Good morning ladies!
Thanks for sharing your birth story ChristinaK. Love the pics GoJackets.  As for circumscion...I've left that for my husband to decided and he says "yes" we will do it. I'm inclined to have it done anyway, because my cousin wasn't circumsised and he's had several urinary infections....I figure a little pain that he won't remember is worth preventing infections later that he will remember. I slept much better today. I still have the congestion that lasts for 3-4 hours after I get up and then get the heart burn when I go to bed.  I think I'm gonna be wishing for Februaury to get here soon if it gets worse.  I talked with my doula today on the phone and she recommended I start doing some "positioning" type of exercises and try not to sit in a recliner and such so the baby has a better chance at nestling in the right position. She also recommended a few books that I'm gonna try to get done reading before we meet in a couple weeks. Well, that's all for now. Have a great day everyone! Ames |

 Thanks for all the opinions on circumcision, I don't even know if it will be possible to get one here, but it's good to consider all the options. Christina, great story, thanks for sharing! I've been blocking all the worries about delivery, especially tearing and/or episiotomy... Well, I'm frantically finishing up last minute Thanksgiving preparations today, the table is mostly set, silver polished, stuffing made, cranberry chutney made, wild rice made. Now I just need to clean the brussels sprouts, wash the lettuce, vacuum, mop and do some laundry, and I think I'll be all set. The turkey is coming tonight, I'm not sure if it will fit in my little cooler, but if it does, I think I'll brine it in the cooler and set it outside and hope it doesn't get too cold. Hi all... What a beauty she is Pauline!
 Well I will find out this afternoon if they have to try and turn the baby and/or if I will have to have a C.... wish me luck (no baby turning & no C! lol) I had to remove one of my rings this week because my hands are starting to swell a little bit and it was very hard to get off... my wedding ring is still fine though, we bought it and the engagement ring when I was at my heaviest so they were big anyhow! lol Has anyone had to have their baby turned so that it wasn't breech anymore? I am wondering just how painful this will be... I am making hubby drive me to the doc's, in case of the worst AND (wouldn't ya know it) we are having our first winter storm of the year today! LOL Figures, couldn't have been tomorrow or Friday. Hope you all have a great day and if I don't talk to you before... have a great Thanksgiving!

Ames....hate to tell ya, but the heartburn will prolly stay with ya. If you believe in wivestales, they say that's a sign of a full head of hair. I'm keeping fingers crossed for a full head of red hair like I had! MarthaD....I hope your thanksgiving turns out wonderfully with all the preparations you're doing! Sounds like me last year, cooking for 22 then my own wedding 2 days later. Glad it's just hubby and I this year, but I'm still cooking Pauline....she's absolutely adorable!! They grow so fast. surfdol....keeping you in thoughts and hope all goes well for you. ChristinaK....wonderful birth story, can't wait to see pics! HI to everyone else who pops in. I woke again last night at 1:30 and was up until 4am. This is really getting tiring....so I hope to sleep some today. Pregnancy wise I'm doing well. I've noticed that I'm not getting punched/kicked as much but that she is rolling more and stretching. All you Tim McGraw fans....hope you tuned into the Today show!!! *whew* what a man!! He's a little too scruffy for me today but I'm not complaining! Thank God for tight mens sweaters/jeans. He does look tired tho....maybe he needs to come nap with me  |

Hey, everyone!
Love the pics, Dena! Your boys are such cuties! I only have one long haired.. I can't imagine the vacuuming you have to do. I guess I have to break down and do a belly pic, too. I just wish I actually looked a little more pregnant, instead of just fat. I thought for sure, at halfway, I'd at least look pregnant! Doing fine here, although I fell last night during agility class. Not sure if it was a balance issue.. I just couldn't run fast enough to keep up with her and got off to a bad start. Anyways, for a fall it was pretty graceful, and I didn't hurt anything. I'm just a little achy, but no hurt wrists or anything. I just felt stupid, but fortunately no one noticed it or else they pretended not to! LOL... I also asked DH about circumcision, and he said yes. No religious reason, but he is and that's what he "knows", so he's more comfortable with it. Perhaps I'm crude, but I can relate it to having a dogs' tail clipped.. they are too young, they just don't remember it. I've seen it done many times. And yes, if you've had a poodle or some other dog with a clipped tail, they had to be done at some point! Michelle, how was the lawyer visit?? Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We are taking it easy.. just us, a small turkey, green bean casserole for me, and some low carb treats for DH. And shopping Friday! Saturday is when we're having guests over, and we're making a prime rib roast. Sunday, Caena and I have our next agility trial. Have a good weekend everyone! |

