Atkins during pregnancy may benefit offspring

Continuing low-carbohydrate diets throughout pregnancy may have long-term
metabolic benefits in offspring. A maternal high unsaturated fat and
high-protein diet during gestation and lactation reduces hepatic
triglyceride concentration in female offspring, which is linked with
increased protein levels in fatty acid oxidation.

I just KNEW there were benefits! I don't care if this WAS just a mouse study either... if they're going to say certain meds aren't good for me based on rat studies, then I will believe this one too!
