Good morning all. I find myself awake earlier than I would have liked, but oh well. I just have to kill some time before my day kicks off.

I'm going to pick up my little sister from a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese and take her to the mall for a bit. I don't get to spend a whole lot of time with her anymore, so it'll be nice to see her. I pretty much just have a lazy day planned, so I'm a happy camper.

Good morning! Sorry I haven't been around much the last few days, but work has been busy. I'll have to go back and read what is going on with everyone. I hope you are all doing well!

We found out last night that DH's sister's daughter, Sophia, has been hospitalized with RSV. DH's sister took her to the doctor as she had been sick for a couple weeks, and they sent Sophia to the ER via ambulance. She is expected to be in a hospital for a few more days. If you have any spare positive thoughts or prayers, please send them Sophia's way.


I have to go buy a bathing suit this weekend. I am not looking forward to it at all. Who wants to buy a bathing suit when it is freezing outside?

She is 9 and quite a handful. LOL The sign on the humve says "one weekend a month my @ss." I figured it appropriate for how I was feeling last weekend.

Here is baby A's (girl) profile: She weighs about 1.4 pounds now and is around 10 inches long .



Here is baby B's (boy) profile: He weighs about 1.5 pounds and is also around 10 inches long



This is ds after he got into my make up the other day.



The next two are just to show you how you know you're going to have a wild day! Whenever he wakes up looking like this I know I'm in TROUBLE!!!

Hey gals!

Kim- hope the Enfamil AR worked, but please consult your baby's pediatrician if you can. Changing formula that many times isn't good. My ped. yelled at me once when I did. LOL Sitting her up should help a ton too. The AR is for added rice, but it is nutrionally balanced still. It is made for babies with reflux. Adding cereal to formula yourself is frowned upon by most Peds. Best of luck to ya!!

I think I'm nesting already. Yesterday after 4pm I did a ton of stuff around the house including putting up a TP holder in the bathroom I had been neglecting, Polishing the huge entertainment center and waxing my eyebrows. LOL I was non-stop cleaning for hours. I had to stop when I realized I had been at home in my sneakers for over 11 hrs! Boy, my feet were sore!

I tried the Zantac last night for the indigestion.....but it didn't keep my mouth from going dry or help me sleep. So, I'm thinking I am going to try the Claritin for allergies tonight.

Oh what I wouldn't do for four or five hours of solid sleep. My days are numbered.

Other than that, I really feel good.

Mandy - I used to love Chuck E Cheese.....I haven't been in years! Have fun!

Hi everyone...

Snowing here again!!

I am feeling a bit nervous...actually terrified. I told you guys last week about that apartment. Well, it looks like we got it. DH, my brother and I just have to go meet the landlord in the morning to finalize everything. That is not what I am nervous about.

My current landlords came over today with a friend who is a contractor to take measurements to tear all the woodwork down to get rid of most of the lead paint here. I was feeling a bit guilty anyway, that I am probably going to give them my 45 days tomorrow, but figured, what could I do. So, I tried to do everything to keep them from asking me about living here, and if I liked it or planned on staying, blah, blah, blah. Got through an hour and right as the landlord - the wife- was walking down my stairs to leave, she turns and says "You guys aren't moving anytime soon, right? You are going to be here a while, right?" I kind paused and said "As far as we know..." What could I say??? This whole thing tomorrow isn't a done deal. It could fall through!! But, if I do get the apt - now I have to call my landlord and basically tell them I lied to their face.

Sorry that was so long...but I am so, so scared!!

Dena ~ Sorry the medicine didn't really work...maybe the Claritine will. I will be crossing my fingers all night for you.

Mandy ~ Ugh...Chuck-E-Cheese!! I was there not to long ago with DH's 2 year old cousin and it was hell on earth!! I will let aunts and nana's take my child there... Glad you get to spend some time with your sister. Have fun!

Louise ~ I don't know about you...but I hate shopping for a bathingsuit PERIOD!! Hope you find one though...

