I am very tired today. Watched Cold Mountain last night after Jessica went to sleep and I didn't know it was so long- so I didn't get to bed until after midnight.

Morning ladies!!

We had a great weekend camping. It was pretty hot on Saturday (yuck) but it rained Sunday so it was nice and cool and fresh. It was so nice. My parents and DH threw me a party up there with some friends. I had no idea!! My mom made crab legs and cheesecake w/ strawberries for dessert. It was all so wonderful!!

It's official... I'm starting to retain water. I can't wear my wedding ring anymore. I was so sad taking it off last night and putting it away...

Kristen: Did you like the movie? I thought it was good, but it is long!

Katie: I loved your pictures from the weekend thread. So wonderful!!!!!!!

A friend of mine's due day was yesterday. I guess she started having contractions yesterday morning. They are expecting a baby girl. I can't wait to hear the news that she's here!!

I hope you all had a great weekend.

I have been having some bleeding problems all weekend. Still continuing today. I tend to spot a little every pregnancy but not this much. I'm going to take a preganacy test again. I had 2 neg. last month when I was late and then one positive this last week. So, maybe I am not really pregnant. I will have to wait and see.

Sarah- I'm glad you had fun camping. Sorry about the water retention. There are a number of natural things that you can do to help that. If you are interested let me know.

Well, I have to get going. It is a rainy day here so I should get some house work done.

Sarah- Do you have a gold chain that you can put your rings on and wear them around your neck. That is what I did last time. I couldn't bear to be without my rings. My cousin actually bought a fake ring in a bigger size to wear because she couldn't stand not wearing a ring- LOL! I liked the movie- It was just longer than I thought so I am very tired today.

Good morning ladies...
Another blazing hot weekend here in the west! Spent most of it in or by the pool cooling off. Saturday we had a party for dd's girl scout troop (at the pool, of course).

I'm off to a peri appt. and biophysical profile this morning. Hoping I haven't gained yet MORE weight! Argh! Gaining way too much with this pg. Even when I try to eat less, I still gain weight.

Sarah: Yay for your friend! Boo for retaining water. Does it come and go or once it arrives it's there for the duration? I agree with you about being scared to lose my ring if I wear it around my neck.

Kristen: I have not yet seen Cold Mountain. Doesn't it seem like movies are getting longer and longer? I could barely make it through Lord of the rings this weekend (fantasy isn't really my thing). I hope you can take a nap today!

Teach: I'm sweltering in the heat too! At 8:30 this morning the fan kicked on from the thermostat! Good luck at your appointment!

I almost hate to even say it just in case...but I think my morning sickness is improving. I'm taking less meds for it and I don't throw up first thin every morning. Plus, my apetite is returning. By 10:30 AM I already ate my breakfast AND luch, about 850 calories worth. I ate lunch right after I finished my eggs and sausage and fruit for breakfast! So, I am cautiously optimistic, but I'm also a little worried since it seems a little too soon for m/s to go away? I'm almost 11 weeks. We saw the baby on ultrasound on Friday very active, HR 179. I just worry that I'm not feeling as miserable as last week. Darned if you do, darned if you don't...any advice? When did your m/s go away?

SARAH: I hated having to take off my ring too, I ended up buying a cheap fake to wear. I still ended up having to have my ring made bigger after Cassidy was born. *sigh*, I was just happy to have it back on. Now, if I could only get back into my closet full of clothes.

Sounds like a fun weekend camping. Did you sleep okay?

Oh, and about the leg cramps, I had them terribly while preggo (at night), I kept Tums w/calcium on the nightstand and would eat like 3-6 a night. Bananas are good too! (the potassium)

Well as for me,,...not much going on. I went to my 6 week checkup and all is well w/ me. I am returning to work next Monday and am very sad. It would have been 8 weeks by then. Weight has halted but the breastfeeding is going great. Well here is two pics of Alexia coming up!!

Just got settled in after work - ahh it's nice to sit down.

Cold Mountain - Good movie, but i really really hate the fact that the hot guy buys it in the end, that really stinks..........

Rings - I can still wear mine at 30 weeks - so i guess that has been one thing i haven't had to endure! But i hate carrying around this huge belly and wearing clothes from Omar the Tentmaker.....

Went to TJ Mazz today, got the cutest hamper for 4.99!!!!! Alos, bought a book called Me and My Daddy as a gift for my husband....

I don't know about you girls, but I am ready to deliver this baby.....

A lady called me about a 3 night lamaze class - but it costs $125 and i know my hubby will be displeased at that price.....

Hi again... back from my appt. All is well, though baby is currently in a very odd position. He's lying transverse, which means across. His head is nead my left hip and his feet near my right. He was head up a week ago, so this is a move in the right direction, at least. Dh went with me, so he got to see some of baby's parts, at least.

Cynthia- Alexia is beautiful. I love the one of her sleeping in her car seat. Jessica used to sleep the best in her car seat.

Ellen- Glad everything is good.

LittleBear- I am ready also- I can still wear my rings - no swelling as of yet. I even went to an outlet mall over the weekend and walked for about 6 hours and no swelling!! Today I feel really big in the tummy- like the baby is pushing up on my lungs or something. My hospital doesn't even charge for the lamaza classes if you are going to give birth at the hospital. They are also having a sibling class to get your current child used to a baby. I will take Jessica to that next month.

STACY: Thanks for commiserating with me on the ring issue. It's just a sad thing! I did sleep well up camping. I got a little warm at night, but not too bad. I need to go get some bananas. Those cramps HURT! They seem to be right in the same spot as my sciatic nerve. Do you think there's a connection?

I don't know what's up with this swelling. My mom swelled terribly with me. I was hoping I wouldn't have it!! It could be due to the hot weather too. Hopefully it will go down. I've taken some Dandelion Root in the mornings, but I think I need to throw in an afternoon dose too. Hopefully that will help!

Hi Everyone!

I was too busy at work to get to post today.

I found a really neat baby consignment shop this weekend. I now have a crib and a blue pooh bedding set.

Here's the pic:


I got the stroller at the Salvation Army a couple of months ago. It was in such good shape, I just had to get it. If nothing else, it can be an extra or a back-up.

Gotta go check on dinner. BBL

Hi Guys,

I'll probably post this again tomorrow since most of you are long gone by now. Does anyone else in the 3rd trimester feel miserable? Between the irritability, achiness, tiredness and insomnia I'm having a hard time. My newest symptom (I could only tell a bunch of preggos this) is pain in my crotch, mostly an ache but sometimes a stabbing sensation when I walk. Ouch! I'm guessing this is my bones softening and separating?

Ok, enough ******ing. My shower on Saturday was great! We got enough gift cards plus returns to get a travel system, new mattress for the crib we inherited, and tons of other little things on our registry. We also got a bunch of clothes from a little fancy kiddie boutique that we were able to return and get stuff we liked. I've enjoyed all the showers but I'm kinda glad there are no more functions planned!

Someone asked what travel sysem I got...it was the Graco Literider 3000. It was only $100 at Target, is lightweight, and the car seat part is the SnugRide which scored high on Consumer Reports.

One question for moms....what is a good gift for a 6 year old girl? We have a b-day for a cousin coming up and I have NO IDEA what to get her.

Trolly- I just wanted to send sympathy your way...I had that crotch pain and it is just terrible. It feels like someone kicked you in the crotch with a pointed boot! Sometimes putting heat on it when you sit or lay down helps but that is about it! unfortunately. Hang in there--it goes away after pregnancy.....
