Haven't posted in a few days as I've just felt bleck between the dad crap and some physical things lately. Ever since the "cart" incident at the store Saturday....I've been having some cramping and intense lower abdomen pressure when I stand up. When I sit or lie down it's almost non-existent but it takes my breath away when I stand or walk at first. I've called the doc and since there is no bleeding, she isn't alarmed. She thinks perhaps I have some internal bruising that is causing it. I go today for my monthly prenatal visit so I'm sure we'll discuss it more. I'll check in later t'nite after my visit.

Caught up on the other threads.....sending labor vibes to our hopefully soon to be mommies!!! Can't believe Suzanne is out tanning in a thong!!

Michelle ~ Hope that you are doing better, worried a bit because I didn’t see you post Tues. Did you see my post on Monday? Hang in there dealing with that kind of stuff really sucks!! That on top of the whole cart thing, hope everything checks out ok at your Dr. appt. Will be waiting to see how it goes!!

Ames ~ Sorry to hear that you where feeling poopie, hopefully you are feeling better now!! David has to do shift sign ups every 4 months and he has to sign up for a years worth of vacations in November. Good luck and I hope that you get the shift that you want!!

Martha ~ That really sucks about your dryer I cant believe he charged you that much and did not fix it. I was wondering what water draining had to do with your dryer? I think that all dryers are made the same no matter where you are and there is no need for water to drain. There is a big vent tub that usually lead to the outside, let me know I will try to help. I have completely remodeled my home myself, my husband is useless around the house. I guess that is one advantage to growing up in a rural area!!

Darlene ~ Have you tried the flax hot cereals that they have or psyllium husk pills. If all else fails a few Hershey's SF chocolates always seem to get things moving a little to well! Good luck telling your boss!!

ChristinaK ~ Have you looked into the air purifiers that they sell through sharper image? My neighbors son had sever allergies a few months back and so they got one for his room. It worked wonders so they got one for the living room to (I just ordered mine after talking to her)

JennPayton ~ Glad to here that you are feeling good !! Doesn't it feel good to be in the 2nd trimester!!?? I cant wait for that weight to be lifted of my shoulders.

Kelley ~ Where they able to tell you the sex at 15 weeks??

Dena ~ Hang in there I will keep you in my prayers that you are soon holding you little miracle. Try not to stress, it will all be SO worth it in the end. If you don’t mind me asking how far along are you??

Jefinner ~ Welcome Back, Congratulations & Hello !! LOL cant wait to get to know you, when is you first appt? It will be neat to see how close we are with our due dates!!

GetNSlim ~ Cant wait for the snow. Hoping to get in a couple ski trips up to Tahoe before I get TO big. Thanks for the exercise tip I walk 3 times a week but I guess I need to up that, I have just been so dang tired!!

SmileyAmy ~ Aint' karma a *****!! Glad to here that you are controlling your urges to grab your boobs!! Don’t stress about the test I didn’t get a HPT+ until the day before AF was due!! Clearblue was the darkest of all the tests I took. You will get your + soon !!

Sarah ~ OMG I would kill for a Krispy Kreme, but I know if I cave now that I will start eating them all the time. Its been so long I have *almost* forgot what they taste like!! I love showers give us the details!! Who is throwing it, what is the theme, what type of games?

So I thought that I was going to have my first round of m/s Tuesday afternoon I got the metallic/watery mouth so I ate a piece of whole wheat bread, chewed a couple ginger altoids and took a nap. Was all better when I woke up. Well I guess this is going to be the week that we have issues with our estranged fathers My stepmom called this afternoon. I have not talked to either in almost a year and when I did it was when I bumped into her at Hope Depot. So she is throwing him a surprise 55th B-day party this Friday and want me to go. She pulled the "do it for me" card, witch is low cause she know all to well about our relationship but she also knows that I like her. I think I should be the bigger person and go, but I just know that it will only end badly. Oh what to do!!

I feel for ya on the party thing. That's what started this whole crap with my Dad, their 25th anniv. "Shindig" and us not being able to afford to travel up for it. Suddenly I was evil as I disrupted the portrayal of his perfect family he wanted there to support him.

In the end, don't let her guilt you into a decision. Make the one that is best for you and your mental health. Trust me, I have finally learned that one the hard way!

Thanks, Chelsea. Telling my boss was pretty simple. The higher up boss seemed genuinely happy, and even sent me a little e-mail later telling me to take care of myself. My immediate boss (the guy who doesn't really know me yet).. he was kind of like "ok, why are you telling me?" A little discouraging, but oh, well.

Morning Ladies, I feel like I'm not say lazy now to be posting when there are only a few other posts!!! Anyway, up early today because the kids and I are going to M.O.P.S. It is for Mothers Of Pre Schoolers! It should be alot of fun! It will give me a couple hours break and the kids will get to play with other kids!

