Another busy shift today...but not as bad as yesterday.

I was inundated with turbulence from Hawaii to Europe last night and then I had to face the quarter inch of freezing rain we got in the morning chiseling it off my car and then driving home in it! Needless to say I was wiped out and went to bed earlier than usual. Boy did I sleep good though! Only one potty break and over nine hours of sleep!

Well, that's all I have time for tonight. I have tomorrow off though!

Boy was this last week+ crazy, i organized my first Craft Fair that was held on Friday. Didnt do as well as i hoped with selling my own photographs because i was busy dealing with other stuff, live and learn. That along with the holiday activities, boy am I pooped!! Although I have not posted much lately I do try to read the thread everyday, but if I don’t have time to do personals then I don’t feel right posting what's going on with me...lol, I am just silly that way!! Things should settle down in the New Year **i HOPE** Please know that I think (and even talk about you all often!!) Sorry if this is WAY to long!!

Ames ~ Cant wait to see pics of the room, I should post pics of the baby's room just for laughs. Right now it is filled with Christmas gifts that I need to wrap.

Michelle ~ Love the new name!! So sweet that hubby posted a hello!! Hope everything is ok with the little one. What a cute family you have!! You are a very pretty lady, why have you not shown us pics before!!??

kb3 ~ thanks for keeping us up to date ..... can you give my hubby lessons?? Tell brat she has a keeper!!

Dena ~ Sorry about your family's loss, how awful to have to go through that during the holidays. On a lighter side when is hubby's gas baby due?? LOL

Amy (smiley) ~Going back to last Tues, I have always been told that you are supposed to take all vitamins with food as it helps with the absorption. Also when my m/s got REALLY bad I took it right before I went to sleep with a little snack, seemed to help. Glad to here you Dr apt went well. Sticky vibes going out to you.

Hello to Lizzy, heather123, Viki, Alli, Meg, Dierdre, Kim, Vanessa, Shandril, Renae & Jenfinner (if you peek in) and anyone else that I missed!!


Had my "big" u/s at my Dr's (including the AFP) on the 13th it went well, my girlfriend Mindy went with me as David had to work. Little man behaved thanks to mom not eating or drinking anything other than water a couple hrs before the appt. So we got to play around a bit, his little foot was already measuring a bit over 1 inch!! We laughed about big feet and had the tech measure his little "winkie" or as I now call it his one centimeter peter...LOL, David says that i am a mean mommy already embarrassing Payton. We got the results of the AFP test today and everything came back good... Wooo Hooo!!! Finally did a bit of shopping for Payton while picking up the last few X-mas gifts, got a $100 Macy's gift card for doing the photos at the PD's Christmas party. So I hit up the clearance rack and got a few outfits (mostly 9+ months) going to go back and get me a new bra, to bad they have NO maternity things. Got a bit of food poisoning on Thursday night (both of us where sick) so tums was my best friend that night. Now for my funny I don’t care if you touch my tummy story. We went to a Christmas party Sat. night I was sitting outside by the fire pit talking to a couple of my friends. One of my friends kept asking me all night if he was moving. Well little man starts moving and kicking so I grab Patti's hand and put it down my pants (I am not a shy girl..lol) to where he is moving, my other friend Sandi notices what's going on and before I knew it her hand was down there too. Just then a guy walks over to us, the look on his face was priceless as he said "Wow I had no idea that it was going to be THAT kind of party" Still have not gained any weight, but my Dr is not concerned so neither am I, she said that pelvic to top of uterus I am supposed to measure 1 inch for every week I am PG and I am right on. That and the fact that our little man is measuring almost one week bigger than his due date (witch I know is correct). His head was measuring 18 weeks when he was 17, don’t even want to know if his shoulders are big like daddy's too!! People are starting to give me a hard time, one of hubby's friends claims that I am not PG, and the u/s pics are someone else's...lol. I am showing a bit more but it only noticeable when I am au-natural, guess I may just have to "expose" on all of them!! Will take a pic on Sat and post my 5 month belly shot, wow 5 months!!! And I have done nothing baby wise. We are going to clear the room, paint and then put in new carpet. It is a disaster right now and a small child could easily go missing in there. Payton is moving around all the time, David felt him on Sat. when I woke up and rolled onto my back I put his hand on the 5''x3'' "lump that was poking out on my left side. David said it was gross, as our little guys repositioned himself. He didn’t kick but he does, although I cant tell the difference between arms & legs yet. Finally got my Christmas cards done & mailed out on the 16th, now I am actually getting requests for them from people I don’t usually send them to...lol. Don’t people know that if you send one you get one in return, I will post it bellow. The 22nd is my little sisters 12th birthday so I am going to drive up to Eureka and surprise her, not looking forward to the 5+ hr. drive. But it will be worth it to see the smile on her face. Morning Ladies!!!

