Hi Darlene, sounds like you've got a busy weekend planned. Be careful not to fall the next time at agility class. Glad you didn't get hurt.

I wouldn't worry too much about not feeling the baby move for a few days. I'm passed the 28 week mark and there are some days he hardley moves at all and other days he's kicking the crap out of me all night!

It just depends on the position they are in.

Crossing my fingers for you SmileyAmy....this could be the month!

Tbugs! I added ya to our list. Be sure to join us often!

GoJackets...you will be feeling those movements soon enough. You'll probably chaulk it up to gas for a while though like I did.

Wow GetNSlim, you're almost there! As for the "postioning" exercises...she said to walk as much as I can and twice a day I should get on all fours and stay there for as long as I can stand it. Supposedly gravity standing up and sitting up straight allows for the baby to be more comfortable being head down and gravity being on all fours allows for the baby to be more comfortable facing your spine instead of the other way. I guess if the baby isn't facing your spine it can make for a tougher labor because of the way the head needs to manuever around the pubic bone during delievery. She also suggested swimming....but that's a no go for me...I hate swimming, LOL! But I should definately avoid sitting in a recliner and tilting more toward my tummy than my back when sleeping on my side. It's all about gravity...and as my teacher in high school would say "It's all physics!"

Miss Gigl, hope you get the infection taken care of. Those can be serious if they don't get taken care of. My grandma lost a baby because of a yeast infection that she didn't get taken care of.

Hi Azktycat! It's good to see you! Hope you stop by more often...sorry about the morning sickness...I've felt your pain.

Good Morning!

I'm up a little early...had a strange incident in the bathroom...probably nothing - but you know how I am!!!

Plus, it was 4:00am....maybe I imagined it.

Anyway, I was peeing and just about finished when I heard what sounded like the cat peeing. The litter boxes are in our bathroom......well, no one was in there but me. It sounded almost like secondary peeing....there seemed to be a "trickle" while the other was going on....so now I'm telling myself that it was not pee, and it was me leaking.

No blood, no cramps...

Must quit worrying. I'm going to try and go back to sleep. Long day ahead.

Hello everyone. There are lots of personals I need to catch up on!! I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving. I will probably be popping in later today.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I have to bake pies this morning, so I will do personals later. The big thing for me is going back through all I missed! I did read Sarah's and Christine's birth stories. Those always make me cry! I'm so happy for you two. It sounds like you both went through an ordeal.

For once I'm not concerned about overeating this Thanksgiving, since even a regular size meal makes me sooo uncomfortable now! I'm getting heartburn too lately.

Dena~If you are worried at all, hon, go to the ER. They can do a really quick test to see if it is fluid or not. It's kind of like a litmus test strip. In the meantime, I'd say wear a pantiliner and see if it gets wet/stays dry (okay, other than all the goo that already comes out of us while PG). Amniotic fluid is supposed to smell "sweet".

Ames~That's interesting that your doula said walking a lot will help to reposition the baby, I hadn't heard that. I try to walk about an hour a day, but recently I realized that I am getting Braxton-hicks contractions the whole time! A weird feeling. Not painful, but a definite tightening down there. Have you had those at all?

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We will be traveling all weekend so I will not check back in until Monday.

I have my U/S Monday. For some reason I have a feeling we won't get to find out the sex....that the baby will be turned the wrong way.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!

My family and I have so much to be thankful for this year especially. Everyone is healthy and happy, we have a beautiful new baby, we're having a terrific meal this afternoon, the Red Sox are the world champions, and the Patriots beat Kansas City (and are hoprefully on their way to a third superbowl championship). Now all we have to do is get the Celtics and the Bruins on board!

I'm also thankful for all of you on this board. You give me a tremendous sense of comfort, support, belonging and sharing (the humorous, the tragic, and the mundane). I hope you all have a wonderful, healthy, happy Thanksgiving.

Hope everyone who travels is safe....and we all have opportunity to enjoy family. My hubby and I have had a very quiet day with no stress. We promised only to focus on the positives of which we were thankful today.

MadameX...we are snacking on Triscuits and cheese for lunch so I'll have room for dinner. I too find an average meal leaves me miserable so I'm trying to make wise decisions to enjoy the turkey and fixings later.

We are doing well here. I've lost all of my baby weight, plus more. I gained 19 lbs total, and have lost 31 so far.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving, i made pumpkin cheesecakes last night, this is "expected" of me since years ago i had my own cheesecake biz. I will be hanging out at my negihbors house that are like a second family to me. David worked last night 9pm to 7am and does the same tonight. Sometimes it sucks being a cops wife!! Promice to get back in here tonight and do personals. Quite a few of you have NOT posted pics, and we where on such a good roll. Dont make me post more....LOL