DIF-Glad to see you posting again. Hope everything is okay at your appointment. I'm sure it is. I was so worried when I was pregnant with my son because my daughter (was 11 months-20 months) would run at me and jump on me all the time. But babies able to take ALOT more than we give them credit for!

Chels-I love to ski also. However, for the past (this will be 3rd) few years I haven't been able to as much due to being pregnant or having nursing babies at home!!

Hello everyone! So I have a small rant this morning about the fact that every single symptom of pregnancy is EXACTLY the same as every single symptom of pms. Grrrrr. Seriously- cramps, sore boobs, tiredness, moodiness? All could be pregnancy OR pms. How could two things that are practically opposites exhibit the exact same symptoms? It's enough to drive me nuts, every single month.

Oh well, it'll happen. My period is due in six days, so we'll see if this is my lucky month. I'm going to start charting if it's not- I went out and bought an bbt thermometer, and I'm on a waiting list at the library for that "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" book. I might as well get started with that sort of thing, so if a year does go by without us getting pregnant, I'll be able to go to the dr. with all the info he needs.

Anyway- thanks again for all the welcomes! I love reading all about what everyone is experiencing- it makes pregnancy seem a little more close and real or something. I'm excited to get to know all of you!

I had a rough night last night. I just couldn't get comfortable. The baby was sitting really low in my belly and it was so uncomfortable! It was painful to get up to potty. But this morning he's moved around and I feel much better. So nice that he saves that for nighttime!!

DFL: I hope your appt. goes well today and that they figure out why you are hurting!

Chelsea: My mother is throwing my shower. There really isn't a theme, per se... just blue. She has several games planned. One is a memory game and the other is a game involves panty hose and a cucumber. Should be hilarious!!

Good morning ladies.

Yesterday was a crappy day. I couldn't sleep worth a toot and got myself in such a tizzy over the schedule that it made my stomach hurt really bad. My husband suggested I stay home last night. I said no and tried to go back to sleep...but after being unsuccessful again and deciding I would be running on less then 4 hours of sleep (if I actually got back to sleep) that I wouldn't be in good shape at work...especially with all the stress and all. So I called in sick and slept till my husband got home. I didn't really feel that bad then, so I kind of felt guilty for calling in, but I think it was good because I was able to destress a lot. I still had diarreha again and also indigestion last night which I haven't had for a while...so I was still miserable, but nothing I would have stayed home for.

Anyway, just got back from the ultrasound and everything looks good and healthy and we found out its a.......................

I can't believe it! I thought for sure it was going to be a girl, but I really did want a boy. Well, I broke the second trimester trend for girls.

Strawberry, glad to hear you are "taking charge".. so to speak! I charted and took my temp, but the one thing that really helped me was my fertility monitor. It helped us conceive sooner. I didn't have a period for 3 months, so it would have taken a couple additional months to get a pattern going on my chart. Fortunately, with the monitor, I didn't have to worry about that, and the first month I used the drugs, we conceived!

I suppose it's easier for couples who baby dance often (ok, I'm speaking really generally here.. don't want to piss off Sarah with that comment!), but hubby has difficulties, so we don't do it as often as I'd like.

No time for personals today - I was out of work Monday and Tuesday so I am trying to catch up.

But, I do have a question.

I took the hpt yesterday for the hell of it. Negative. I have slight boob soreness, am really tired, have had a headache for three days straight, moody and now this morning I noticed I feel slightly crampy and when I wipe, there is a little blood. Just pinkish.

I am due for AF either Friday or Saturday and I usually don't get any PMS symptoms except for the first day of my period I do get cramps.

My questions is, could I have tested negative yesterday 11 DPO but still test positive a few days later?

I don't want to get my hopes up, but I have never spotted this early. I usually start spotting the day my period begins and by the end of the day I have it.

Any ideas?

I don't want to get your hopes up either, but it is entirely possible. I tested 5 days apart and went froma negative to a positive.

I don't want to get my hopes up either - but the spotting has thrown me off. This never happens to me. I think it is too late - how can you NOT get your hopes up. I mean, I am not going to be hysterical if I am not pregnant, but I will be bummed.

I don't mind you asking me ANYTHING!!! I am a little over 8 weeks. Baby is due 5/3/05. I lost my first one at 10 weeks on Memorial Day this year. It was depressing having my name on the list and then taking it off, so I figured I would get past my first trimester before I put it back up there.

Because I know you guys tried for so long to concieve. I didn't want you to think that I thought it was easy for people to conceive who don't have sex issues. I know it's not easy to conceive, but having a hubby who wants to have sex probably makes it easier.

And yes, it's entirely possible for you to test neg. then pos. Your HCG levels increase each day, and the tests only test pos. if there is a certain level of the hormone. They are not super sensitive, but I think someone else posted some will test pos. at a level of 100? Your normal level is about 5. When you are pg., they will double each day, I believe. When I tested one day before TOM was due, I got a REALLY faint line and at the end of the 'waiting time'. The next day, I got a much faster and stronger positive. (Hey, I had to be sure!)