Have fun with your friends on Saturday! So, I am sitting here at work listening to Christmas music!! woo, hoo...Just couldn't hold back anymore. Tomorrow me and my mother are going to my aunts and DH is going to his sisters house - the my mom and I will meet up with him for dessert. Yummy! Friday I am putting up my Christmas decorations with my mom and a friend and then at night my mother and I are going to see Ann Murray in concert. It's a Christmas concert. Nice way to start the Christmas season. Saturday, my mom and her two sisters, their kids, my nana, my brother and I are having a mini Christmas brunch and present exchange since my mom won't be here from Christmas. And, Sunday I am relaxing!! My mom will be going home so I am going to sit in my PJ's infront of the Christmas tree and watch TV all day!! Me and my mother have been go, go, go for like two weeks. I need a break!! Well, I will pop in later!! Gobble, gobble to you all!

Hi... I'm checking in as a new pregnant one.
This will be my third baby and the first preganancy I have started at a normal weight. I already have a boy and a girl and am due with this baby on July 21.
I am highly paranoid, but trying to relax about gaining weight. I'm hoping to keep myself on track and gain only what the baby needs! Tanya |

I just wanted to check in quickly and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
I actually think I felt the baby turn over this afternoon! That was a thrill! Also, on a less thrilling note, I called a birthing center that is supposed to be more American style, private baths, more like a hotel room, but they wouldn't accept me because of my weight. Now I feel like a complete cow again! |

I actually haven't felt the baby for the past few days.. trying not to panic.. with DH's car issues and cleaning the office, I haven't really sat still long enough. I thought for sure it would be stronger by now, though. |

Good morning ladies...! Can you believe it is already Thanksgiving tomorrow?!?! WOW..one month until Christmas! I had contractions all day yesterday, but they didn't feel like labor contractions so I didn't go in. I was going to wait until my water broke, but then I decide I might not do that since this is my third baby and it could go REALLY fast after my water breaks! So, anyway, if I continue to have contractions today I'm going to call my doctor and have them check me!
Ames-Glad you got some sleep!! What kind of positions was your doula talking about?? That is interesting about the recliner! Marthad-Wow, sounds like you're all set!! I'm letting hubby cook and do the cleanup. I am making the pies though! LAPrettyGirl-Cute picture! surfdol-Wishing you luck. I haven't had turning a baby done, but I have heard it can be pretty painful. Hope it isn't too bad! DIF-I don't think that old wivestale is true!!! I had really bad heartburn with all 3 pregnancies and none of them have had alot of hair when they were born! Dar-Taking it easy here too!! Have fun shopping!! Dar....things didn't go exactly well with lawyer. Basically he doesn't think my workers comp issue will be justified as I didn't sustain a "direct injury" that can be treated. He stated I need an employment lawyer which in this area, is anywhere from $100-200 an hour for consultation, let alone retainer fees. Hard to afford that when on forced unpaid leave
 However I did talk to 2 compassionate paralegals who said the lawyer would first tell me to file with the EEOC to obtain an intent to sue letter, so I'm going there next Friday to file my complaint for investigation. I've also filed complaints against my doctor and my admin. re. the HIPAA privacy violations.SmileyAmy....you bet I'll be glued to the TV. And I think you have some competition for Timmy!! He hasn't left Faith for you yet cuz he's busy with Chelsea and I I swear no finer man has ever walked the earth.  TBugs!!!Marthad....you are NOT a cow!!! I don't understand what weight has anything to do with place of delivery. GetnSlim....LOL that's why I said a "wivestale". I don't necessarily buy into them, but wish it were true as I'd kill for a lil redhead full of hair. Hope everyone is gearing up for Turkey day tomorrow!! I can't wait to watch the Macy's parade. Since it's just hubby and I, maybe I'll actually get to see the whole thing from start to finish. Holidays like this really make me miss my family No shopping for me on Friday...bleck, bad enough my mom does that! |

Hi everyone!
Just got back from the doctor for the quick reassurance check up and he said everything looks fine although I might have a small yeast infection. Took a culture and we'll see... he did say that he wouldn't treat it until after 12 weeks anyway so not much to do right now. No time for personals since I have to get on the road in a few minutes, but I'm thinking about all of you and how everyone has a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!! ((Hugs)) Meg PS: Amy, I took a peek at your chart and it looks VERY VERY promising so far! If you temps stay up I would consider testing around 12 dpo. Keep us posted!!!!!!
