Could I be Pregnant (Yeah I am a multi poster)
I'm having some REALLY weird symptoms lately.
-fatigue -Headaches -Bouts of Neausea (no vomiting) -Slight tenderness of breasts (well just one) The top three are REALLY bothering me.. Sometimes I wake up feeling really sick and sluggish, then I can eat something(that I eat all the time) and get neausea. UGH What is it! I feel soo bad.. Could it be something else. Even if I was I won't be able to test until the 22nd. Could I have symtoms this soon?? I also have REALLY short MC (2 days), does that affect the way you ovulate? When I try to use a conception calc., it asks me for my first day of my last mc Well HELLO I only have it for two days! Do I take 5 days off and make it a 23 day cycle? or something er other? I am sooo confused! *cries* Also, I am off my BC(depo) for 3 months... Could I still be coming off that? Sorry to be so confusing.. It is 2AM after all. ![]()

Well, it was a long time ago (my baby is 12 years old now!) but I had wooziness and lightheadedness a full week before my period was due when I was first pregnant with him. I remember nearly passing out in the shower one morning!

Most over the counter Pregnancy tests show a positive (if in fact u are) before you miss ur period now. They detect the hcg hormone in ur urine rather quickly. Buy one and try it. It is very hard to get a false positive since that hormone is needed to show the positive...if you show a negitive do another in a week or so cuz it may be too early and your HCG levels may be to low to give a positive.
Just so you know... Depo can take up to 18 MONTHS to get out of your ststem, thats why Dr's recommend waiting at least a year to get pregnant after stopping it. Good luck, Ween |

Why not test now? It can't hurt... and think of how much better you will feel if you find out you ARE pregnant- that way you won't be putting anything bad into your body- meds, etc... there's no reason to wait to test.
If you get a negative, and continue to have the feelings... you can retest every week... that is what my GYN told me when I skipped a period one month- I tested every week for a month- ended up I wasn't pregnant, but I felt better knowing... simply b/c I was worried every time I took migraine meds, etc- in case I was, etc. G

If you are feeling symptoms of pregnancy, you are pregnant enough to test positive on a home test. Trust me. Both pregnancies I tested positive in excess of a week before my period was due.
Good luck! |

I had symptoms of pregnancy within 2 or 3 weeks after becoming pregnant. It could very possibly be that you are. Go to a clinic and ask for a pregnancy test if you don't want to wait.

I knew I was pregnant 2 weeks before I could test. My breasts were really tender and I felt sick and lightheaded. I tried testing but it was negative until the 2nd day of my missed period so it's not true that if you have signs you'll test positive. I even tried the one where you can test before your missed period and that too was negative.

I've been pregnant 3 times and every time I had symptoms within days of conception. I found that the best home test available is the First Response Early Response test. With my current pregnancy, I had had a miscarriage and wasn't sure when I ovulated and when I should test. I tested and got a positive at what turned out to be 8 days post ovulation.
Regarding your cycle length, day 1 is the day you start your period. You count the days until you start you period again. There is a lot of useful information regarding trying to conceive issues at fertilityfriend.com and ovusoft.com. |

I got pregnant exactly 3 months after coming off of Depo. I agree you should get one of the over the counter tests.

Quote:
The 22nd is two weeks from today...is that when you expect your next period? If so, then you would be ovulating about now. Also, you say you had a very short period last time...I had light bleeding with my last two pregnancies right around the time my period was due, so you never know! But if you could answer the above questions, it would be easier to determine where you are in your cycle. |

FYI, the length of your period has nothing to do with when you ovulate. When you ovulate determines when your period starts, typically 12-14 days afterwards.