Alli ~ Those u/s's and pic's are great!! Question...do you scan your u's in?? I always wonder how to post mine...but haven't quite figured it out.

Becca ~ Glad you were productive today. I had to clean too, but that was because of the landlords coming...otherwise, I would have sat on my rear all day. LOL

Well, I will check back later or tomorrow. Wish me luck with the apt and breaking the news to my landlord.

Amy - your landlord hasn't done any of the work yet....although it probably wouldn't hurt her to do it anyway....I would tell her before she brings someone in to do the work.

Nothing wrong with you getting a better deal...that's life...but if it is going to bother you, then I would tell her before she goes any further.

Dena ~ They didn't leave here until 4:30 tonight and it is snowing, I assume they aren't starting anything in the next day or anything. I will be calling them tomorrow as long as we get it.

In my head I know I am not doing anything wrong...and I need to think about myself, DH and baby first. It is just that I had hoped to tell them before they drove all the way out here and I feel bad for basically lying to her face.

You shouldn't feel bad...your landlord needs the information for future reference most likely and contractors don't get every job that they estimate. If she is wise, she will go ahead and see about it regardless. She just sounds like a nice landlord, and if I were in your shoes - I would probably feel obligated to tell her in advance. I'm a sucker like that.

Dena ~ I never could wear sports bras, but I know the Gerber nursing pads are very thin. Probably about as thin as a panty liner. I liked them the best.

Amy ~ Don't worry, like you said they haven't started anything yet. If they were smart they'd do the work anyway for the next tenant. Just tell them you weren't sure about the other place yet and didn't want to say anything until you were sure. Is the other apartment bigger too?
As for the u/s pictures, they come out better if I take a picture of them with the digital camera. If I scan them they seem less clear.

Well…so far this Infamil AR seems to be doing ok. We had a very rough night last night…I finally got to sleep around 5:30 this morning. So far, knock on wood, Megan has done good all day today. She doesn’t seem to be having a reaction to the new formula. With the other formula’s the problems would start within an hour of her feeding. I’m hoping for a rest full night of sleep tonight. Megan slept a lot today, I’m sure because she was so worn out from last night.

Today was big sis’s 12th birthday. She had a good birthday…got tons of jewelry, clothes, and purses. The child has more purses than anyone I know of!!!

Guess who didn't sleep last night and is p*ssed off at the world?

Ironically, I haven't felt exhausted yet. I was up at 9am yesterday and went hard until about 11:00pm. I don't even think I took a nap.....but I know my body has to give in sometime....this is the forth night in a row with no sleep.

DH's grandmother is coming over....she wants to see the nursery and bring a friend...so, I'm off to make the house look "presentable".

I did my first load of baby stuff in the laundry....that was kind of cool.

GoJackets- Have you noticed that folding a load of baby clothes takes much longer than a load of big people clothes?? It's like folding little itty-bitty dolls clothes and you have to figure out how to fold them. It's almost like origami!

Side-bar: Has anyone seen the new Nabisco snack fairy commercials. It's with the comedian from "Who's line is it anyway?" Colin something.... He's wearing a pink tu-tu over his khaki's. For some reason it just tickles me when I see it.

We went to the Metrocenter location. Ask for Kevin. He will let you have quite a say in the process. Most of what was done were my ideas that he fleshed out.

Heading out...but just got back from the apartment. Good news and bad news.

Good news ~ Looks like we got the apartment. Will will find out for sure tomorrow, but it should be fine.

Bad news ~ I have to give up my dog. He doesn't even really want the cats, but said okay to them. The dog is an absolute "no". So in two weeks I have to give Ziggy back to my mother. I have been crying all afternoon.

The apartment is large so that is good. I just don't think we are going to come across anything better or a place that will let me keep my Ziggy. My mom loves him though and he will do good with her. I will just be sad for a while.

Well, got to go. Going to SIL house for a boiled dinner. I am Italian...gimme some meatballs...not corned beef!!