Ames...once in 9 hours to pee?? OMG am I jealous!!!

Chells.....GREAT Xmas card!! (Where's mine? Huh huh??) Sounds like you've been a very busy girl. I was cracking up at the story of you and your friends with their hands down your pants. Why is it I would expect that of you?? The reason I haven't posted pics of me up until now is I hate, I mean HATE, having pics of me taken let alone shared. Yuck...ick...gives me hives thinking about it.


OK ladies question....anybody else feel like a big ole turtle stuck on it's back/shell while trying to roll over? This has become a joke with hubby and I lately but man last night it took all I had to roll over, then I hit hubby with the baby underestimating my stomach's size yet again.

OK GetNSlim....you have to get moving lady!! I only have 2 more days!! I have a feeling between you, me and surfdol, we're gonna be flooded with babies all at once (not that it's a bad thing!).

I'll check in later on those who pop in after me.....having some ceiling work done today.

Hi, ladies, just a quick hello before I get busy doing actual work.

Chels, funny story! Just wanted to let you know that, in about the past week or two, I've been able to distinguish between arms and legs. Her arms are down low and center, and her legs are up just under my ribs on the right side.

Which makes me wonder.. is it normal for me to only feel her on that one side? I just wonder how she's laying in there. From our u/s, the dr. said that's where her legs are, so it makes sense, I jsut have trouble picturing where the rest of her is!

Michelle, give me a month or two and I'm sure I'll feel like a turtle!

Oh, and forgot to say.. when I got home last night, DH meets me at the door, covers my eyes, and leads me to the nursery. All the while, I'm thinking, "oh my God, what did he buy?" LOL.. Sure enough, he uncovers my eyes, and I see 1/2 a corner shelving unit in the closet with the other 1/2 on the floor, and he says, "Help!" LOL... he tried to get it done before I got home but he couldn't maneuver it without help.

We had a good birthday celebration for him, too. I called several friends and we went to his favorite restaurant for dinner. He had several drinks bought for him! I got him LOTR: ROTK extended edition, one of our friend's got him the latest Family Guy release, and my folks sent him an engraved limited edition baseball bat with all the 2004 St. Louis Cardinals autographs on it! Wow, I'm jealous of that one!

Michelle~Thanks for posting pics, girl! You are glowing, are you sure you're ready to have that baby yet? Your son is beautiful, so I'm sure your new DD will be! I had to laugh about the turtle story. Sometimes I underestimate how far my belly sticks out now and I think,"I can squeeze past that person, or chair, or whatever", only to whack my belly on something. It catches me by surprise every time!

GetNslim~Is No News good news? I hope you are in labor or holding you little one by now!

Chels~Hi, girl! Love the Christmas card! Are you going to sew too? I will have to post a pic of my nursery when it's all done...my swatches as of now are in disarray. That's funny about "that kind of party" LOL. You will probably pop in two more months. I only have a few maternity things, even now. Just 2 pair of pants and one or two "real" maternity tops. The rest of the time I just wear regular clothes with lycra that I don't care if they get stretched out. I say hold off on the maternity stuff as long as you can!

Dar~That's exactly where I'm feeling my babe kick. Doc said head down too, so that's good! Also, if her legs are in the upper right, her head is probably in the lower left of your pelvis, right where you want it to be...that's a good thing! They move around a lot still...just wait till you feel your bladder punched/kicked LOL!

