Good morning ladies!

Congratulations Miss Gigl!

Well, the leaves were a no go today. My sweetie and I decided to go shopping instead. We went to the closest mall that has a JC Penny's and I finally found a bra that fits better. They only go up to 42DDD so I had to buy an extender, but the cup definately fits soooo much better...and it's perfect with the extender. Now my boobies are actually supported instead of just smashed against my chest. Hopefully, this bra will last me the rest of the pregnancy because I had to pay over 40 buck between the bra and the extender! I've NEVER payed that much for a bra....seems like highway robbery. I guess when I outgrow this one I will have to order online...*sigh*....then I will really feel huge!

Well, just taking it easy tonight. Gonna try again in the morning to pick up a few leaves...hopefully they will be drier. Have a great day everyone!

Ames

Hi everyone,

Ames, it seems to rain here at least once a day or night. I don’t know how I’ll ever get my yard clean!

Dar, thanks for the hugs! I’ve read and, I think, plan to do the perineal massage. It does sound gross, but less gross than a tear or cut…

Sarah, that empathy belly sounds like a riot!! How much fun

Kelley, yep, it was Fazer, 300grams…and it was good! LOL Your French toast sounds yummy. We don’t have low carb bread here, but I think (it was in Swedish) I saw an ad for low glycemic bread last night though…I’ll have to check it out. Wow, 700 bulbs! That’s A LOT!! I’ve planted about 50 and have 50 more…I’m a little concerned because I couldn’t get them 3 bulbs deep, all my beds are overrun by roots. Do you know if this is a big problem?

Suzanne, I’ll probably have to go through all that paperwork too…I think the baby will automatically have dual citizenship.

Emily, how are you liking being back? The days are getting so short here, and the weather has been terrible. It’s dark by 6pm and doesn’t get light until 7:30am now…ugh

Christina, I wouldn’t worry about the weight loss, it sounds like you’re doing great with the eating. I can’t seem to get a grip on it…

Hi Karatejen!

Michelle, sorry about your hubby. *hugs* Mine hasn’t been very frisky either. I’ve had to initiate every time for I don’t know how long now. I’m sure it’s because of my weight, but we do snuggle a lot. I know it’s hot there, but maybe you could crank the air in your bedroom at night so you two can at least snuggle close?

Feeling kind of icky today, I think I’ve been having sinus headaches. I wonder if Tylenol Sinus is safe during pregnancy…Overall, though I just feel crappy. It’s miserable weather and I really don’t feel like going to this meeting…Oh well, I’ll check back later.

MarthaD and MadameX....thanks for the advice. I know it seems like a somewhat trivial issue, but it's really getting me down.

Metroames....glad your "boobies" have found a comfy and safe home finally. I can only imagine how uncomfy you were.

Well it seems I should be happy I fell asleep at 8pm last night. My fball team lost, although it figures this year LOL. Guess it's a good season for me to be pregnant since they can't get it together.

Hubby and I went to Home Depot last night and got what he'll need to refinish the rocking chair we picked up for $10. He's all in his glory because I bought him an electric sander so that just *maybe* he'll get it done before this baby arrives. After that we did dinner and stopped at the store. Once I got home I had this incredible stretching pain on my sides of the top half of where the baby is sitting. Man did it hurt! I was literally waiting for my skin to rip open. I was finally able to get comfortable though and sleep.

Have my 28 week doc. appointment today. Hope all goes well!! See you ladies tonight.

Good morning Ames, Martha and DinFL!!

Monday's are rough for me at work, so I usually have enough time to lurk, but not enough time to write personals.

I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore. Everything hurts, and sex isn't fun anymore. I just can't find a comfortable position. I envy the women whose drive picks up, cuz mine's in the toilet. I am trying my best to be positive, but I even get winded walking the mall. I just want to be back to my usual amount of energy and stamina.

Martha~I almost I would love the fact the sun doesn't rise until 7:30am. It would help me sleep in better .

Ames~I hear ya on the bra blues. I have never spent so much money on bras before. I have plenty of various sizes now. I am determined to only buy one nursing bra before I deliver. I have no idea how much more I am going to grow after I deliver.

DinFL~My DH, who is known for his best intentions on projects is actually almost done refinishing a shelf for the nursery. I am shocked....very happily shocked . Hopefully yours will get your chair done soon.

Hi to everyone else!

Hey Gals!

