Well, I was looking foward to feeling the baby move. But, I've got to admit that sometimes I do want him to stop moving. And sometimes he takes me by suprise and I jump about a foot in the air! Now that the kicks are getting stronger they can hurt or even wear me out and make my belly sore in spots. But it sure is comforting to know that my little guy is doing well in there. I'd be worried if I didn't feel anything...even though I feel like my body has been taken over by an alien on most days.

Curious if any other third tri-mester moms have faced dizziness. I have had a couple of nights now of really bad cases of it that forces me to lie down. If I don't lie down when it starts, I find myself really nauseaus. I don't recall having this with my son....and am wondering if it's stress related now that things have calmed a little bit and my body has time to react. Anyone?

On the work front, I have a lawyer coming to my home on Tues. afternoon. I spoke with my coworker who is pregnant and still there, and she stated the place is literally falling apart with people quitting. The last she heard lawsuits were up to 5 filed, and that doesn't include mine nor the former director of nurses that has 13 employee's named in his. I'm starting to feel positive we'll see a change in administration. On an upnote....I also have been told 3 of the 5 filed have settled out of court already...all for $100,000-$150,000.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm off to take the pooch to the vet this morning to recheck a yeast infection she had in her ear...ewwww nasty thing.

Not much to report here... I had the intense wave of morning sickness to date yesterday and I'm seriously hoping it's not a precursor of what's to come :-/ I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow and I was starting to think I might get off easy. Today I feel pretty good, I got up early and made DH some banana nutella crepes. Since it's going to be a hectic week with Thanksgiving I'll just be taking it easy around the house this weekend catching up on cleaning and laundry.

Good morning, ladies! Nothing new here. I am so starting to freak out for some reason. I am more freaked out with this one than I have been with my other two, which seems really wierd to me. I just REALLY don't feel ready this time around. I didn't even have hard pregnancies or labors with my previous two, so I am not expecting anything different this time around...but for some reason I am just totally freaking out!! Who knows, maybe it is all because of the other emotional stuff I am going through right now. It feels good to be able to talk about it though! I'm so glad you ladies are "here"!!

No news from, Sarah??? everything is okay with you all!

Ames- I totally agree with you!! Especially when they start kicking you in the ribs. The other night Jonathan kicked so hard I thought he cracked a rib...it hurt so bad I was almost in tears (and I never cried or anything during labor, no pain medication!).

DIF- Glad things are starting to look up!! Hope puppy gets better!

Alibaba-Don't feel bad, I do the same things. Sometimes all I want to do is just sit in a chair and do nothing...which isn't realistic because I have an almost 3 DD and a 1 1/2 DS...and one always needs something!!

Miss Gigli- I think most MS is supposed to end after your first trimester...so the worst of it should be coming to an end!

Woo-Hoo its the weekend!!!!!!!

We are doing a little bit of Christmas shopping this afternoon after DH wakes up, I can't wait-I love shopping, esp at Xmas time, as long as it's not ANY TIME after Thanksgiving-I don't like fighting for the same product or standing in those long lines.

I ate a donut for breakfast and now my stomach is cramping up....it reminds me of contractions, how the pain comes and goes. Urggg, I shouldv'e just had yogurt, serves me right.

Alli-I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well, do you have a bug or is it pregnancy related?

Michelle-Wow I know you've been through a lot of stress, hopefully a big settlement might help you forget everything that happened I pray that your case turns out for a profit that big too. Just think, you could take a whole year off before you had to start looking for a new job.

Meg- I was lucky and never threw up, I was neasous A LOT esp at night when I was tring to go to sleep. hope you enjoy your relaxful weekend, even though cleaning isn't much fun

Hey, everyone..

Congrats Christina!!! How exciting!!

I had my haircut (really cut, too!), manicure, and brows done this morning. I feel pampered!

Question... DH was frisky last night (and this morning), so I got some (finally.. after 4 months). Well, his fav position is me on top. I support myself with my arms and my hands swelled up and are still swelled. This has never happened before! I'm assuming this is caused by the pregnancy? Will the swelling just go down on its' own?

Dar...congrats on gettin some!!! As for the swelling, drink a ton of water and keep 'em as elevated as you can. Should eventually go down. Just a war wound for a lil fun

Hubby got the crib all put up!! Not only put together but he also was cute as he put the sheet/bumper pad on. And of course the soft little stuffed tiger he bought the baby (his childhood nickname is Tiger). Too cute

Well, I am still at the top of the list. I will be 40 weeks on Wednesday (Friday by the doc's office). I am almost done cleaning the house enough to have mom be here for a week. All I ask is that this baby give me the weekend to finish up.

