope, no more... that one had been a return... I asked to find out if another store had one... nope, all gone. ~pouts~ I'm so sad!!! I test drove ALL the other strollers and not a single one compared to the one I wanted!!! I think I'm going to cry!

Dar - I never even knew my milk came in. I had no swelling, pain or anything. Just wondering if you are a larger or smaller breasted woman. Any size woman can produce enough milk, but I think the experiences differ for each.

Shelley - Ethan is precious! WOW! on your before and after pics!!! How much did you lose?

Salty - That sounds like good news . Hang in there, it could still be twins .