Ames - OH, the bras...its really a travesty, isn't it? I was a 38D before pregnancy. I'm not even sure how big I am now. 'Ridiculously Large' is what my DH says! I had to go to a specialty shop - you should check the yellow pages and see if you have one in your area. I think I ended up with a 42G or something (but it was like in every brand I was a different size). My mother-in-law picked up the tab and it was a totally hilarious bonding experience for us - but anyway, they have lots in stock and you might be able to save yourself the hassle of ordering online, it possibly not fitting, having to send it back, etc. At least my belly is starting to pooch out further than my boobies!

Does anyone have a problem with chafing from their new boobs? I have this horrible chafing/heat rash either from my bras or from my skin growing - I don't know what it is, but nothing is helping and it itches horribly! Any advice? I wish I could go braless, but then I might get fired or something!

Sex is a weird topic for me right now. I had some issues in my 1st trimester and the doc said to abstain. Then, once we reached 12 weeks, we got the 'go ahead'. I feel like when I want it, DH doesn't and vice versa. I also feel bad because my hormones are so out of whack that I might think I want something, then I don't. Its a roller coaster. DH and I snuggle a lot, and he is very affectionate (to me and my belly). I am thankful for that. I also overheard him tell someone at church that he thinks my belly is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen, so I feel less self-conscious about it. We are both really busy and stressed right now (buying a house, grad school, law school, baby on the way...). I know now why they say marriages take a lot of work.

Awwwww! That is so sweet! During the summer I had something like heat rash under my boobs where the underwire on my bras rubs. I tried everything from going braless to cornstarch. The thing that finally worked was cream for jock itch. So it might have been a fungal infection.

karatejen, these last 5 weeks are so hard. Sorry to hear you are feeling bad already. I hope you don't go as far overdue as I did.

Michelle, good luck at your appt!

Metro, congrats on finding a bra that fits! I am so glad not to have big boobs this time around.

Martha, hope your sinuses get better. I used saline spray during my whole pregnancy and it really helped.

Where is Lizzy!?!

LOL, my boobies are the same around as my belly....I measured last week!

I've got the dry boobies too, but fortunately they aren't itchy yet so I haven't done anything about it. Not sure going braless would help though....then they would just hang to my knees and hurt in other ways!

Hey Ames, Marthad, DespinFl, KarateJen, ThininMex!!

Jenn - did you stop getting morning sickness while still on the progesterone? I'm 12 weeks today. The last two days I have been feeling well, but I'm still on the progesterone so I thought I would be sick.

Of course my paranoid little mind is working overdrive because I am not feeling any symptoms.

Did any of you just "stop" feeling symptoms after your first trimester? My boobs are still full and I am tired......nothing else though.

Mrs Sarah - I showed DH pictures of you and DH.....he's put on a few pounds since I've been pregnant and said he was working on his own personal "empathy" belly.

Start Date: Who the heck knows...
AMES & JENN - Holy moly! I feel for you girls. Heck, I thought it was hard to find button down maternity shirts for me, and I only reached a D.

DENA - That's funny about DH! Funny how they seem to gain with us. (Mine did anyway)

KARATEJEN - I can totally understand. I feel for ya. The last weeks are the worst. It's funny though, how you seem to forget it after the sweet baby gets here!

MICHELLE - Good luck with DH and the rocking chair! I'm a procrastinator too. So I can relate to him.

MARTHA - Hope you start feeling better!

Took Anna to her 6 month yesterday, and I have to take her back next week. He's a tiny bit concerned, because her heartrate was faster than he liked, but he thinks it's due to her being a little congested and having a minor ear infection. He said that she's fooled us, because she was so good natured. I mean, I knew she was a tad congested, but she was working her way through that. I had NO IDEA about the ear infection. He said that when babies fight off infections (even minor ones), that their heart rate will usually speed up a little. So, he just wants to see her next week to make sure everything's okay.

Other than that, she's 26.5 inches tall and 15.5 pounds. So, she's a little thin for her height, but she recently went through a growth spurt. It's nothing he's worried about. Now, I just have to fatten my munchkin up. Who knew my 9 pounder would be anywhere near UNDERweight. (Like I said, he wasn't concerned about that... Just strikes me as weird, that she's little.)

Hi, girls, no real time for personals this morning.. working on our proposal.

I was so ill last night.. we ate dinner really late and I felt so nauseous after. The first time I came really close to hitting the toilet. I finally just forced myself to lay down and go to sleep, and woke up feeling better.

Gotta run!

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited today - just wanted to tell you that it looks like I am not "broken". According to FF I ovulated on Saturday!! I BD'd all last week, including Wednesday and Thursday (Friday I was in NYC) so now I am just crossing my fingers!

Don't have a lot of time for personals...I just wanted to share my good news. Now all I have to do is wait.

