Hi Everyone -

Up early so I thought I would get us started!!!!! Hope everyone had a good evening.

Went to Home Depot last night and picked out some new carpet for the house. Someone should be out tomorrow to do all the measurements and the installation will be next week.

Feeling rested today as I went to bed at 8:30pm last night and woke up at 6:00am.

Well I finally made it off the "trying" list! I am 4 week and 4 days along, with an EDD of 3/13/05.

First Dr. appt. today, kinda nervous! I guess I am scared that the 6 pregnancy tests I did could be wrong...

Not much new here. We went shopping at Costco last night (to the tune of $200 bucks! ) Anyway, we have decided that we are going to buy something for the baby everytime we go there. So, last night I bought a big box of wipes. I figure if I start doing that then I'll have a good stock of stuff on hand and won't have to buy it all at once. It's so fun buying baby stuff!!!

The baby has been moving around a ton today. It was pretty quiet yesterday but today he's kicking me like crazy!!

Wendy: We bought berber carpet from Home Depot and have REALLY loved it - it is soooooo low maintenance and easy to clean (especially with the kids).

JennP: CONGRATS!!!! I have been wondering about you! You will have to update us after your appt!!!

Sarah: We always spend too much at the warehouse places LOL... Good idea on buying baby stuff as you go AND as its on sale!

My dr's office called and my PE labs came back good again. Thank goodness. BUT I still have this freaking headache and the bp is staying high 150-155/86-96 - even laying down. What a PIA! Anyway, I am hoping to hold delivery off until next week at 37wks, I just don't want to run the risk of having another baby in the NICU. So keep your fingers crossed

Mrs. Sarah - Great idea about buying something everytime you are at Costco! I have been doing the same thing. When we moved in our house 6 years ago we didn't upgrade the carpet so it is looking pretty bad.

Angela - WooHoo on the good results. Hope Michael can wait one more week to meet you Glad to hear someone has been happy with their carpet purchase from Home Depot.

Angela - I'm still here... Glad you PE labs were OK. Sorry about your BP... You're only a week away from 37w! Hang in there! Like you said before, knowing our luck, we'll be 42w and still pregnant!

My SIL just found out she's pregnant with #2! My little guy will have 2 cousins very close in age. I am very excited about that. She's not very thrilled about this pg because her DH always works late, and she had a bad hemorrhage due to low platelets that almost killed her when delivering #1. How scary... But I'm still excited for her.

Wendy- I love to buy new stuff for the home. We have to get the babies room carpeted and our bedroom - The rest of the house we had carpeted two years ago so it still looks good!

Katie - Hi There! I remember how bad my sleep was when I was 37 weeks with DD. WooHoo that tomorrow is your last day of work. At least you will be able to relax at home and not worry about work Congrats to your SIL and pray that all goes well with this pregnancy. It is great having cousins so close in age. DD has 4 of them within 6 months of her B-Day.

Kristen - Hope your day gets better. I am cranky because I have to be at work.

Well, its starting, I can't have a complete night's sleep. I'm starting to get uncomfortable. I can't sleep on my back anymore, but I can't sleep on one side for too long either. Another six months to go! LOL

Sarah, I always get my daipers, wipes and formula from Costco. You get that huge tin of formula and half the price.

Sorry, I am seldom posting, I seem to never have any time


Well both babies have moved out of intensive care, and are now in medium care.
Which basicly just means they are both gaining weight!!!
They are still in incibators, but the next step is low care and actual breastfeeding in my arms, if they hold the same gaining pattern, that will be in two weeks!

I am recovering nicely from my C-section, except for a golfball pocket of fluid, which I get drained in the near future.

Ok I am having entirely too much of a good time with the smilies!

Viki - Sorry to hear about the sleeping problems!

Chris - WooHoo on the twins out of intensive care and that much closer to you holding and feeding them!!!!!

Dr. Appt. went well. I gained 2lbs in the past 2 weeks so not too bad. She decided to do an internal to make sure everything is ok. My urine culture keeps showing blood (not that I can see it) so she wanted to make sure there is not pre-term labor. She did say the cervix is open but goes to closed, so that is a good sign. His head is in the down position. She is going to send the cultures in and will call with the results. She doesn't think I am in pre-term labor but just wants to be on the safe side.

Well, I know I have been MIA for the last week. Work has been he!!. I have worked every day except Sunday since last Friday and most of them 11 - 13 hours a day.

Just popping in to see if any new babies were born. Red congrats on your healthy babies! Can't wait to see pictures and I am so glad they are doing well!

Sarah- have you decided on a name yet for your little boy?

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up much lately with everyone, been very busy. Katie is growing like a weed and is finally getting some fat on her! She is outgrowing that Sharpae (SP?) look Starting to really notice people now too. She really looks and studies you when you talk to her. Last night was our first bout of gas, or colic. She cried half the night She is however sleeping in her cradle all night (finally out of our bed) and is only waking up once I started her on cereal at night in her bottle to hold her a little better and it's working. Yahh! Will post some new pics next week when I get them developed.

The u/s technician said that she was 100% sure. She pointed to the screen and said "That's a penis. And what a "big" boy he is." DH started laughing. She even gave us a picture of it. But I don't have a scanner and I am sure you guys would rather take my word on it than for me to be posting porno on our thread .

Viki: I have had a hard time finding a comfy sleeping position this time too. If I lay too long on either side my hips hurt but laying on my back is totally out of the question! I hope you find a new comfy position soon!!

Chris: I would be all smiles too if I were you!! I know its been stressful for you so glad the little ones are in the "growing" stage now!! Hope they are little piggies and gain QUICK for you

Wendy: I had the "funneling" cervix about the same time as you are now - but I was having sporadic contractions... are you contracting at all? Hopefully you stay closed for awhile Its probably that BIG boy putting all that pressure on your cervix!

Tracy: Good to here from you - hope the COLIC was a one time deal and STAYS AWAY!!

Jen: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Can't believe the BOY trend is still going strong! After 2 girls my son's u/s was REALLY obvious that it was a boy LOL These boys just don't seem shy one bit when it comes to showing you their goods! Any name ideas?

Angela - How are you feeling today? I have been having sporadic Braxton Hicks. My stomach is so tight right now that I just want to go home and put my feet up. He has definitely been putting alot more pressure on me now that he is head down (thank goodness).

Here's Anna the other day when I put her on her tummy... That day, she did not like being on her tummy. Am I wrong to think she's cute when she's mad. (She wasn't crying... Just fussing and aggravated...)



Now, after a turn on her back and a pacifier, everything's A-OK! LOL!
