Good Morning and TGIF to all of you who have weekends!

Chris, glad to hear you had such a good check up and that the twins are prospering. My friend who is having twins says the first doc told her she had 2 sacs at 8 weeks pregnant. The second doc only found one sac at 14 weeks pregnant but there are still two babies. She is also having some placenta seperation so she is on bedrest.

It sounds like everybody had good check ups yesterday. I need to go exercise, I have been really slack the last two weeks. My goal this morning is 8 K in under an hour and a half. The way my pelvic bones feel these days, I'll be luck to accomplish this.

Well another busy day ahead!

I am running off to a few tag sales to hunt for good baby bargains and then will spend the rest of the day in the nursery.

The theme is "jungle". I am in the process of hanging tree limbs on the ceiling and attaching artificial vines and little butterflies and stuffed monkeys. Yes I am nuts!

The painting is done, thank the lord! It was too much work. I have to paint the doors with a fresh coat of white, but that can be done later in the summer.

I have really enjoyed reading these threads!!!!!! I will check back in later today and report with any goodies i find.

I am having a much better day. I got some new meds since the insurance company was draggin their feet on refilling my Zofran. Either these new meds (Trimethobenzamide) are working better, or the worst is over, or it was just a fluke that I had a good day. I have been able to eat better the last few days too, so that could be part of it. In a few days I will try to take the Flinstone vitamins just to make sure that these new meds are working ok. Don't want to change too much at once ya know. I think I'll stay away from the nasty prenatals till my doctor makes me take them.

My bowels sure are bothering me though. It's like I feel like a gotta go, but then it won't come out. I've also been having some crippling gas cramps at times too...probably because it is so stopped up. I've actually gone some every day for the last 4 days, but it ain't nothing to sneeze at. I know I've been eating more food than that. I guess that's why my little pooch has grown since last week even though I probably lost a few pounds from all the throwing up I did last week. Isn't pregnancy fun! I have a hard time right now thinking this is worth it since I just feel sick instead of pregnant, but I'm sure once I hear that first heartbeat next month I'll change my mind.

Little Bear, your nursery sounds so cool, post pictures when you are done.

Metro, have you tried taking milk of magnesia for your constipation? It's safe to take and may help with nausea, too.

The strangest thing happens when I power walk--my hands swell up like balloons. When I was running, before pregnancy, my hands would puff up a bit but now it is comical. It goes down within an hour but sure looks weird until it does.

Good Morning!

Just want to say thanks for "listening" to me yesterday. I think it really helped to get things out. I felt a lot more rational yesterday afternoon LOL Still in nesting mode though Today I will be steam cleaning the hall and the girls room and purging the kitchen. Yesterday I wiped all the walls down cleaned the guest bath squeaky clean. I am in the WEIRD cleaning mode where I do the baseboards, take knobs off the sinks to clean - not just the quicky clean. Its really weird but I am taking advantage of the urge while I can - then I am getting a maid to upkeep it Just don't think I will have much time with 3 little ones and homeschooling.

bear: The nursery sounds GREAT! You will have to post pics when you are done! I am still plugging away in ours. I just need to finish the big mural and hang pictures and ITS DONE DONE DONE!

metro: Insurance crap is the worst! I am hoping these meds are helping you and its not just a fluke

Suzanne: Good morning! That is so strange about the hand swelling!!! Sounds definitely like a circulation problem but WHY? hmmmmm - you might want to mention it to the dr.

Chris: Glad to hear the babies are growing! I know Ernest was freaked when you had the contractions - it is unnerving when you aren't suppose to be. I keep telling Michael, "you aren't done yet, so stay in!" My contractions are getting strange - they are causing a lot of cervical pains, like a nerve is being hit. Thanks for reminding me to pack my bag too I thought about it a week ago then I forgot, surprise surprise.

Hi to everyone else!

I probabaly will not be on much this weekend (like many others). I have a bday party, a graduation party and a family picnic to attend. This is my last bday party until mid July- So I am very happy. I think from the end of April through July - I have 20 birthday parties- Isn't that nuts. I only should have 1 in July and 1 in August- so that's not bad.

It's rainy here today - but the rest of the weekend should be beautiful!

Good morning ladies! TGIF!!!

The baby has been moving so much this morning! I've felt it 4 times already and I've only been up for 2 hours! I just love that feeling!

My hubby has to work all weekend so I am hoping to get some stuff done around the house. It has been getting up into the 90's here. I hate it! I am definitely not a hot weather person, especially when preggo.

Suzanne: My hands swell up too if I walk or run. I hate that! It is so uncomfortable!

littlebear: Your nursery sounds adorable!! You'll definitely have to post pics! BTW- You look a lot like Diane Lane!

metro: I'm glad you are feeling better today. I went through a period early in my pregnancy when I wondered if all the sickness was worth it. I was seriously starting to think I had made a mistake. But once you see that little heartbeat, it all changes! You will feel better before you know it.

Angela: I'm so glad you are feeling better today. Sometimes we just have to get it out in the open. And when you are done cleaning your house, can you come over to mine??

Amy (bear) - Your Before and After pics are AMAZING!!!!! And your nursery sounds awesome!

Amy - Glad to hear you're feeling better today. When I eat a LC candy bar, some sugar alcohols have laxative effect on me, so I munch on one, and I'm on the toilet several hours later or the next day. I also take psyllium husks regularly and try to eat whole grain or LC breads w/ high fiber. Good luck!

Angela - Glad to hear you're doing better! Please give me some of your cleaning urge!!

My spotting/bleeding is a lot better today. The internal did hurt like a major TOM cramp. I don't know if I'll be excited about it next week... Will see if this OB is a little gentler. I hope!

My stupid FMLA claim is still pending. I wanted my last day to be 7/9, so they'd better get their a$$es in gear! It took them 2 weeks to mail me a letter saying I wasn't eligible, which I proved wrong, so they still have to review it. Arrgg... Without my official last day, I feel like I have no end in sight.....

Well went to three tag sales - nothing much, but did pick up a nice baby monitor for 5 dollars. It seems like so many tag sales try to sell yucky baby stuff - stuff that is way outdated, stained, etc. I would just donate those things to goodwill or a church or throw them away - i wouldn't expect people to pay money for them! And in Connecticut people want a lot of money for them - which is nuts.

Then came back and did more on the nursery - the "jungle canopy" consisting of tree limbs, fake leaves, butterflies and 2 stuffed monkeys is done! Give me another week to perfect everything and i will post pics.

Such cute baby pics i see on here - i can't wait to see what little aiden looks like!!!

And thank you for the Diane Lane comment - now that makes me feel good. (Now if i can only get my body to look half as good as hers after this baby i will be very happy!)