My house is a disaster with my photography stuff everywhere!! Found out yesterday that I have my first craft fair on Tuesday so wish me luck.

Thanks about the pooch....her ear is better, but not 100% so we're continuing the medication for another week.

I have a lawyer that is coming to meet with me at my home on Tues...he is the one my former director of nurses spoke to and mentioned my case, he feels I have one so I'll probably be utilizing him. As for the lawyers that others are using, I'll be named also in the discrimination/labor laws suit that my former director of nurses is bringing against the facility and the administration. So I'll be working with them and that lawyer as well. If all were to go as planned, we could be seeing 3 seperate monetary awards. My workers comp suit, the class action discrimination suit and one from the Dept. of Justice for discrimination re. the American with Disabilities Act (filing that after talking to the lawyer). So I'm well on my way to figuring things out finally.

The one thing I've learned after talking to OSHA, EEOC, ERA and lawyers....is that pregnant women have rights, they're just VERY gray/fuzzy....and it's hard to prove injury/loss of wages being discriminated against because of pregnancy. Thank god for the FMLA or I would have lost my insurance as well.

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been around much... our wedding is now in less than 3 weeks so I've been trying to get everything finished for that... yikes! I feel like I still hvae so much left to do! And to top it off my daughter has a school play on monday, and a church play the day after the wedding... her dress rehersal is the morning of the wedding! Ack! Thankfully my mom will be in town and can take her to the rehersal... the wedding is at 5pm, so she'll have plenty of time to get ready after that.

Now, pregnancy stuff... I'm confused... HOW are the weeks calculated? My ticker says I'm 10 weeks 2 days, but according to the PregnancyWeekly site I'm 11 weeks... that really doesn't sound right to me at all! When I could the weeks it looks like I'm 10 weeks as well... I've even double checked and that site has my correct EDD too, so no mistakes there... Hmmm...... oh well... I'm sticking with being 10 weeks.

It's supposed to be able to predict what sex your baby will be... it's supposedly all done by real people, not a computer program, so it's not instant... it can take a few days to get back... I've already submitted for mine... I'm hoping they say a boy and they're right!

GoJackets~thanks for the . What a yucky game yesterday? Are you guys going to Athens on Saturday? If I am not in the hospital, I am going to see if I can find it on TV down here. I have seem some brawls at that game in years past, but nothing like SC and Climpsun.

I worked for a couple of hours in the yard yesterday afternoon. I was laughing to myself as I pushed the lawn mower around the front yard. Laughing because I imagined a lot of people getting on to me for cutting grass at 39 weeks pregnant. But it felt so good to be outside and doing something. I also got some raking done. I draw the line at bagging the leaves though. I let DH bend over to do that. Even though I spent less than 2 hours in the yard, I was so sore last night. I really can't wait to get my stamina and endurance back. It is really hard when you want to mentally do something and your body flat out says NO.

Today, so far, I am taking it easy. DH is almost done installing our new kitchen faucet. Then we will be in the back yard to finish what little leaves we missed last night and to give it its last cut of the year. Then the fun starts....we are going to drag out the pressure washer and rinse off the front of the house. I just realized the other day that there are too many spider webs out there and they need to go. Oh, ladies....the joy of the nesting instinct. It may drive you crazy, but you WILL have a clean house.

Yesterday was my birthday.....we left at the start of the 4th quarter...I told DH that no way was I going to spend another of minute of my birthday watching that garbage on the field....it was ugly.....QB has to go.....

Fortunately, basketball season started - so we went to that game on Friday night and it was awesome!! TGFBasketball!!

DH is going to the UGA game.....he is taking some friends.....he doesn't think it would be a good idea for me to go.......the fans are pretty brutal there.....I think I will watch from the comforts of home.....I wonder if YOU will make it to Saturday? I dreamed we lost 75-7!!

I still haven't seen clips of the SC game...heard it was a good one!!!

I have been to Athens a couple of times as just a fan, and it can be pretty scary. One year I was sitting with my brother (GA alumni...boo) and Tech won! I was very nervous exiting the stadium with all my GT stuff on and my brother vowing no protection.

Lucky you for being able to leave in the fourth qtr. Being in the band, we always had to stay to the bitter end and beyond. The Fall 1994 season was awful. It was the year Tech only won 1 game....and I had to watch all the home losses .

Goodness, I hope your dream isn't right. I would hate to lose to GA by THAT much!!! I wonder too if I will make it to Saturday. I know there is a TV and VCR in my labor room, but I wonder if it is set up for cable....hmmmmm?
