Morning Ladies!!!

Well, today's the day!! Bags are packed and I'm up in time. We'll be leaving in less than an hour for the hospital. I'm a little nervous and anxious regarding the surgery, and had a good cry about it last night....but I'm sure all will be fine.

Surgery is scheduled for 7:30am (only 3 1/2 hours away!!). As soon as hubby sneaks away from the hospital he'll post pictures and an update for you all!

Good luck GetNSlim, I want to see a baby from you when I get home!

Ooooo, I bet Michelle's holding that baby right now, huh? How exciting!

I had the weirdest thing happen last night. As soon as I lay down to sleep, baby moves quite a bit then she settles down. Well, last night, she was moving like crazy. All quivery and punches and kicks and so forth. So, I laid on my back and pulled up my shirt, and I could see it on the outside, too! It was kind of freaky. I wanted to show DH, but he was getting ready for bed. Now I'm kind of glad he didn't see... probably would have really freaked him out. He's freaked enough about the baby being "in there".. if you know what I mean.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great Holiday!

Dar-The same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago, (I'm just a couple weeks ahead of you so it would've happened to us both around the same time) Anyway, my 2 1/2 yo dd was scared! It totally freaked her out! She told me to let the baby out! I think it creeps out DH too b/c he shows NO intrest in feeling or watching the kicks. It's kinda disappointing to me b/c not too many men out there are like that, I feel like he's missing out, ya know? Oh, well-at least he helps change diapers!!!!

Good morning ladies...! No labor here yet. Like I said yesterday, though, I don't mind at this point. Would rather have baby wait 3 more days!!! I just wanted to check in a say hello. Good morning ladies. yesterday I had my 36 week appt. I gained a pound, making my total weight gain 17 lbs. Dr checked me and I am closed and thick. Looks like I will make it to my scheduled c/s date-1/06/05. I'm kinda getting disgusted. I want to sleep on my tummy, even if it's for 5 minutes, I am tired of maternity clothes, and I feel like I'm gonna pop and can't breathe. Oh and did I mention I want more than 10 min of sleep at a time, without having to go pee?

Elana Marie was born this morning at 8.04 am, weighing in at 8 pounds 1 ounce and stretching to 20 inches long!

Michelle is recovering slowly but seems to be doing ok right now.

However Elana is not doing as great. Due to being a C section baby she has fluid in her lungs. This has caused them to place her under an oxygen hood to make sure she gets enough. The fluid causes her to take short breaths. The pediatrican has stated she will need to be on this for 48 to 72 hours. However they are treating this as a worse case senario so hopefully she will be off of it sooner than later.

Fluid in the lungs is not altogether uncommon in c-section births, but it can be serious. I hope everything goes well for all of you.

Congratulations, Kb3 and Michelle!! I will definately be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers!! Like Shandril said, it is not uncommon in C-sections for babies to have fluid in their lungs...since it doesn't get squeezed out during the passage through the birth canal!! I'm sure everything will be fine!!

Nothing new going on here for me. I even took my kids sledding! Granted, I didn't sled down the hill...just walked up and down and pulled them up and down!! Hoping maybe this get something started! Talk to you all later!

Hi everybody,
I had my OB appointment on Tuesday. Everything seems to be okay

. We heard two heartbeats

. We get to have another u/s on January 12th and then another one every 4 weeks! We'll be getting a level 2 done when I'm 18 weeks along. I guess the triple screening test isn't very accurate for twins (or even singleton for that matter), so we'll be doing the level 2 for some added assurance

. We'll probably be having the scheduled c/s the 2nd or 3rd week in June. Ds was a week early so between that and having a c/s anyway we'll be having June babies

. This is good for me, Dh's birthday is July 23 and ds's birthday is July 24th.
We're still very cautiously excited. I doubt I'll ever feel as safe and secure as I did when I was carrrying ds

.
The diet is nearly out the window at this point. I've gained 3 pounds so far and have a sudden craving for Devil Dogs of all things! I didn't even eat a lot of them when I was a raging carb eater

. I waited 3 days after the craving started before I went out and got some.
Hope all is well with everyone. I haven't read back for a few days. Is Mandy okay? I hope so.

Supposedly this is 94% accurate... I checked and it says I'm having a boy... oh I hope so! I also checked what my daughter was predicted to be and it said a girl, so it was right!

It looks to me to be based on the Chinese Gender charts, but I want to know which one since I've checked 3 of them before and all said my daughter would be a boy ~laughs~

I guess the triple screening test isn't very accurate for twins (or even singleton for that matter), so we'll be doing the level 2 for some added assurance . We'll probably be having the scheduled c/s the 2nd or 3rd week in June. Ds was a week early so between that and having a c/s anyway we'll be having June babies . This is good for me, Dh's birthday is July 23 and ds's birthday is July 24th. We're still very cautiously excited. I doubt I'll ever feel as safe and secure as I did when I was carrrying ds . The diet is nearly out the window at this point. I've gained 3 pounds so far and have a sudden craving for Devil Dogs of all things! I didn't even eat a lot of them when I was a raging carb eater . I waited 3 days after the craving started before I went out and got some. Hope all is well with everyone. I haven't read back for a few days. Is Mandy okay? I hope so. Alli

I checked and it says I'm having a boy... oh I hope so! I also checked what my daughter was predicted to be and it said a girl, so it was right! It looks to me to be based on the Chinese Gender charts, but I want to know which one since I've checked 3 of them before and all said my daughter would be a boy ~laughs~