I vowed to not shop this year, but am meeting a friend for lunch today, and she's shopping, so...now there are a few things I should pick up nearby I guess. Peer pressure! We went to a Christmas concert, and it was nice to just take it easy and listen to the carols. The traffic is what gets to me most about this season.

Well...as if it's not enough that I'm freaking out over having major surgery in 2 days (even though I get a beautiful baby out of it, I'm really getting nervous).....now hubby says his contract position is in jeopardy as the company wants to "hire or fire" by Dec. 31st. He's tried for several permanent positions there only to have people less competent than him receive the positions. Fingers crossed that the two positions he's applied/interviewed for consider him...or we'll both be without income come Jan. 1.

Well ladies, still here! My doctor's appointment is in an hour and 45 min...so I will post about what he says when I get back. All of my family wanted me to drink Castor Oil last night...but I got it mixed in with the O.J. and was about to drink it and I couldn't. I kept remembering how nasty it was with my son! Anyway, I am PROBABLY going to go in and let them break my water today...but I'm not sure. I'm just hoping the from them checking me it will get my contractions going and they won't quit and I will be able to go naturally!! So...that's it for me. Oh, the weather changed here. It is snowing!! YAY, we'll have snow for Christmas!! Ames, can you look and tell me what this change in weather could do as to help me out labor wise?!!

Thank you for the prayers GetNSlim....we live in an apartment and evidently our dining room ceiling has been repaired before we moved in. Well, it was peeling in that spot a few months ago and then we came home the other night to a small hole there with sugar ants streaming out *rolling eyes*. So I sprayed a ton of Home Defense up there to keep the ants at bay, but they need to fix the hole.

Although, I'm starting to wonder if they really are coming today as I haven't heard a word yet.

Hey there....just checking in....Michelle hang in there!!!!!!!

We had visitation last night from 5-9. We got home around 10.

The funeral is today at 2 and I imagine we will be going to his grandmother's house afterward. Today was supposed to be my final day of shopping to pick up odds and ends....oh well, that's not happening.

Had my ultrasound....from what I could tell, everything is okay. I will follow up with my doctor after the holidays.

I feel certain I have felt the baby move. I wasn't sure until I saw the baby today. I say that because last u/s the baby was hanging out on my right side, but my movements have been in the left. Well, the baby was head down on my left. So, it's been moving quite a bit. It had the hiccups today while the technician was checking the heart rate. We watched the heart (which is why we went back - couldn't see it last time), everything looks fine, but I'm not the expert.

The technician went right in and coud tell the sex of the baby. I caught a glimpse, but not sure what I saw. She wrote it down and sealed it in an envelope for me.....which my mom will get. She better keep her mouth shut and pink or blue fabric hidden from me.....if she slips, I will be so mad. I keep eyeing the envelope....but I'm going to leave it alone.

Just wanted to pop in and say Hi! Things are crazy around here, I have so many projects started that I need to finsh up in the next two days before I leave for vacation. We found a changing table/dresser yesterday and I picked it up this morning, I'm so excited about that! It was exactly what I was looking for and about 3 times less than I was expecting to spend!

Hey ladies...just wanted to let you know that I am still home, and pregnant. They told me they could break my water if I wanted, but they are content to just let me go also. So, I opted to just wait and see what happens. I have been having contractions since this morning, so maybe today is the day. I am pretty much completely efaced, 4+ cm dialated, and about 0 station. Well, I didn't sleep much last night as I kept hoping it was the night...so I'm gonna go lay down while my other one is asleep! I'll keep you all posted!

I had my midwife appointment today... looks so far like I won't have to switch! Yeah! According to the insurance as long as someone in the office has a provider number with them then it doesn't matter who I see, just bill it under that number and it's covered... and apparently at least one person in the office has a provider number! Yeah!!!

At today's appointment we listened to the heartbeat again... nice and strong... she found it as soon as the doppler was put on my stomach... it was cool... no searching... it's like he was wanting us to hear ~smiles~ And she also said that in 2 months, when I'm 22 weeks along, we'll do another ultrasound and find out what I'm having! Yippee!!! Soooo... everyone keep your fingers crossed for a boy!!!
