Pregnant LC area?

Is there still an area here somewhere for pregnant low-carb women? I've not been around these forums in a while but now I'm 9 weeks pregnant and need some extra support trying to stay low-carb.

I think most of them post on the maintenance board. I do know that someone requested a special place for those that are pregnant. Not sure if they ever got a reply or not.

Congratulations!

There is usually a thread on maintenance for nursing and pregnant moms. You can do a board search for it.

I also recommend a Yahoo Groups list called "Pregnant Atkids", full of pregnant LC mamas along with support and information.

I've done two LC pregnancies now and wouldn't do it any other way. Good luck!

Thanks Sharon - I've been on the Pregnant Atkids list almost 2 years now, I just remember there was a group here somewhere for pregnant and nursing women but perhaps they've all had their babies and no one kept the group going? I'll check out the maintenance board

You're right. There was a pretty active and regular thread with pregnant/nursing mamas. I forget the name now. It possibly did die out. Perhaps it's time to resurrect it?