DENA - I only had about a week of true morning sickness and it was while I was about week 8. Other than that, I had on and off again slight nausea, but nothing bad. My symptoms would come and go constantly - freaking me out something horrible. Finally I asked the doc and she said that our bodies adjust and sometimes 'level off' with all the raging hormones - so symptoms can come and go. I once woke up with absolutely NO breast tenderness, only to be crying the next day because my boobs hurt so bad. Hang in there! I started to feel great about 10-11 weeks - and haven't been nauseas or had any breast tenderness since. I had no weird change in symptoms when I went off the progesterone either - it was a very seamless transistion for me. I am sure it will be for you, too! I have days (today is one of them) that I don't feel pregnant AT ALL. Sometimes I run to the bathroom to push on my lower tummy just to feel that it is still extremely hard! It's all a mind game, and I have to say that is the WORST part of the pregnancy thus far for me. I won't 'feel' pregnant, then I will get horrible heartburn and its like the baby is saying, "Its ok Mom, I'm still here!"

Smiley - AWESOME!!!! Aren't you SOOOOOO glad to know that you ovulate??? Charting is awesome for that reassurance!

Amy Bear ~ Great Pictures. Off topic...is that your dog? What kind is it?

Jenn ~ It feels GREAT to know that I do ovulated. Does anyone know if it is bad that I O'd on day 23 of a 28 day cycle.

Know what is bad - and you ALL are going to yell at me - but now I am nervous that maybe my temps were wrong and that I didn't O at all. *shakes head* I know, I know...calm down, relax. LOL

I don't think it is *bad*. The books say that certain things in our life can delay our cycle....or you may just ovulate late. You will need a few more months of looking at your cycle. If it is regularly late, I think that means you have a short luteal phase which they say may make it harder to implant......off to look.....looks like there are plenty of ways to get help if needed with short luteal phases. I am reading where lots of women successfully conceived. Have you been exercising much?

Hopefully, you won't have to chart long enough to find out anyway!

Edited to add: This is one good benefit of charting....if you determine that you do have short luteal phases after two or three months with no pregnancy, the doctor could treat you sooner with good charting. Some treatments are clomid or progesterone (which I am on now) and are highly successful.

Whoa, sorry to hear about all the hubby/sex problems. I hope it gets better.

I have just the opposite problem. My drive has increased and so has hubby's It's all I can do to keep his hands off me. it's like, Sheesh! Enough already! But he's a touchy feely guy, so I really can't complain. He loves putting his head on my belly and letting the little bean knock him around.

Well. Good news. The house finally sold. We got almost four thousand over asking price from the buyer because he wants us to pay his closing costs. Finally a smart buyer! Now let's just hope it appraises and passes inspection. The only bummer? I have to move in 19 days!!!

So we went house hunting last night and put an offer on a house and looked at two others as back ups. We should know something today.

On the pregnancy front, everything is going well. Glucose test is in two weeks. I am not looking forward to jacking myself up with that much sugar! Ick! My belly is still not pooking past my chest yet and I'm 26 weeks. I'm guessing I won't really pooch for another couple of weeks. I was like that with my first. I don't carry high or low, just sort of all over, so its kinda hard to tell if I am not wearing the right clothes.

Good morning ladies!

I have a lot of stretching pains in my belly today. I feel very sore. My wishful thinking keeps hoping that means something is happening... but who really knows. I have a doc appt tomorrow and he's going to check my cervix to see if I'm dialating at all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I feel so ready.

Ames: I'm glad you found a bra! It makes such a difference to find one that fits right!

Martha: I'm sorry about the sinus headache. Maybe give a call to your doc to see what's safe to take. I hope you feel better!

Michelle: Good luck on your appointment today! I hope your DH gets the rocking chair done.

Jen: I am so with you! I'm ready to be done. I'm sick of being uncomfortable. We're almost there!

JennP: The pregnant sex drive is a weird thing, isn't it? It will work itself out.

Suzanne: Hi!

Dena: My symptoms all went away abouta bout 17 weeks. I felt great! I had energy, wasn't sick, etc. I think it's pretty normal. The second trimester is the golden period. A lot of women experience a loss of symptoms at 12 weeks or so.

Jenn: I hope Anna's ear infection clears up soon!

Dar: I'm sorry you had a bad night!

Smiley: Great news!!

littlebear: Wonderful pictures!!

vixen: I hope you feel better!

Good morning everyone!!

GoJackets - I was on progesterone from the first day I went to the dr for bloodwork until I hit 12 weeks. My queasiness subsided quite a bit around weeks 10 & 11 and went away completely as soon as I stopped the progesterone. My dr said it was very common for morning sickness to ease up or go away completely around 11 weeks. As the placenta takes over the hcg
